Andrea was very helpful as we planned our Thanksgiving family stay at this beautiful cabin. She gave great recommendations on local restaurants! The property was spotless and well stocked which made for an effortless stay as we traveled from out of state. Plenty of room for togetherness but also space to spread out which was perfect for our family with three college age children! Highly recommend this stunning restful property.

Perfect Summer
Andrea is incredibly responsive and makes renting super easy. I wanted to head north where cooler summers reign and high vaccination rates prevail. Mission accomplished. I stayed over 5 weeks and was comfortable in a gorgeous wooded setting in a beautiful house that is fully equipped and tasteful. Easy access to hiking trails and interesting sites.

The house/cabin is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, everything top of the line and very comfortable, with all necessities provided except for food and drink. The house and property are very secluded and private; it felt very remote although it took only a few minutes to get into Londonderry or Weston. The house is surrounded on all sides by forest, with windows on all sides; we did not see or hear another person when in the house or on the property the entire five days we were there. The hostess Andrea was extremely responsive, helpful, and friendly when we asked any question. We like to cook and enjoyed the fully appointed kitchen, and we cooked over the outdoor fire pit one evening.
We stayed end of June, beginning of July, and Vermont was having unusually high temperatures for three of our five days there. We were so grateful for the window air conditioner and ceiling fan in the bedroom, and we slept wonderfully in spite of the heat. There are window a/c's in both bedrooms. And the beautifully finished off basement stayed naturally very cool during the whole heat wave; we watched TV down there very comfortably one evening when the living area was warm. We ate breakfast in the shady area in the backyard, where it was always cool with a nice breeze from the forest, even on the hottest days. All of this is just to say that the house and property were very comfortable in spite of the abnormally high temperatures.
Andrea had some great suggestions of places to go in her welcome letter. We took a beautiful hour and twenty minute hike around Lowell Lake and then swam in the lake. We also swam in Hapgood pond, which is 15 minutes from the cabin, twice. It is a very picturesque pond surrounded by forest with mountains in the background. There is a sand beach and sand bottom in the swimming area, with clear water where you can see to the bottom. (There are bathrooms and picnic areas, too, and a lovely one mile hike.) This was a godsend during the heatwave; we swam in the pond to cool off after our hikes. There are wonderful hiking trails all over the area, and anywhere we drove the views were spectacular on the way.
We definitely hope to return and stay in this luxury cabin in this gorgeous area of Vermont in the future!

Stayed with family of 4 adults and 4 kids. Had the most amazing time. Place is beautiful in and out. There are things that one can do, very close distance, or just stay in and enjoy the place. Truly peaceful and gorgeous. Owners are very hospitable and attentive. Always quick to respond, very helpful and supportive. Hope to repeat one day! Sooner than later. Beautiful cabin
The cabin was amazing. Very well thought out amenities inside such as nicely packed kindling upon arrival and an easy access entry system utilizing a lock code. The cabin was very well stocked with linens, towels, cooking utensils, firewood and coffee. We traveled with our 2 kids ( 2 1/2 and 1 year olds) along with our niece ( 2 1/2) and the place was very family friendly. Even had children's toys and activities. The host Andrea was super attentive and provided a welcome guide that answered all of our questions. Wifi was strong and easy to log on. Andrea was a great host who responded almost immediately. I look forward to staying there again it was an absolute pleasure. Hands down best place I’ve stayed after getting seasonal rentals in vermont for 15 years.

Christmas in Weston
Property was fantastic - quintessential Vermont log cabin which was cosy and modern inside. We - family of 4 including 2 teenage children - had lovely 4 night stay over Christmas. Very well equipped cabin. Bedrooms all good sizes with comfy beds. Beautiful log fire with more than ample supply of kindling and logs. Andrea was very responsive and made us very welcome - even to the extent of putting in a Christmas tree for our stay. Highly recommend and looking forward to heading back one day.

