We both loved this little cottage. We enjoy antiques and older houses (my friend has an antique booth) and we found the older pieces and cleaver design elements a lot of fun to fawn over and discover in our short stay. As others have said, the location is an easy walk to some good local restaurants. Try Mi Vida for some surprisingly good veggie breakfast items (we liked it better than a well-regarded vegan restaurant in Savannah). Fins Corner Pizza and Hibachi had great pizza despite the, er, unusual pairing of cuisines. Even the sushi place was good. And we’re picky! We had some internet hiccups, but the owner was very responsive, and the issue was resolved quickly (for cable issues, lol). And she was VERY easy to reach and quite accommodating. You can’t ask for better than that. If I had to quibble about anything, I suppose the lighting could be a little brighter inside the cottage.

The Greene Cottage has comfy beds and the outdoor shower is a big plus if you're a beach bum. It has a lovely screened in front porch with dining & sitting areas with a ceiling fan. It's in a quiet neighborhood but close to dining and shops.

This was our 2nd stay in Greene Cottage and it won’t be our last. Even staying during a hurricane it was comfortable and felt like home away from home. The beautiful art, and comfortable furnishing put Greene Cottage above all others! The walkability to popular areas of Tybee is icing on the cake. Thank you to Pegi for being the most gracious host. Can’t wait to book next years trip!

Location was important to us, as we’d stayed on Tybee island before and knew the part of the island we wanted to be near. Pegi was very easy to communicate with and the house was lovely and well stocked. We will definitely look forward to renting it again next time we’re down that way.

Absolutely LOVED the cottage. The owner (Pegi) is great and resolved an AC issue quickly on my check in day. Everything needed is there. The AC does cool quickly and the beds are really comfy!! Will be eager to return.

We loved this great cottage that was close to everything on the island. Full of vintage charm and comfy all around! We were in town for a wedding and it was the perfect place to rest and relax amid the wedding events.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Greene Cottage. It is in a safe location and convenient to a variety of restaurants and shops. The cottage was very quaint and provided much of what we needed. The outdoor shower was a nice option when returning from the beach. Overall, a great stay!

We were on the island to see Wasted Potential Brass Band at Huck a Poos and Chamacos, but I would book this cottage again even if the beach was closed! Every room is thoughtfully decorated, filled with sunshine and a carefree openess. We dined by the soft glow of string lights on the screened porch and had a private grill on the patio near the outdoor shower. The two bedrooms are far enough apart to provide privacy should you have guests. The master bedroom ensuite includes a claw-foot tub and large separate shower with a rain showerhead. Community is quiet and easily walkable. You have off-street parking for 2 vehicles. This is a bonus because free parking is limited. You may rent golf carts, bicycles, or beach chairs. We were not able to access the assigned WiFi network.

Just a quick walk to beautiful and quiet Inlet beach. We saw lot of people paddle boarding and kayaking near the inlet as well as fishing.
Walkable to food and beach shops. Also close to ocean beach if you want a livelier vibe.

Very nice small and cozy cottage within a 5 minute walk to the beach. Exactly as pictured and described in the listing. It's small but has everything you need for a relaxing vacation close to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!!

The property manager is great to work with. However, the house needs renovation, it is dated and needs modernized. The second bedroom bed is too high for anyone with disabilities.

This cottage was exactly what we were looking for! This location is ideal - especially for that in-between ages like my kids. (ages 12 and 16). Tybee is a great neighborhood for allowing them some freedom to ride bikes, visit stores, get ice cream, go fishing on the pier...collect shells on the beach. Easy walking distance to great food, shops and flawless beaches.
It was the quintessential beach cottage with shabby-chic wood paneling, cute nautical touches and breezy screened in porch. We can't wait to return!

My husband and thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend. The cottage is small but very clean and fun with all the beachy decorations. The screened in front porch was enjoyable in the evenings too, I thought first that it may be less private but it was great! The location is the best, you could walk to the beach restaurants. We also rode our bikes throughout the quaint neighborhoods, certain roads were labeled for bicycles which made riding relaxing due to the lower volume of cars and the reduced speed limits. The weather couldn't have been better, not a cloud in the sky for the four days we were there. Highly recommend for 2 people!

We enjoyed our stay. Easy to walk to the beach and businesses. The cottage had most everything we needed, but we had to look around as the kitchen storage was not traditional. A couple of beach chairs for those of us flying in would have been a bonus, but rental chairs are available nearby. Overall a good experience.

The Greene Cottage was exactly what we were hoping for and more! It was clean, comfortable, and charming. The proximity to the beach was incredible. We loved that we could walk just about everywhere. The neighborhood was generally quiet and there were many special touches in the cottage. We would happily stay there again!

Location was on point, short distance to the beach and everywhere we wanted to go. Outdoor shower was an amazing plus so we didn’t have to worry about bringing sand all in the house. Not a negative comment, just a suggestion. If the couch had a pull out bed, could easily accommodate 2 more people. Will definitely come back.

The Greene Cottage is perfectly situated in a quiet neighborhood 2 blocks from the beach, shopping, and a few restaurants. The cottage is supplied with a good number of amenities: screened in porch, stand alone tub, outdoor shower and washer and dryer. We had wonderful stay in comfortable and nicely decorated surroundings. The artist’s palette mounted on the front door is a hint of the what awaits inside!

My family and I had had the most wonderful time in Tybee Island! We loved this place. It was walking distance to everything. We rented a golf cart but hardly used it since everything was so close. We are already planning for next year!

Prime location; just big enough for myself, wife and two grandchildren. Listing said beach towels but there none. Recommend renting a golf cart. The beach is the best.

No better to relax on a great screened front porch.
Very nice property! Myself, husband and sister stayed four nights and enjoyed every minute. Our goal was to truly unplug, the location and weather made that possible. I spend a few years in Savannah as a teenager (1970) and I was not disappointed on my return.. Thanks for everything.

Anniversary trip
My husband, sister, brother-in-law, and I stayed here on our recent trip to Tybee Island and Savannah to celebrate our respective anniversaries and the house was perfect! It was so cute, had everything we needed, and was in a great location. We were able to walk to the beach and restaurants, yet we appreciated being just off the main road so we didn't get any noise from the busy Memorial Day crowd. I would highly recommend this house and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
