The condo is in an amazing area. The place was nicely set up and the view was good. I was able to see from the balcony if the hot tubs were occupied before heading down with my 2 kids :) The kitchen was well stocked and there were lots of storage for clothing. Love the island dining table thingy as it worked as a kitchen island and also a dining table thus saving room! Cons were that the bedroom dresser drawers pull right off making it dangerous for children. They also needed wipe down before us. Some of the kitchen items needed to be washed before use (the baking tray had old cheese on it and the glass Tupperware had condensation inside), and atleast 1 of the bath towels had orangey stains on it. However, even with these downsides we would return. The property manager was very nice and communicative, the free parking was great, the location is wonderful, and overall me and my husband and kids (6 and 4) created lots of happy memories there.

We loved the Waikiki Banyan condo complex. It has an amazing 6th floor with a playground, pool, hot tub, tennis courts, barbecues and tables. Not to mention its a few blocks from the beach, restaurants (like my favorites Maguro spot, Five Star poke and Musubi cafe for delish cheap local eats) and to my conference at the Alohilani resort. The Waikiki Banyan was much better for families compared to a hotel. We loved having a separated room (by French doors), bathroom with a tub, and a kitchen! Plus there was plenty of pool/beach gear with new chairs and toys. They had a pack n play as well. We really enjoyed the welcome package of coffee, tea, and chocolates. Very thoughtful. Some feedback includes making it easier to contact before booking, though communication was much better when we arrived. One consideration to update the condo would be replacing the carpet which seemed worn. My parents rented another unit with wood flooring which was very nice. Maybe even consider a rug. Some blackout curtains because of the city lights could be an added benefit as well. Overall a great stay! Thanks again for our stay!

The location of the unit is located one block away from Waikiki beach. We were so happy to have free parking as parking can be quite a challenge. We had some concerns that the fold out mattress smelled of urine. Unit overall is well kept although would have been nice to have newer carpet as it was stained.

We LOVED our time there. Great location and views of the ocean and sunset and great location close to dining, beaches, etc.

I would highly recommend this place. It's very wonderful and just as explained in the vrbo app. We really enjoyed our stay here with our family of 5. Location was great and the parking pass was very helpful. The kitchen and amenities where just what we needed. Very nice pool area and barbecue area as well. Absolutely loved it. If we ever get the chance to come back we will stay here first if we can.

Theresa communicated well with us about check in and other issues. The place was as advertised and clean. Pleasantly surprised how comfortable the sofa bed was - usually they are a bit run down and lopsided. The mattress seemed new and it was comfortable memory foam. Location is great at the Banyan as always. Great stay!

its perfect!!.. great location, great place i would book it again

Our family of four had a great stay in this condo. We've stayed at the Banyan before, and this condo compares well to others we've had - it was modernised and clean with everything you need for a stay at the beach. Great location, close to beach, and being able to self-cater is great with kids (if you have a car or bus ticket, the Safeway supermarket up the road is good). Check in was very easy, they use a lock-box on the door. Good cable, wifi and also a carpark. Condo overlooks the pool (a decent size, with good BBQ area too) and out to Diamond Head, with a peak of the ocean. The pull out bed in the lounge is ok for two adults, but there is some roll-together so might be better for one adult or a couple of kids. We would definitely stay here again.

Our flight got in early and Rebecca arranged an early check in upon our request. She did not respond to a few messages before that request, but from that time on did respond quickly to all inquiries. The sleeping arrangements were as noted in the site. The airconditioner was in the main room, but it cooled the whole unit if you left the slider to the bedroom partially open - bring a mask if you like it dark. The unit itself was a bit dated, but it was functional. There were 2 beach chairs plus 2 higher chairs like the ones you’d have on the sidelines of a kid’s soccer game. There was no cooler or umbrella - that’s what the ABC store is for! The free parking was a definite plus. And the location was great - 2 blocks from the beach, long walk to Diamond Head, right off the main strip through Waikiki so a short walk gets you to every kind of restaurant and shop. The unit is on the 19th floor, which provided a great view. The elevators were hit or miss, 1 not in service, sometimes only 1 running and very crowded so you had to get on going up even if you were going down, just to make sure you had a spot. So there were some cons, thus the 4 stars, but we didn’t expect a luxurious penthouse. We wanted a place well-situated for trips to Kailua on one side and the north shore on the other and this fit the bill.

We had a wonderful time staying at the condo. It was comfortable and well maintained and the location was right in the middle of Waikiki. Everyone had plenty of space especially with the three beds. They had beach equipment for us to use. The parking permit saved us a lot of money for the rental car. The only downside was that the fan in the bathroom didn’t work, so we had to air dry our towels outside. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay! Rebecca was very responsive and helpful especially with the boogie boards and beach chairs.

conveniently located to everything. we could walk to beach and shops and restaurants. parking garage included was huge, huge bonus. lots of towels and kitchen was stocked with utensils to cook although no dishwasher. no good views. washer/dryer was not convenient - pricey and small so had to put in several loads and shared with rest of units on that floor. otherwise met our needs for 11 days.

We so enjoyed staying our Waikiki vacation . The unit was nice and clean and provided all the necessities we needed for our stay, even Beach towels! Also, we especially liked having two television sets a d a glass blender, availability of the cooking utensils and how pretty the unit was with recent renovations, Rebecca has been great in taking care of details and making sure we were happpy, Would definitely recommend this property. Unit was one Street away from beautiful Waikiki Beach, fantastic view of Diamond head crater, many restaurants walking distance!

This apartment is gorgeous! It offers a spectacular view on Diamond Head and is only one street away from Waikiki beach. The flat and especially the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you can wish for. The apartment is located in the 19th floor of the Waikiki Banyan Hotel. It is clean and cozy and easily fits 2-4 people. On top of that you have a great choice to use the variety of Hotel facilities like the swimming pool, hot tub, Tennis court, gym, BBQ, etc. We can highly recommend this place!

Great location only minutes to the beach, zoo, aquarium and Diamond Head. The pool deck is awsome, most of the day it is in the sun. The condo is well maintained and clean with everything you would need to prepare a meal if you choose to. If not there is many places to choose from to eat out close by. Laundry facilitys is just down the hall. The city bus, shuttle bus are steps away from the entrance on Kuhio. You can book all your activities at the front desk they are very helpfull. We have gone to 2 different luaus, hiked Diamond head, went to the zoo, pearl harbor tour, circle island tour and many evening walks and enjoyed everything. Would recommend staying here to all our family and friends.

Started vacationing on Oahu 24 years ago, and about 10 years ago we thought we would go the condo route, we were lucky to pick this place, the owner is great to work with, the property is updated and charming and improvements have been implemented every year, I almost hate to give a great review because this place is a gem and it's getting harder for us repeat renters to get in, do yourself a favour, if you get the chance to vacation on Waikiki stay here it's reasonable, it's clean, it's quiet, and it's heads and tails above staying in a hotel.
