Look at the pictures...do you like what you see? If you do, you will be even more pleasantly surprised with this home. We were looking for a place that was well-decorated and well-situated. A pool was a requirement as was a dock because we planned on bringing our boat down as well. Casa Sueño Del Mar ticked all of those boxes. We stayed here over the Thanksgiving break, first with friends flying in from Califormnia and then with family coming in for Thanksgiving. The first part with friends was filled with cookouts from the outside grill while lounging in the pool after a day of fishing. Our family enjoyed a wonderful week’s stay during Christmas 2018! Let me say that the home is exactly as advertised - warm, clean, cozy and thoughtfully appointed. The home shows as new or recently remodeled. The three bedrooms were nicely done. Linens were fresh and clean, and the entire home sparkled! Our favorite feature of the home was the large sectional sofa in the family room. There was plenty of room for 5 adults and an infant to chill out, relax and enjoy quality family time. Whether our day took us to the beach, a day trip to Key West, or a day on the water pitching live pilchards to hungry sailfish, this house felt like home. The large dining table was perfect for a meal or family games, cards or an evening cocktail. The kitchen was well appointed - dishes, glasses, utensils and serving pieces were abundant. A gourmet may have wanted a few more pots and pans, but who wants to cook every night, especially with so many great restaurants nearby. The gas grill is a plus, and we had two great meals from it. The pool and waterfront patio / dock area a super place to hang out day or night. Each day or evening, we were visited by manatees, looking for a drink of fresh water or a nibble of lettuce. The dock could easily accommodate a 30’+ boat. Bring your own or rent a boat locally. The owners thoughtfully provided beach chairs and nearly everything needed for a relaxing day at one of the nearby beaches. Sombrero Beach is a short drive away, and is one of the nicest beaches in the Keys. Sunset Park is a short stroll away, as well as our one our favorite Keys restaurants, the Key Colony Inn. This gem in Key Colony Beach is ideally situated in the heart of the Florida Keys. Key West is about an hour away, if you are inclined to take a day trip. We enjoyed our visit so much that we have already booked our next stay!

Our family (two adults and two children) spent 8 fabulous days in this home for Spring Break. The house is immaculate. Everything is brand new and in working order. The decoration and furniture are well appointed, with a true beach feel. The pool was clean (cleaned once during our stay) and very comfortable. Annie and Carlos provided all the necessary information before arrival. We didn't need to contact them for anything during out stay but they were very responsive the few time we exchanged emails in preparation for our arrival. Arrival and departure were quick and very simple. Key Colony is a nice little community in Marathon. We met a few residents in the area (during morning walks or while watching the sunsets at the public park/beach - a must do!) and everyone was nice, welcoming, and proud of their community. We rented a boat for a few days to snorkel and tour Marathon and had a blast with it. The dock in the house was perfect for it. Next time, we will go fishing (didn't venture to do so this time). We saw a manatees on the canal almost every day and the kids loved them. Overall, a magnificent vacation and experience overall. We will be back next year and are already looking forward to it!

Beautiful setting and the decor was exactly like the pictures. Professionally decorated. Access to great dining, entertainment and beautiful sunsets.
