The property was more run down than in photos. I paid for 4 nights but left after 2 and took the loss to stay in another property on Ocean Drive. When I contacted the host due to issues with the TV (BR) and the inability to raise the temp I was deemed "a whiner" and asked "What is your problem?" rather than actually addressing the issues. My advice is RUN, do not walk away from this listing. I predict they will dismiss this review as easily and abusively as they dismissed my concerns.

We left after 5 hours, after hearing 3 gunshots...that was the topper after many many unacceptable items. Do read all of the reviews, I did not and it bit us hard!

Maintenance man walked in while we were asleep with no warning and didn’t even fix anything. rob and Val were very rude and unprofessional and said to our face that our problems didn’t matter and they would not help us at all and that we were lying. We got locked out of our room twice for hours at a time and had to fight for a new room. Will be contacting VRBO for my money back or any sort of compensation for the two days we lost of our trip trying to deal with these issues.

You cannot deny the location is awesome. However you will need to take in the night club noise from below. It is Miami Beach so embrace it

This place is great and is as advertised. The hitch is,,, it’s virtually connected to a bump in night club so noise even inside the apartment is significant, and heavy clubbing foot traffic around the property is very significant. I should also add that I found myself not to be a fan of South Beach, so with this place being at the epicenter of the South Beach scene means that your affinity level for South Beach may be a chief determining factor in staying here. If you LOVE South Beach,,, this is an awesome place!

this was the perfect location if you’re looking to have FUN! the beach is a short walk and there’s even a rooftop pool where you can have a drink. this was easily my favorite stay in miami and will be returning

Great location. Of course the music is LOUD but we enjoyed it. Great rooftop pool. Bed was comfortable, couch was not. Shower did not work. Just needed some upgrades.

Just left this horrible place early, booked on VRBO with Rob & Val Unit C-202. Complainants are 1. Mold & Mildew throughout the unit 2. Flushed the toilet on the first night and it overflowed all over the unit, called front desk and they said they couldn’t send someone until the morning 3. TV barely functional 4. Unit is on top of a night club that goes until 4-5am. 5. Unit has a horrible smell, had to buy a ton of air fresheners to stomach it. Highly recommend booking elsewhere.

Didnt take trash out didn’t sweep. 2 rolls of toilet paper for a full week. Above the club dance floor that doesn’t close till 2am. Monday-Sunday 10am till 2am. Had to hold the shower head with our hands. Everyone is welcome to the pool including people from the club. Can not ever bring drinks to the pool. Have to pay $25 a drink at the pool. No handles on the outside doors. Take 5 minutes to lock the door. No chairs outside yo site on. You can’t turn the tv on In the room unless you plug it in and unplug couldn’t even turn it up or down. Only thing that was good about the property is it’s location.

The manager stated that it was penthouse but it wasn't. Pictures made it look good but when we came in the couches were stained with cigarette burns. The bed was horrible and the mattress was old and wasn't comfortable at all. The shower had a knob falling off and the other knob for the shower head coming from the ceiling was hidden, plus the shower curtain was dirty. If you don't know any better once you turn the lock to lock the door it locks but when you turn to unlock the door it does not unlock. You have to put your finger in the hole as you push the door to push in the lock. One of the glass shelves was missing from above the kitchen sink and the table was missing a leg. The sliding doors for the bathroom was broken with no handles and no way to lock for privacy. The floor was dirty and there was no complete seal on the door so you smelled everything from the entrance. This place is not for people who want to relax and enjoy being in a "condo."

The place was dirty/gross. There wasn’t handles on some of the doors. At one point we got locked in and couldn’t get our door open until we had to use knife to get the deadbolt unstuck. Don’t even think about getting sleep since the drag show brunch sounds like it’s in your bedroom. You can find a lot nicer places in south beach that are close to the beach.

While we had a few issue with towel receiving and a plugged sink to start the Managment was excellent and quick in their responses. As listed this property. Noisy, as it sits right on top of a bar but you are in south beach people! Don’t stay here for peace or quiet! It does due down a bit after midnight so the noise didnt bother us at all not to mention you can see the show from the balcony. Roof top pool is awesome with drink service and you can even order food and have it delivered by the same noisy bar lolol go figure!

This place was exactly as described. It is above a night club that is super loud, but it did add to the fun of being in Miami Beach. Our kids enjoyed it. We felt safe, the place was clean and the staff was helpful when needed. We would definitely come back.

