Bedding on master bed smelled like they were in the washer too long. So I had to strip the bed down and wash bedding, including mattress cover. Also, room with queen bed smelled musty. Otherwise, the rest of the house was very clean.

There was plenty of room for our family of 6. The house is luted as a ocean/beach view thats incorrect. Outside bbq and outside heater did not work at all so we were unable to use those items. We arrived to the sunroom not being swept out before our arrival (8 month old found food and plastic) i had to clean it, also had to clean the coffee maker before i could make coffee.. dishes were put away dirty including coffe cups and pots and pans. THIS PROPERTY WAS DELIGHTFUL, CLEAN AND BRIGHT AND WELL DESIGNED. ALTHOUGH WE WERE GATHERED FOR A SAD OCCASSION, THE HOST WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO WELCOME US AND MAKE US FEEL AT HOME. WILL DEFINITELY KEEP IN MIND IF WE RETURN TO CA.

Location of this property is amazing; short drive to boardwalk and a quick walk to a great beach. The downside to this property is how dirty the inside and outside was. There was mold covering the majority of one of the showers, the beds were sinking in (literally had to roll to get myself out of bed), the bed sheets were so rough, there was about a 1” thickness of dust covering the blades of the standing fans inside of each room (thank goodness there was AC!), we had to wash a bunch of pots and pans/ utensils prior to using them due to food still being stuck from previous use, the outside patio dinning table and chairs were literally falling apart, the backyard smelled like dog urine and there was cob webs everywhere. Not sure when the last time someone rented this property was but it should have been cleaned prior to us using it.

The cottage was as advertised. It was very comfortable for four adults with beds for all and two bathrooms. A very short walk takes you to the beach which had conveniently placed benches for the 2 elderly guests we had with us. The spa was a most welcome feature after a full day. A delightful stay overall.

This was our second stay. With 3 generations together, the extra sleep and play area of the sunroom was really appreciated. This cute house has everything needed for a great time just hanging out together or going to the beach.

BeachyKeen "checked all of our boxes" and then some! The house was clean, well stocked, kid friendly and cute! We loved hanging out in the backyard and the novelty of a nice warm outdoor shower to rinse off from the beach. My husband, two kids (3 and 8) and I felt right at home. It was an easy walk to the beach and we were so happy to have the boogie board, beach toys and towels, having come by plane. Thank you so much for a lovely stay; we would love to return someday!

Nice place
This property worked well for our adult family and one toddler. Having kid toys and adult games available and the spa in the backyard made for nice evenings. It is an easy walk to the beach. It was nice to have a few seasonings and essentials in the kitchen for cooking at home. The owners were very responsive to any questions. We would stay again.

We had a wonderful time in Santa Cruz. This place was perfect for 6, I bet easily 8 could fit here great. Everyone received a dedicated bed, which was paramount for selecting our place. We used the hot tub nightly, which was in great working order and truly a nice way to end our day(s) in SC. All in all, our stay was perfect. We are glad we selected this place!

This cute little house is perfect for walks to the beach or excursions around the area. Our girls weekend included taking the provided beach chairs and walking to the beach, walking to local dinning establishments and also short drives to CAPITOLA, Santa Cruz and Natural Bridges to see the butterflies. An enjoyable weekend we’d loved to come back and would certainly recommend to other.
