Great getaway spot for families.

We stayed with 4 families for June 9th weekend. Check in process was smooth with clear instructions, and the cabin was spacious with great views at a nice secluded location. One of the bed rooms didn't have any windows with no air circulation/vent that was disappointing. Even though the rental agreement says there is a starter supply for bath soap, we have seen that only in bathroom. Another thing surprised all of us was that the hand soaps in bathroom/kitchen was almost above the bottom, and some of them even mixed up with water. We tried calling the property management company to report this, left a voicemail and even left a message through vrbo, but literally there was no acknowledgment to take care of the situation. Another major disappointment was the propane gas tank was not refilled that affected our grilling plan as well. We have stayed in several cabins across the US, but this is the first time we had such an experience with a poor property management and housekeeping. Definitely will not recommend unless these issues will be addressed timely.

The house was well equipped for our large (18) family vacation. Plenty of windows, outdoor decks and comfortable furniture. There was plenty of room for everyone in our group. I highly recommend Mountainside Vibes for a wonderful vacation stay.

Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your house. We really enjoyed it! The driving uphill in the snow was challenging, but worth it! The view from every single room in the house is just spectacular! The house is spacious, has a lot of bathrooms, the kitchen has everything we needed. We really enjoyed the vintage lighting and decor!
Thanks again! Somebody came in the morning and snow plowed the driveway. Very nice surprise. Thank you!

Even with a few mishaps we had a wonderful weekend. Each time I called the maintenance / cleaning crew were very prompt to arrive.

Fireplace, pool table, large amount of space. This is our 4th year in a row renting from Mountaintop rentals on Timberline mountain and we have always been treated great. Smooth communication on initial signing, check in on arrival day and check out.

Had a great time! We love the open layout of the house and there is plenty of room for people to be together or alone. Plenty of bathrooms. The new carpet in basement looks great. No problems. Very easy to work with.

Loved everything about the property... set up is great .. hot tub was added bonus as well as the pool table and games downstairs. Loved the fact that there were many dining areas and the bedrooms were very complimentary to all with their own bathrooms . The only drawback was the big tv on main floor was not working. Very accessible to towns and restaurants. Couldn't brag enough ... thanks for great experience. Rebecca was great... couldn't ask for better customer service

My entire family loved the property. The kitchen had anything and everything that a person needed. They answered all questions and sent information when I requested it.

Save a few needed repairs (shower door bar, faucets, electrical outlets, furniture), our visit was near perfect! The size was comfortable for all: three master bedrooms for the adults plus a girls room upstairs and a boys room in the basement. We found about everything we needed to prepare our Thankgiving dinner (except oven space..). The views were spectacular from all over the house. We made good use of the pool table, tvs, trails... Loved the round table and managed to fit all 11 of us there for Thanksgiving dinner. We have rented from you 4 years and have always had a positive experience with the team. Very friendly and accommodating.

Very nice big house. Wonderful views. Had everything we needed. Only complaint, hot tub took very very long to warm up and more televisions would of been great. Overall a wonderful family weekend.

We absolutely loved the property. Loved the size of the place and the proximity to Canaan Golf Course. The gentleman at the front desk at your office did an outstanding job accommodating our needs and Becky was very helpful at getting us in without a hitch. We loved it so much that we would like to rent the property again next year around the same time.

We all loved the cabin. It’s very clean and has everything one can ask for. The hot tub was super nice in these crazy cold temperatures. There was enough room for all of us to sleep comfortably and hang around.

We had a beautiful wedding at the cabin. Our friends and family had plenty of space to spread out. Weather was great with a picture-effect view for the wedding ceremony. The cabin was a perfect fit. Everyone was great to work with

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. From hiking into Dolly Sods to the pool table and hot tub, everyone found something to do. We are hoping to come back next year!! (also, the bass fishing was great in the main lake!!)

We had yet another excellent time staying with friends in Dolly Sods. This cabin was one of the most spacious we've ever rented which worked out spectacularly for our group of 14. All of the bedrooms were comfortable and we didn't have to have anybody sleeping in common areas -- the multiple common spaces meant that everybody could wake and sleep at their own schedule. The kitchen was large allowing us to prepare big meals, and the tables on the patio were a great dining space. This cabin is massive and gorgeous. The team was excellent and let us in early when we arrived before checkin.

We loved the Spruce Lodge. It was very spacious for all 14 people. The kids and adults loved all the activities in the cabin - pool table, nice size hot tub, ping pong, foosball table. The activities around the cabin were nice - canoeing, horseback riding. Loved the white water rafting at BOA nearby. The cabin was very clean and had all the kitchen appliances you would need to cook with. The large patio was very nice to grill out and hang out on. Loved the whole experience and plan on coming back!! The house was very clean when we arrived and the rental office was extremely helpful. Awesome experience.

We really enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Skiing fun but when minus 30 degrees with wind on Sunday the house was comfortable and enough activities to enjoy a day inside. Beautiful place with great view. Very helpful. Came out during freezing day to diagnose tv and WiFi issues.

We were all very happy with the property. We couldn't have asked for a better view. If we come back to that area, we will want the same property. We may consider a teacher retreat there. It would be nice just to spend the weekend there without having to go out. It's a perfect spot! A little bit of heaven in WV tucked away in the beautiful mountains. The team was very professional and pleasant. They met our needs and we were very satisfied every time we talked with them.

Would absolutely stay there again. The area is gorgeous with tons to explore and the nearby town of Davis has so much more we'd like to see. Such an incredible location and the property was so open and welcoming. The house was inviting and encouraged everyone to relax and enjoy our time together as a group but also provided enough rooms with some privacy and tons of outdoor space for those who aren't as social and needed to recharge on their own every once in a while. The team was very responsive to my questions via email. They never went more than a couple hours before responding. The team was very helpful and welcoming.

Very nice home with even more potential. In process of renovating/updating. Updates are very nice but there are still general maintenance issues. Door lock in basement is broken. Master bath shower handle comes right off and would hurt if it landed on your foot. No curtains on windows in bunk room. House has great layout and is great for skiing.

I have rented this property 2 times now last year I think we had the same issues the knob in the master shower is broken and falls off down stairs door doesn't lock and last the tv down stairs and in the master bed do not work they said they were hooked up to direct tv but could not get them to work. I made a call to the office and left a message but never got a call back last year i was able to get the master tv to work but not this year
