The cabin was really cozy and had all the essentials necessary to have a comfortable stay while there even though temperatures were in the 40’s at night. Really close to big bend national park and close to several extremely tasty restaurants.

This property is as close to the National Park as you can get while also being close to Terlingua. We used this as a base camp for exploring and it was perfect.

The bed was comfortable- a much needed comfort after spending our days hiking and exploring BBNP. It was a perfect location and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone who wants to stay near Big Bend.

Nice stay in Terlingua. Property was just right! Location close to La Kiva provided music on the porch in the early evening. Very clean and comfortable.

We had a great time. The property is close to all the amenities of Terlingua. Even though the cabin is right out in the open, when you are there it feels very secluded and wonderful.

If you're visiting Big Bend this place is a great option for you.
It's pretty big, spacey, nice looking and the location is great.
Only 1 thing the owner should know is that the A/C in the living room is very noisy. Other than that I think it's a great choice.

Property is well-situated near Big Bend National Park and close to services such as groceries and a selection of restaurants. The cabin was clean and comfortable and we loved the porch and the great stargazing on clear nights.

The cabin was amazing! The location was perfect, as it was quiet & peaceful. We really enjoyed sitting outside, gazing up at the stars. It was a refreshing & relaxing weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

Very close to Big Bend National Park where we spent most of our time, but also convenient to the Ghost Town of Terlingua and other sites of interest. Had a great time in the park and nice to know we were not far from "home" at the end of a busy day exploring. Property managers were very responsive to the couple of questions we had. Also had the pleasure of meeting Sherri, the owner. Would stay again!

Exactly as described, this little house is a gem. Comfortable,clean, great location, and the glider on the front porch was just so nice. Coffee, the glider, and a billion stars - it was just wonderful.
I used my phone as a hot spot for WiFi, with Verizon, and it worked but was slow - only 3 G. But we were not there for the WiFi.
Both parks are easy to get to, in February we needed hat nets for the gnats on a couple of hikes. We were told when the bats come back the gnats won’t be a problem! We really enjoyed the pizza at the Long Draw Pizza place, and the box lunches from the general store in Lajitas.

As long as you can stay in one bed downstairs ,sleeping will be comfortable. If you are a small person, the shower is excellent. The property needs a better microwave. They are cheap and would be a great upgrade. The location is quiet and has some great restaurants close by. Lucky for us,we brought our own coffee and French press. Stale Folgers and no filters was not a good wake up experience. The property should invest in a Pod coffee maker.

Hilltop view
The property was clean and easily accessible. It was near the entrance to Big Bend as well as the restaurants of Terlingua. We had a nice view of the Terlingua Creek from the front porch. We stayed two nights and had all we needed.

Sherri's Terlingua Cabin on the Creek
We loved sitting on the porch every night looking over Terlingua Creek. We were at the house when there were two huge lightning storms. It was a thrilling show from front row seats and the next day the creek was full and flowing after a long draught.
The kitchen was well equipped so we were able to cook every night.
The house is also very close to everything so it's very convenient.
If you're lucky, you might run into Sherri, the owner, who is a fabulous person that will share interesting information about the Study Butte--Terlingua area.

We loved the remoteness of Terlingua, the cabin sits in a great location, though, close to Terlingua ghost town. We found the place to be exactly as advertised and loved it!

This was a great cabin for our needs. We were there to hike in Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park for 5 days. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. It was very quiet and on the nights there was no cloud cover we had great views of the stars.The only thing that would have been nicer was a bigger shower as one of our party was 6’2 and weighed around 210 and he didn’t fit very well.

This was a great cabin for our needs. We were there to hike in Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park for 5 days. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. It was very quiet and on the nights there was no cloud cover we had great views of the stars.The only thing that would have been nicer was a bigger shower as one of our party was 6’2 and weighed around 210 and he didn’t fit very well.

A deep spring cleaning might be needed, but with all the dust and wind in the area that maybe a never - ending task! If we are ever back in the area we will definitely consider staying here again.

The house was perfect for our family of four. It sits right on the Terlingua creek(which had just puddles in it when we were there). Close to Big Bend west entrance. Great for coming and going into the park if you can’t get into the lodge in the park. The house has limited cookware/pots/pans but this it clearly stated in the listing. If your not doing much cooking, not a problem, Oven small and did not find a pan or baking sheet in the place that would fit in the oven. Other than that place was perfect for us as home base for visiting Big Bend for 3 days.

The property is way too small but cute. I have a back issue and the bed was too soft for me. Spent sleepless nights. For others, the bed may be OK. The place was clean except the bathroom sink which I was thought was a bit filthy with soap scum. I would say the place was just OK.
