Great Sacandaga Lake House In Adirondacks
Casa costruita su misura di 2000 piedi quadrati con vista sul Grande Lago Sacandaga con 120 piedi di fronte al lago privato con dock. La casa è immacolata con 3 camere da letto (massimo 4 adulti e 4 bambini), due bagni completi, cucina gourmet e legno di pino prelevati dagli alberi proprio sulla proprietà. Il secondo livello ha una bella area vetrata con un tavolo da gioco che si affaccia sul lago. Può ospitare fino a quattro adulti e quattro bambini - camera da letto per bambini ha due letti a castello. Grande ponte avvolgente con vista sul lago.

Home was wonderful, kitchen well stocked. Nice quiet area. Would recommend even though we had to supply bed linens.

This is a beautiful home with a well-appointed kitchen, owners are very good at providing how to use the facilities. The house has no air Conditioning, it was very hot, it would be nice if at least fans were provided.The primary bedroom and bath are very roomy, however as noted in the 2021 review the bed is a major let down, it caves in the middle and feels unstable, definitely time for a new one! We did not sleep well all week. The lake is clean and inviting, but getting to it is a pain, literally, the rocks are painful to your feet on the way to the water and into it. The grounds area to the water is very boggy. The dock could use some work as well. BEWARE: Please be cognizant of the hot water! It is very hot; burning hot. In the ad on VRBO there are some errors; no cable/satellite; barbeque grill is unusable, rusty, dirty and flame is miniscule, we had planned grilling often but, were unable to, ran the grill for 20 mins, never went above 200 degrees. There are many reasons to stay here, just some care needs to happen in this home. We had a great time despite the issues.

The check-in was easy, communication with Mary Beth was great. The house was well stocked. We were there 12 days. We had a pick up a few things to restock, but that's not a problem. The climate in the house is good when the weather is good and could get sticky when the weather is not. We knew there was no air-conditioning so we brought 4 36 inch commercial fans.They helped. The house itself is great and very comfortable. roasting marshmallows and making s'mores at the fire pit was nice. The area down around the dock can be a little challenging if you're in your 70s(I survived getting to the boat a couple times a day). The views from the house are great. The lake is beautiful very quiet during the week and pretty damn quiet on the weekends, not a lot of traffic. We would stay again.

My family had an amazing time at this lovely home on the Sacandaga! The cool breezes through all of the windows, the lake noises, the spaciousness of all the rooms, access to the dock and the Adirondack feel of the house make it a very special place to stay!