Great location. Room/building is OLD, don’t let the pictures fool you. It’s just trendy furniture. No ocean view like the listing stated. There was a safe in the room and we had to pay $150 for a locksmith to open the safe when it would not open. Property manager said it was our fault for using it and wouldn’t reimburse us. Bathroom door won’t close, shower is wonky, and the air conditioner will keep you up all night! But we were able to walk to everything!

It was a great stay and excellent location! My only complaint would be that the home was not its cleanest but the stay was still great! I would book through Vrbo again!

Overall I had a good time here the place looks nice, the furniture was a little worn but I like the fact that there was a balcony, and we were near everything. So would definitely visit here again..

Me and 3 others stayed here for 6 days. Great location and right on the beach. Everything was great except it was in a louder location which we didn't mind. Check in process was great and we were able to check in early. However, it was tough for us to get clean towels every few days as well as the place could have been a bit cleaner prior to arrival. It didn't smell that fresh and there was crusty chips on the floor under one of the futons. It didn't bother us that much because we were happy to be on vacation but if it was easier to get clean towels, and if the place was a bit cleaner I would have zero complaints. Other than that great location.

This was our first visit to South Beach. The Strand Property is located on Ocean Blvd. (across street from beach) in the loudest and wildest section of South Beach. Waking up to spectacular beauty each morning is over shadowed by the inability to sleep at night. The ceiling of the Club below was our floor. The electronic dance music did not stop until 2:00 - 3:00 AM every morning. The energy from the music rattled the lights in our condo from early evening onward. My wife and son (16 years) had a thoroughly enjoyable vacation in Miami but would not choose to stay in this property again.

We spent 3 nights in this unit in July. If you are sensitive to noise, this building is not for you (and the owners fully disclose this). There is a drag queen show that happens almost nightly in the restaurant directly below this building and can go quite late. This really only bothered us the first night. The unit itself is nice. We loved the tub. But the unit was inadequately cleaned prior to our arrival and the rooftop pool, while having a lovely view, was very cloudy (gross!) and badly maintained.

This is a great place - right across from the beach, the nightlife is all around you, and it was so easy to enjoy vacation there. We had a great time and would stay there again. There were a few minor issues with the place that resulted in 4 stars instead of 5, mostly just with the management of the property. When we got there, the floor was very dirty and resulted in the soles of our bare feet getting very very dirty. We asked, and then got, a prompt cleaning of the floors. There were 4 (I think) light bulbs throughout the space that should be replaced and one of the kitchen shelves was no longer mounted. We also either couldn't figure out how to get the dishwasher to run or it wasn't working correctly. Mostly we were using paper plates, so we just hand washed the rest. There was also a mixup with the custodial staff in that they had information showing us checking out on the wrong day - it wasn't our booking (not our name, not our dates) and they tried to get us to leave 2 times in under an hour, the second time very aggressively. We showed them our booking receipt on our phone and they still insisted we pack up and leave. They finally figured out whatever the problem was (I think I saw the dates on their phone showing a booking from 2017) and left us alone after that. I'm not sure what would have happened if we'd already gone off to the beach and they were convinced our reservation was up - somewhat worried our stuff would have just been gathered up and we'd have come back later to a locked room. Again these all appeared to be local management issues and we don't blame the host, but hope the minor problems get corrected as this is a wonderful spot to stay.

Awesome location, if you are okay with being around a lot of people. Rooftop pool is very nice and property grounds were in good shape.

the apartment is big, balcony. is uncared for maintenance. on the ground floor there is a room where they do shows up late at night and it's a little annoying for the rest.

I loved this condo! Checking in was a breeze and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I can't attest to the pool because when I was there it was too windy to go in or even sit on the rooftop deck for long. But what time I was able to spend up there, it was beautiful. The condo's deck was perfect for enjoying the view with some wine and cheese before heading out. The location was awesome and so close to so many good places for dining and drinks. If I ever go to South Beach again, I would definitely stay here!

My family and I visit Miami and stayed on Ocean Drive (South Beach), this condo was so perfect for me and my family. It was clean and in good conditions. The owners are so kind, just simply amazing people. I will be back with my girlfriends next year, but will rent a studio. The roof top beach was "BEAUTIFUL", and the view is to die for. Me and my girls came out for a girls trip, this location was amazing, disclaimer if you're looking for a peaceful place to relax and looking for quiet definitely not this place, this location is in the heart of Ocean Drive, so you're going to be around music and people who are out and about, it's a perfect spot to see and to be seen. The cleaning and staff were very accomadating and helpful with everything. I loved this place and had a blast thank you again