Beautiful and comfortable cabin in a quiet neighborhood
We had very comfortable stay in Andrea’s beautiful cabin. At the last minute we saw the listing of Andrea’s cabin in VRBO. She was very accommodating and responsive. Her cabin was very well built, clean, and full of thoughtful arrangements, in good combination with technology. All the instructions in the guest book are very clear and informative. We were able to make our breakfasts and dinners in the cabin, eating outside on the deck. Our kids, 9yo twins, love the little beds arrangement upstairs. It’s clean and practical throughout the cabin. We definitely are in love with the beautiful and sturdy cabin in the pines! Highly recommend it!!

Very Nice Getaway
The home was great! Nested quietly in the woods, it was a wonder spot to get away from it all, yet close enough to local attractions to be entertained. The house was well laid out and well appointed. The owners were very informative about the area and the home. We left a personal item behind upon check out and they were kind enough to have it shipped to us for a safe return. Perfect low key family vacation!
My family of five spent a week at the cabin and had one of the best vacations we have ever had. First the cabin is exactly as pictured. It is beautiful, comfortable and clean. The size was perfect! Small enough to be together as a family but with enough room to give everyone some space when they needed it. There is more than enough room for two families to share this space. We are talking about returning with my in-laws because we loved it so much!
Second, Andrea was a fantastic hostess. She answered every question so quickly! I asked for suggestions on activities in the area and I had a few questions about the property. Every time she answered within minutes. She was attentive and so very friendly.
Lastly, the cabin is located in the middle of so many fun, laid back and easy family adventures. The cabin is very private and up a mountain so it is not super close to anything, but that is exactly the way we like it! However, within a 5 to 20 minute drive there were plenty of activities to keep us busy from shopping and hiking to fun parks. We also made the drive to Norwich for a cooking class at King Arthur. I would highly suggest Bromley's Adventure park if you have younger children. My 13 year old loved it as much as my 7 year old. We spent an entire day there riding every ride as much as we wanted with no lines and plenty to do!
If you are considering this property, go for it! You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful summer week in the woods
We had a wonderful family summer getaway at the Cabin in the Pines. Everything about the house is in super condition, and the hosts were available and helpful with anything we needed. What sets this place apart were the small touches, like an active Netflix account ready to go on two TVs, fresh spring water, and a box of coffee pods for the Keurig, among other basic necessities. We truly felt like we were staying at a friend's house. The upstairs bedroom had sleeping nooks for the kids, which they loved, and made it possible for an adult (our sitter) to share that room as well. And lastly, the location is perfect for anything you want to do in central VT... shopping in Manchester, hiking at Okemo Mountain, Buttermilk Falls, etc. We hope to be back again!

Great weekend
Love the house and location. My wife and I went up for a long weekend and couldn’t be happier with the accommodations and Andreas suggestion on sites to see and places to eat. House was very clean and welcoming. The upstairs loft was great in the morning for a cup of coffee and watching nature. We have the same microwave at our house too! My wife was very excited with all the Mrs Meyers soaps, as that is all we use at our home as well.We made a fire and relaxed. Highly recommend staying here and I can’t wait to go back during ski season!

Beautiful cozy cabin! Our kids loved the fabulous built in beds, and we loved the fireplace at the end of a day of skiing. The kitchen was well equipped. The cabin is spotless and beautifully designed and decorated.

Great Cabin in the Woods
Our family stayed here for four days over Christmas and had a marvelous time. The house is beautiful and well equipped, it had everything we could need. There are two spacious bedrooms, one on the main level and one upstairs, each with a bathroom. My kids loved the built in bunks. The basement is being finished and has nice lounge area, with another gas fireplace and TV, which we did not use. We loved sitting by the fire and looking out to the snow. It is very close to multiple ski areas, and yet also very quiet and private setting up on the hillside. We found all our needs met nearby, and it was pleasantly out of the traffic and business of nearby Ludlow/Okemo area, which is only a short drive away. The roads to the house and drive were plowed quickly after the snows. All in all, a great vacation in a great setting. We would definitely recommend it to others.
