Situato in una splendida valle di Blaeberry, 15 minuti di auto dal Golden, la nostra Cordwood Chalet è il luogo perfetto per pace e tranquillità nel cuore della natura. Di recente costruzione e confortevole, la sua posizione offre una vasta gamma di attività all'aria aperta. Il mio compagno ed io abbiamo preso 6 anni per costruire questo piccolo paradiso. Abbiamo design e costruire il posto del tutto noi stessi. Abbiamo cercato di utilizzare prodotti il più ecologici, come abbiamo potuto e siamo orgogliosi di offrire ai nostri ospiti un magnifico ambiente circostante.

Il nostro cristallino fiume blaeberry è a pochi minuti a piedi dallo chalet dove una vista incredibile sul circostante si possono osservare. Trekking, mountain bike, racchette da neve, sci di fondo, sci alpino, escursioni in motoslitta sono alcuni dei più uscite che si possono fare nella zona. La nostra casa è di circa 300 metri di distanza dalla Cordwood Chalet. Essa ha la sua strada privata ed è completamente autosufficiente. Gli ospiti sono saluto all'arrivo e siamo a disposizione per loro in qualsiasi momento per domande o commenti. Inglese, francese e spagnolo è parlato

This place was so great, we tried to respect and leave everything as it was when we arrived. We didn’t get to meet Priscilla but her place is just wonderful. So peaceful and perfect for a couple. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and this was the perfect hide away chalet.
One thing my wife wanted was maybe a privacy curtain in the bathroom window, but mountains and trees surrounded the place totally. Never saw anyone except a deer. Again just perfect..

This is a fantastic property in the Blaeberry valley close to Golden. A car is a necessity. If you’re looking for a brilliant property in peace and tranquility then this property is it. We saw two deer walk through the garden.
The owner Prescilla is very welcoming and helpful.

This cabin is a “one of a kind” paradise. Lots of wood and stone skillfully strewn together to create a home away from home. Every window, doorframe and corner draws the eye. The kitchen is warm and functional, supplied with all the amenities as well as some basic spices. The loft bathroom with tub has a large window looking out into the woods. Two outdoor patios complement and expand the indoor space. A short drive to Thompson Falls trail.

This property is fantastic! It sits in the middle of raw mountain beauty! Waterfalls all around the location, deer come right into the yard, complete privacy! The cabin has everything you could need or want! Would stay here over and over!!

Very peaceful and private you can tell the chalet was handmade with love by owners!! MOST enjoyable was seeing a black bear just outside the window one morning. Host was super helpful on tips on places to hike, where to get to supplies, and general tips on getting around. Be sure to check with host before your trip to verify when the Trans Canadian Highway will and will not be open. When we stayed it was closed daily between 10pm and 7am

Really enjoyed our time here! The chalet itself is a piece of architectural art and I found myself in awe of its many unique features - really cool. The location is perfect for an immersive nature retreat. And Priscilla was the best host and was easy to get a hold of if needed. Would highly recommend and will be back again. Thanks!

You would not feel like you are traveling, you will feel like it is an extension of your home. I went in winter, the peaceful neighborhood that can be quiet without a sound at night, but the beautiful creeks during the day with the singing of birds remind you that you are surrounded by life. It was just perfect

Our stay at this quaint Chalet nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies was one of the best experiences we've had. One can see that this place was thought out and built with beauty and relaxation in mind. The owners' attention to detail is very evident...the window views, kitchen, living room with a cozy woodstove were all little details that we enjoyed. Would love to stay here again sometime. Also I do have to add that the owner Priscilla was very understanding and helpful with whatever we needed, even with an embarrassing mistake that I had made on my part. Thank you again.

Great place to stay for an adult couple! Super cute cabin in the woods about 10 min outside of Golden. Very quiet and private location. Spacious living room with a wood stove which comes in handy in the winter. We'll equipped kitchen and a backyard BBQ. Priscilla was very responsive to any communication and check in was a breeze with all instructions you need inside the cabin. If we ever come back to Golden we would definitely stay here again!

