I rented this house for my husband and I and our kids and grandkids for a family reunion. We fit 5 adults comfortably; 4 of the 5 grandkids bunked in the west bedroom (not facing the lake) bedroom and the 20 month old stayed in the same room as his parents. The deck and view are just everything! We sat outside every night, talking and sipping wine. Saw a spectacular moonrise one night! The room off the kitchen we used as a playroom for the kids and it worked out well. The comfortable living room and big table - all with that amazing lake view - made hanging out together at night a pleasure. Plenty of bathrooms and loved that there was some laundry soap to use. Wish there had been body wash, shampoo and conditioner, that was really the only downfall. We used Onanda park for our family reunion, and it is just 5 minutes away, so super convenient. Swam there every day! Mike is a very responsive host and easy to get a hold of. You'll love staying here!

Although the house is nice and the view is incredible, the downstairs shower has NO HOT WATER. I must complain about this because when organizing a vacation, bathrooms are essential. The owners did help with this issue nor are they offering any compensation for lack of accuracy. Also, the dishwasher does not work. Due to the communication and apathy of the owners, I do not recommend this place. I also believe VRBO should ask for paperwork guaranteeing that the downstairs shower and dishwasher are fixed. I have been led to believe that the owners do not think these issues are essential.

Our family loved this house and its location. It sits above the lake on the west side providing spectacular views. The house was modern and secluded from neighbors without being isolated from everything, and all amenities were provided. Mike was a great host and answered all of our questions. Mike also runs a boating business on the lake in his off time and we had a fantastic afternoon on the lake with Mike on his boat learning to wake surf. Well, the boys learned to wake surf and the adults mostly learned we are not that young anymore! Canandaigua town is about 10-15 minutes away which allowed us to get take-out food relatively easily. We also went to nearby Bristol Mountain and went down the zipline course which was a blast. There were some areas of the house that were undergoing renovation improvements, but they had no impact on our stay. At the time of our visit, the tap water was not drinkable due to the well water system, so we had to go buy our drinking water which was unexpected. We were told that there are plans to correct this in the near future. We highly recommend this house to families who want a quiet place in the Finger Lakes to venture out and enjoy the area.

Great house amazing view we had a blast!

A group of friends and I rented this house for a long weekend - all anyone could talk about was how beautiful the view was from the deck. The house does use well water, which doesn’t smell the best, but that was the only downside. There was a ton of space for everyone to sleep and hang out without feeling cramped. Everyone said they would 100% stay here again.

We had a wonderful weekend at this house. The view is breathtaking!! Driveway is a climb but manageable. Only drawback was that the house is on well water so the sulfur was a little much but wouldn’t stop me from staying again!

We had a great time at the house. The view was incredible and the house was clean. Plenty of room for our large group, with ample deck and yard space for the little ones to play. Plus, an absolutely stunning fire fly display each evening. Great location. Would stay again.

We rented the house for a girls weekend to celebrate my daughter's upcoming wedding and it was perfect!!!!! The home is beautifully decorated! It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, kitchen appliances and utensils were plentiful, close to wineries/breweries/store, and the owners were VERY accommodating!!!!! Thank you again Mike!!!!

The area was very safe and there was a cute winery right down the road. We would definitely stay at Mike's place next time we're in the Finger Lakes!

The location and the spaciousness of the home was great. The view from the huge deck was awesome. However, the house was the owner's primary residence with a surplus of their personal belonging throughout. Cleanliness was an issue as it was only superficially cleaned- dog hair etc was under the furniture and pots and pans and dishes were grimy. The water comes from a well and has that rotten egg smell, and the outdoor grill was old and rusted, and all appliances really need replacing.

All the comforts of home. Glad we made the choice to stay here for our annual color tour, very comfortable, clean & homie. Thank you, Ann

Stayed here recently for my bachelorette party with my girlfriends. Mike's house is perfectly located near many of the wineries; our limo picked us right up from his house which made things so much easier. The only negative to this place was that Ubers and delivery services are difficult to get because it is a rural area (understandable!!). Would love to stay here again! Mike was a gracious, easy-going host who made our stay easy and comfortable. Loved the views and the cleanliness of the house---and his dog! Recommend to anyone :)

Nice family friendly layout with over the top amenities. We had a wedding at Bristol Harbor, which was super convenient! Would highly recommend this home!

We had a very nice time staying here for our vacation. Mike was very easy to reach when we had any questions and respected our privacy. His place was very clean and peaceful. We enjoyed our time there very much.

Mike was SUPER accommodating during our short stay. He is very responsive and willing to help with anything you need!! We really enjoyed our stay and are grateful we found this gem of a home!!
