A wonderful true log cabin. We came to ski Sugarbush. Totally enjoyed the cozy cabin and its well appointed amenities. The host was graciously informative and very responsive to our inquiries. Highly recommend if you're looking for a serene and cozy getaway.

We really enjoyed our January long weekend! It’s a great, tucked away location though close to Sugarbush. The whole family enjoyed cooking meals in the large kitchen and snuggling in front of the fire in the evening.

We had an awesome time at this cabin about 10 minutes away from Sugarbush. It's a very modern and well-maintained place that I would highly recommend. The beds are very comfy too. It is in a secluded location, but the roads are very well/frequently plowed. 10/10!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy home! It is clean and comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, and there was plenty of sleeping space for our family of 5. We loved hanging out in the comfy living room by the woodstove. Access was easy and host super responsive.

My family and I spent 5 days at Darci’s beautiful cabin in the woods. We enjoyed listening to the river and the beautiful scenery surrounding the home. It was picture perfect. The home itself was better than the pictures and exceeded our expectations. We loved using the wood stove which made an already cozy environment idyllic. Darci was super easy to communicate with and quickly helped when necessary. My only suggestion is to offer a “house book” reminding us of check out procedures, heat and using the wood stove. I prefer not to bother the host.

This was a perfect house rental for my family. This beautiful modern log cabin had everything that we needed to enjoy time in the mountains near the Sugarbush resort. The town of Warren was very close by and we stopped by the Warren Market to buy some breakfast and lunch supplies. The Shaws supermarket is also nearby in the next town over in Waitsfield to buy more supplies. The house is equipped with a lot of the basics so we had fun cooking a few meals during our stay. There are great restaurants nearby too. The beds were really comfortable and the showers were nice and hot. The fireplace worked great and you can see the beautiful creek outside from the family room. The house had a nice layout for us with the master bedroom and a big kitchen and family room on the first floor and large bedroom and extra bedroom loft upstairs.

Great property in a great location!
We had a great time staying here for the weekend! The house was clean and cozy. It’s also in close proximity to many great outdoor activities. We spent the weekend hiking to Sunset Ledge and swimming at Warren Falls and Blueberry Lake. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a beautiful location in a dead end road with a nice creek out back. The open space provided an opportunity to light a fire and have wonderful family moments. There were 5 of us and fortunately the cabin is dog friendly because we had those as well. It’s close to the mountain, shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed dinner at the Hyde Away.
Why not 5 stars? The house would be tight sleeping 8 adults, it was tight with five of us but it may have been us. The futon is in an open loft between the upstairs bath and the bedroom with the two full beds.
Spring in VT causes the roads to become very muddy so if you drive here in the early spring don’t let a portion of the Lincoln Gap road surprise you. It’s best if you have a 4 wheel drive but my sons Honda made it through. Also, make sure to enable WiFi phone call on your phone otherwise you will be unable to make phone calls.
This is a great cabin if you have young children or if you are traveling with another family with young children.
Darci was great and responded quickly to my many questions.

No cell phone service but wifi available, and no soap or shampoo which is usually provided at other rentals so we didn't pack it. Otherwise we had everything we needed.

Wonderful Log Cabin
My family loved our visit! Super charming and cozy log cabin was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of VT. We usually stay closer to Sugarbush but the short drive was not a big deal. Kids and dog had a blast exploring the nearby woods. Was a great mini vacay.

A very warm and cosy cabin with plenty of space to relax, cook and enjoy the surroundings. We loved the wood-burner and the well-stocked kitchen and didn't feel cramped with seven us of staying on a couple of nights

We enjoyed our meals out in Waitsfield (20 minute drive). Toast &Egg, Blue Slate, Worth’y Burger and of course some excellent beer at Lawsons Finest Liquids. We even made our own pint glasses at Salt & Sand. Darci was a genuine pleasure to work with for the house rental. She was very quick to respond to any questions.

Great log cabin, everything as described
The house is beautiful inside and out. We had all the things we needed and then some (I have been there before were there was no salt and pepper and so on, this is not like this at all).
Darci is a great host as well.