Priscilla and Johnathan built a beautiful chalet. We were looking for a place to escape our busy work life and found that here. It was clean, perfect size for two people, close enough to town and full of spots to hike/explore.
The hosts have great advise on where to go for hikes, and where not to go, listen to them :)

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in this cozy and peaceful cabin in the woods. The cabin is so unique and you can really tell that the owners put lots of love and work into making it a special place to visit. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to get in touch with for any needs or questions that come up. Kitchen is well equipped and clean. Bed and bedding very comfortable. En suite bathroom in the loft is so lovely for relaxing with amazing wilderness and mountain views. Lots of cute personal touches and a lovely display of photos from the construction of the cabin on the wall which we enjoyed. Lots of trails and things to do nearby. Ample parking if needed. Would recommend this cabin to others and would return again if visiting the area. Thank you for the comfortable and unique stay!

I have stayed in many VRBO's and this one is one I will never forget. The place is absolutely charming and I could not more highly recommend staying there. This is the first property at which I have stayed that I actually sent photos of the property to my family and friends... and we have stayed at some excellent properties. It is unique and stunning. You will not be disappointed.

A little piece of heaven on earth
Our trip to the cordwood chalet was absolutely lovely - everything about this place is beautiful, clean, and relaxing! We loved every single second and hope to return again! The owners were very thorough and organized and quick to respond to questions. The location was perfect for hiking, taking some cold amazing swims, shopping the golden strip, and eating some amazing food both in golden and made at the chalet! The chalet was very well equipped with everything we could need to cook our own meals too! Love love love this place!!! It was awesome!

The cabin was awesome - well-proportioned and beautifully built and decorated. Priscilla was an excellent host and went over the handy map with me showing walks I could do near the property. It was great to be able to hike and bike without having to get in the car and drive somewhere. Made the 20 minute drive into Golden only one day to play disc golf and bike the riverside pathways.

The cabin was awesome - well-proportioned and beautifully built and decorated. Priscilla was an excellent host and went over the handy map with me showing walks I could do near the property. The Cordwood Chalet was one of the most beautiful and comfortable places we have stayed at. Priscilla the host was excellent in her availability and recommendations on outdoor excursions, hikes and restaurants. The Chalet was so clean, warm, cosy, serene and extremely well stocked. There was no lack of anything from a well supplied kitchen to firewood for the fireplace to linens, candles and toiletries. Priscilla has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and cosy. The location of the Chalet is on a beautiful 8 acres of land completely surrounded by forest and nature. It was such a pleasure to wake up to the serenade of birds every morning. The Chalet provides privacy and quiet that is so rare. This is definitely a place to come and recharge and rest. We loved drinking coffee from the porch every morning, lounging on a big day bed/sofa and making meals in a well supplied kitchen. The view from the bath tub is truly unforgettable, soaking and watching the sun set in the mountains is one of the treasured memories my wife will never forget. This Chalet is definitely a place we will come back to. If you love serenity and being surrounded by nature, this is the place to be. Thankyou Priscilla and family for sharing your beautiful home built with so much love and thoughtfulness. It made our Wedding Anniversary so memorable.

Highly recommend.
This was the first stop on our 20th anniversary, so we had high expectations. The Cordwood Cottage met our expectations and then some.
The home was very clean, represented those fine little touches of owners who truly care and was offered at an affordable price. The location was private and although the owners were available to support any of our needs, they provided us with some much appreciated privacy.
The only suggestion for improvement would be the bed. Although it was comfortable and clean, it didn’t represent the fine finishings the rest of the home had- Not a deal breaker by no means but simply an opportunity to improve.
Thank you very much for sharing your home with us, we are truly grateful.

What an amazing stay we had at the Cordwood cottage. The place is very clean, nice and comfortable. It was a very quiet area so we got to enjoy ourselves and chill and relax. The owner Priscilla was welcoming and gave us tips on activities and place to visit to the area. I would definitely come back to the cottage if I ever travel to Golden again.
