After the power company came and fixed the power issue on the 2nd day, we had A/C and non-flickering lights, so all was good. Wifi code was wrong but there is one on a refrigerator magnet that is correct. We plan to come back in the future.

The house had everything we needed and can’t beat that location! Across the street from beach with access through a short path over a low dune, outstanding views, and plenty of space for our 2 family group.

we have stayed at BABES Place for several years and have always enjoyed this unit. We appreciate the roominess and the great location to the beach as well. The unit was very clean when we moved in and we had an air conditioning unit that was resolved immediately. We will continue to come back and stay at Babes Place.

The photos on line didn’t do the place justice. There were many upgrades. These should be highlighted. Also the photos showed a direct walk across to the beach but this was not the case. We had to walk up over a dune. This is not a problem unless you are 74 with asthma. I may have made a different selection. But the house and views were awesome and in a great location.

Our extended family stayed here together and had a great time. Easy access to the beach and still close to shopping and restaurants. The house is very roomy and perfect for big families with 2 complete kitchens and multiple seating areas.

We had a great time at Babe's Place. Large house with unobstructed ocean views from the deck and beach access across the street. Excellent customer service from Carolina Shores. Highly recommend this house, expecially for large families.

We love this place. As the title mentions it’s the second time we’ve stayed there and we love the views and the easy access to the beach!!! Enough room to fit the family but also enough room for us to get away from each other when we need to. Only issue was the three days or A/C units not working and night time temps min the house bing crazy high, but Michelle and Allison were great and in constant contact to ensure the problems were fixed.
All in all love the place wish it was mine lol. Love the OBX!!!

2nd stay at Babes place
We love this place. As the title mentions it’s the second time we’ve stayed there and we love the views and the easy access to the beach!!! Enough room to fit the family but also enough room for us to get away from each other when we need to. Our vacation was great but I did have to wait about 20 minutes to check in, though there was only one person in front of me. Two people were in the office with another in and out but one person spent her time tracking someone down for a phone call while the other was on the phone. The downstairs of the house was very dirty and this was not the first year for that to happen.

Love the house. Great spot. Close to the beach. Close to alot. Just wish we did not have to loose a day down here. Cant check in till 4 pm and have to be out by eleven am. Really the house is wonderful. Wish I could get a discount for returning. 2019 will be our 4 th visit to this house. The only thing i wish could change would be new furniture. Replace those leather sofas and chairs. Love love love it.

Very dirty.... Clean linens and towels but the place, especially the downstairs, was half *** cleaned. Sand ,cig butts, and empty coke cans under the bed. Broken fan in bedroom, broken back door handle, dusty.... Had to clean before unpacking. Will never stay there again.

It was very nice. We have been using Carolina Shores every since they have been opened. We love Babs place. Weather was really hot , which is unusual at the beach. No thunderstorms. Disappointing!!!!!!!! Seaweed was bad the second day there. Then some small chunks of jellyfish. Then ther we is thi white shimmering stuff. I was told it was algi. Yuck. I’d rather think it’s jellyfish. Lol All in all not a bad trip.

The view is magnificent and we saw the luminescence waves, neon blue, on three nights. WHat an unbelievable sight. We already reserved for next year and have stayed at Babe's place, all totaled, about thirteen years, albeit not in a row. The owners take great care of this gem by the ocean and we appreciate the professionalism of the reality company. They make it easy to do business with them and take care of their customers.

Very good week weather-wise. This home's direct beach access is a plus, but it would be helpful to those of us getting older to have one of those boardwalks over the dunes that so many others seem to have along the beach road. The first floor bath could use some upgrades, as I mentioned in my review I submitted on our departure. We appreciated the quick response to replacing the non-functioning gas grill.

The home had an amazing view and we loved waking up to the sounds of the ocean every morning. Very short walk to the beach! The only downfall was cleanliness of the home. There were dead bugs plastered all over the windows and window sills. The bottom level had mold and strong odor. Overall, the space was perfect for my family.

Loved the location and the layout of the house.
House needs a really good cleaning. The outdoor shower has only cold water. They have a bug and mouse issue. The worst problem is the lack of water pressure on the top floor. At times there is no water at all.
All this being said, if these issues were addressed, we would stay there again.

We had an excellent week. The weather was much better than forecast. The house is ideal for our multi-generational family. We had rented this house several times in the past (last time was 2009, I believe), and didn't realize how much we missed it. Thanks to the Carolina Shores staff for doing a great job including sending the nice prizes to our grandkids for submitting their colored pictures. See you next year.

Best vacation ever, the house was convenient to the beach and most activities. House was kept, the only negative was mouse traps and ant traps in plain sight. Children could easily access both types of traps

As always (this was our 6th year at Babe's Place!), it was a wonderful week. We love the layout of the house, the proximity to the beach, the big porch for gathering (but miss the swing!), and the privacy of separate (3 levels) spaces. Wonderful week!

We loved Babe's Place! The location was great, directly across the street from the beach with no giant stairs to climb. We've stayed beachfront with a much longer walk to the beach. House was clean and well-equipped. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the master bath on the upper level, and to caution visitors on the spiral staircase which is steep and narrow. We also had ants in the kitchen.

The location of this property is fantastic as is the rental price. There are some issues that need to be addressed before we rent here again. Mold is coming through the ceiling from the upstairs plumbing and there are several black spots showing. They have been there for some time so I think the owners know about them by now. Also a musty smell in the downstairs unit but that may be from non usage for some time. Dust clinging to ceiling and walls as well as a lot of dirt in the AC returns. Babes Place needs a deep cleaning and mold abatement.
