Lovely Large Home in Quiet Community with Nearby Amenities
Ti sentirai come a casa in questo "cottage" su 4 livelli splendidamente decorato nel cuore dei Monti Pocono. Godrai della pace e della tranquillità di questa casa di montagna quacchera di 100 anni costruita in un ambiente tranquillo della comunità con accesso a tante attività sul posto e nelle vicinanze. Ci sono diverse sale al piano principale per ospitare una famiglia numerosa o un piccolo gruppo, tra cui una biblioteca piena di una grande varietà di libri, un intimo salotto con camino, una sala da pranzo per 12 persone, un ampio soggiorno con camino, TV e giochi, una cucina ben attrezzata e abitabile e una grande veranda coperta che si affaccia su una tranquilla area boschiva. Una grande camera familiare con un jukebox si trova al piano inferiore. Un'ulteriore camera da letto, bagno e lavanderia sono a pochi passi di distanza.

We had such a great time with our three families. There were a lot of stuffs( for cooking) that owner let us use and enough towel,blankets and beds.
Elaine was kindly responded all the questions quickly. The place was very unique and interesting. I think we come back soon when we have a chance.

The house is lovely and very clean. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. We have two children, ages 6 and 3 years, and they really loved the cozy family room with comfy couch, large TV and gorgeous fireplace, where they enjoyed dueling piano and keyboard competitions all weekend. The house has lots of little surprises around every corner which is super exciting for children that age. There are a lot of antiques, but nothing to fussy where you have to worry about children breaking anything. I want to emphasize the cleanliness here, because many homes with old furniture seem dingy. The home is well stocked, so you really only need to purchase the food your family prefers. Will definitely stay again!

If you are thinking about spending time in the Pocono Mountains with friends or family, this is definitely a house worth renting. The home has character and charm with all the amenities you could possibly need. We loved the huge back porch with room for everyone as well as the large living room and for late night fun a basement with some games and an old school jukebox. Also want to say how nice the owner Elaine is. We already told her we will all be back again in the near future.

I booked this home for my yearly ski trip with my friends and family.
Positives: great location, very close to skiing and good food. There’s many beds and it is huge and can accommodate up to perhaps 18 people comfortably. Everything you may need is available. The Keurig machine was awesome for morning coffee!
Negatives: given that there is a cleaning fee, the place was definitely not clean: there was lots of clutter and dust everywhere. I understand it is a big house but I think it can be cleaned more thoroughly for the cleaning fee. Hot water runs out very quickly so all need to be mindful of time spent in the shower. The upstairs rooms get so hot when the heat is turned on that it is better to just have the heat off - the heater wounds like a waterfall or someone is taking a shower.
Overall it is not a bad place for the price. Parking can be a bit tricky if there is too many cars. Also be mindful if you are there in the winter- getting out of the car you may be walking on ice. There were a few almost falls during our time there.
