Came down to stay while continuing our bourbon trail experience in Bardstown and it didn’t disappoint! Enjoyed the house and it was perfectly located for what we were doing! Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay in this cottage at Bardstown. It’s a perfect location for enjoying the light up Bardstown event. We walked all over town, shopped, and ate. So convenient!

I would highly recommend this property if you are looking to stay in Bardstown. It is within an easy walk of many restaurants. The neighbourhood felt very safe and it was quiet at night. Bed was comfortable with very nice bedding. The kitchen was fully stocked with extra coffee, snacks, dish soap, and everything you would need. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Margaret Sue's cottage is a perfect "home base" for a visit to Bardstown. We took advantage of the location being right in town. The market, literally 1 door down offers bourbon bottles that weren't avail at the distillery's themselves.
We were fortunate to walk in to the Talbott Tavern with the band Big Black Cadillac's playing. We dances for HOURS! So fun.
Cute shopping nearby and wonderful restaurants.
We would definitely stay again at this VRBO. It worked for our party of 4.
Again - can't beat the location to downtown and nearby distilleries.

Loved our stay. We loved all the details and personal touches that made it a warm happy place. The high ceilings make the spaces even bigger. Love all the antique pieces. Thank you for your charming oasis. It was a great refuge for a busy wonderful weekend!

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the cottage, and there was nothing that we lacked. The bathroom/shower wasn’t in a desirable location, but everything else was fine. We couldn’t have asked for a place any closer to downtown Bardstown—fabulous location!

Enjoyed the weekend so much and loved being able to walk everywhere in town. We tried most of Margaret’s dining suggestions and they were all very good. Loved the bakery! The cottage very clean and full of charm.

The was a very comfortable stay for our party of four adults. The cottage is nicely furnished and includes plenty of well thought out amenities. We particularly enjoyed the back patio - even though we were just a block from downtown, it seemed very secluded. Pretty much anyplace you would want to visit in downtown Bardstown is within a five minute walk.

We enjoyed our stay in Bardstown. The house is located within walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and shops. We enjoyed The Volstead Bourbon Lounge which is only about a 5 minute walk. Check out Toddy's liquor store for allocated bourbons which is about a minute walk away.
The house has a nice porch and outdoor area out back. The house was stocked with coffee, some bottles of water, and snacks - which was a nice touch. The only thing lacking for us was kitchen items - we like to cook about 50% of the time when we travel and the kitchen was lacking some basic items such as a large pot to cook pasta, sharp knives for cutting meat and potatoes, etc. but had a great selection of glasses.
The host is very responsive. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would book again next time in Bardstown.

Excellent property. You could tell the owner(s) put a lot of thought into the details to make this a very comfortable stay. The bed and linens were fantastic! Great backyard and patio. Easy walking distance to restaurants, bars, etc. I highly recommend staying here.

The cottage was beautiful and so cozy! It’s close to some really good restaurants (definitely try Bardstown Burger!) and cute shops, all within walking distance. I loved the tub and how much natural light there was in that room! My husband and I were so glad to find this quiet place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of our usual routine. Definitely recommend staying here!

The location of the house was an easy walk to restaurants and stores downtown. (Be sure to take advantage of the donut shop just down the street! Yum!) The front porch and back patio were great for enjoying our morning coffee or relaxing at the end of a busy day. The house was older than I thought it would be, therefore, it comes with things like slightly sloping floors, creaks, etc. but it wasn’t anything horrible and the property was VERY clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Bardstown and Bourbon tours
Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect! Pioneer Park Cottage was so cute and within walking distance of the quant downtown area. We walked to many restaurants, pubs, and little shops. We will definitely be back.
