Nice enough but a few problems. 1. No sugar in house. 2. Both bedrooms had sliding doors with no shades or curtains, full moon and early morning sun. 3. Bedrooms shared one bath, the other bathroom is upstairs. 4. There are frying pans that don’t work on the induction cooktop. Should not be in the house, they are useless. Super quiet and nice views a plus. And close to town. Great walk in Fiscalini Ranch just north.

We truly enjoyed our stay, the house has stunning ocean views - beautiful sunrises & sunsets from almost every room in the house.
My recommendation is to the cleaning team: pls pay attention to the windows; my husband had to clear many spider webs from the dinning and kitchen windows.

We enjoyed a lovely weekend in this clean, comfortable rental with a gorgeous view! Extremely well stocked home. Only wish would be brighter lighting in the living & dining rooms to allow for evening games and reading. Breen was excellent in their communication and management.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this vacation rental. The views are amazing and the home accommodating. There were a few issues primarily related to cleaning & maintenance.. The living room rug was not vacuumed thoroughly as there was a wad of gum & debris under the coffee table. The upstairs bathroom sink was clogged & drained slowly.. There was no glass cleaner available to clean glass surfaces, I.e. glass dining table...One bathroom ran out of TP and we could not find any in the home. Also Property Management was difficult to contact. They need to answer their phone on a more consistent basis rather than leaving voice mails.Other than these minor issues, we really enjoyed our stay! In fact, this was one of our favorite rental homes in the Cambria area. We will Definitely rent again.

Our week was lovely...this home is a favorite for us. With all of the updates it seems close to a perfect rental. We greatly appreciated the updated kitchen. The new stove/ microwave are beautiful and very effectent. The appointments, dishes,glasses, utensils etc. are perfect. The addition of the new window coverings in living room and master bedroom are by far the very best improvement. This continues to be our favorite rental in Cambria. Our only suggestion is to continue with the window coverings in the guest room...one feels rather exposed with no shades. If the weather had been less gloomy we could have enjoyed the porch and bbq. Thank you again...

We enjoyed our stay at Best Ocean Views, which is aptly named. Loved hiking at Fiscalini Ranch, cooking meals together, watching the sunrise and sunset from the deck and exercising our energetic pup at the local dog park. Small but significant improvement would be the addition of blinds in the smaller bedroom. Early sunrise and a full moon made for a bright bedroom in the wee hours.

This house undeniably has beautiful views. We unfortunately didn’t get to enjoy much of them since there was a massive rain storm. There is some maintenance needed (windows missing screens, windows on the deck that don’t lock, windows that leak water during rain storms, window blinds that won’t retract), but the house was comfortable. Kitchen had plenty of dishes, glasses, and cutlery. Bathrooms were nice with good showers.

Love the house and location! You really can see the ocean from every room in the house. Although the AC isn't powerful enough to cool down the living room and loaf areas, we found that the ocean breeze works magic if the windows are open. However, during our stay we couldn't find shampoo in any of the showers. Not sure if it doesn't come with the reservation or it was forgotten, but it would be nice if it were included since this is the only place that we have stayed at before that doesn't provide shampoo. Additionally, be aware that there is an extra 3.5% charge for the balance of the booking (about 2/3 of the total payment) if you want to pay by credit card, which wasn't mentioned on VRBO before we made the reservation. Nevertheless, we had a great stay in this clean and comfy house and would recommend it if you travel to the area.

This is our third time renting a vacation home from Breen. We are very pleased with the places that we have visited. This property was very clean, well maintained, and well stocked. The property description was accurate however we missed the part about there being a permanent tenant on the property. The tenant was very quiet and did not bother us at all. The staff at Breen was available to us after hours and handled our call professionally. We have recommended this property already! We enjoyed walks at the Fiscalini Ranch reserve, many Cambria restaurants and nightly sunsets on the main deck! Thank You again Breen!

Another wonderful stay to enjoy the spacious beautiful home and exquisite sea view outside almost every window. On this visit, there were new window coverings, new stove and microwave and little updates everywhere. Very comfortable home, well-stocked for cooking and for comfort. Can't wait to return. This home is located in a beautiful part of Cambria. You get the best of the pines and the ocean. WiFi did not work, but I understand the WiFi equipment was upgraded after we left. Breen was very responsive in trying to get the WiFi working. The owner was very generous and compensated us for the loss of WiFi. My friends and I found this home comfortable and cozy. We would stay again.

The best ocean view is correct. Every night on the deck with the sunset. We were there 2 weeks and we spent so much time on the deck with meals, reading and just relaxing. The house was very comfortable and had all we needed. I especially liked all the books! The last morning at sunrise before we left as we watched the sunrise over the ocean in the east, we were given an extra treat of seeing the most gorgeous full moon setting over the ocean in the west Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay. This property has the best view of any property we have stayed at in Cambria. Location was perfect, close to the beach and trails but still a bit in the pines to give the forest feeling. The only Negative thing is that there is one bath downstairs and one up and both bedrooms are downstairs. But the extra loft was a plus

But it’s got some ‘tired issues.’ The blinds in master bedroom and living room are broken and take away from the lovely ambience. The microwave was very hard to navigate when it asks for ‘start’ button but THERE IS NO START button. The regular oven does not heat above 140 degrees. In spite of these frustrations we love the comfort of this home...we love the aha feeling every time we looked out the windows...we love the privacy of the home...love location...bed and linens very nice...comfy bed...lots of towels..very clean..we will return again I’m sure. We will rent again.

Awesome and peaceful house
We had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend at this wonderful
House. The house was located in a beautiful neighborhood in Cambria. Quiet, safe, peace, and charming neighborhood. The house has amazing ocean views from all 3 stories. We had 4 guests + our pups and we all had plenty of room to relax. We watched the sunsets, and walked the charming neighborhood to the beach. The house was clean and well stocked. Big bathrooms and comfy beds. Would love to come back! Great home! Great location!

You can even hear the waves
It really does have fabulous ocean views. Not only from the deck, where there is a full 180 degree view, but also from every single room in the house. You can do the dishes while watching the waves. Even though the house isn't that close to the water, given its location up the hill, you can hear the waves while sitting on the deck, or falling asleep. The house is well sized for 4 people, but probably would be tight for 6. The deck and dining room table comfortably sit 4, but not more. The appliances are very dated, but we grilled so it was fine. Note there is 1 bathroom upstairs on the main living area, and only 1 bathroom downstairs where the 2 bedrooms are located - so you'll be sharing a bathroom on that floor. Check in & out process is a bit of a pain. Who wants to have to go into town to pick up and drop off a key in an age of electronic keycodes?
