Wiped down surfaces with disenfecting cloths which were filthy by the time we was done.
No stopper in sink..
Nice fridge freezer.
Nice yard and plenty of chairs to sit in along the marina.

The unit is a renovated small motel room, one of approximately 50-75(?) in a former wing of the adjacent Ramada Inn. Owner had good intentions but poor taste. Furniture is too large, making it seem even smaller. Lots of rules, few amenities. There is a very good Tiki bar/restaurant next door and a nice, large, very cold unheated pool. Nice wharf ambiance.

Couple of palmetto bugs got inside, seemed to happen when construction was happening. Older furnishings but functional. Door lock was very finicky, had to swipe card several times to gain entry. Boat rental place never called us back. Property is in airport's flight path, so be ready for low flying jets. Local bar crowd made it fun.

Outside area overlooking marina was best feature. Property is in need of renovations. Unit was not very clean and had a bad odor.

The unit is in Desperate need of some small repairs and new bedding. Shower drain clog’s, towel rack falls down, dresser drawers are broken but we love this place anyways. Price can’t be beat!

We were looking for clean and affordable but this is what we got: 1) the shower did not drain well and left you showering in standing water 2) toilet was stopped up and not repaired until day 2 after notification (and yes, we called the number and no one answered and then walked to the Ramada to ask for assistance and then called your number listed again) 3) this is a hotel room not a studio 4) it took until day 3 to figure out the shower was put in upside down. Freezing cold position and if someone else uses the water you lose the hot during your shower. 5) We asked for clean linens and we never received them.

They was doing construction the entire stay making all kinds of noise when we just wanted piece and quite.The towel rack by sink was falling off the wall when we checked in.I enjoyed the pool but that was about it.

I was hesitant to rent this property after reading mixed reviews. As a older, single woman traveling alone, safety is a concern. I loved the atmosphere of the place - it was vibrant and fun, but definitely not quiet. Between the boats in the harbor, the tiki bar and swimming pool things were always humming. The room was nice, although not luxurious. The bed was comfortable, but the shower was horrible as it had no water pressure and the handle is on backwards so hot water is when you first barely move the handle and cold is all the way on. Because of this, I didn't think I had hot water at all. I tried to call the live in caretaker and got no response. Finally called the owner and it turns out the caretaker is no longer available even though the welcome letter from VRBO gave his name and phone number as the contact. Thats the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I would definitely reserve this room again if I was in the area.

It smelled very musty, was very outdated, no warm water for showers, floor seemed greasy, toothpaste in the sink, mold in the frig. We left and got a very nice room at a Quality Inn.

The neighborhood seemed sketchy at best. The next day we had plans. When we got back we were given our VRBO room. It smelled very musty, was very outdated, no warm water for showers, floor seemed greasy, toothpaste in the sink, mold in the frig. We left and got a very nice room at a Quality Inn.

The place makes me very uncomfortable. I had to check out a day early. The linen is kinda old and the fabric was not smooth. It gives me itch for the whole night. The lights are so dim in the room and makes the whole environment very creepy. No hot water at all. Ants crawling around.

FL vacation
Only issues were outside the host's control - Our first night there a band was playing in the lounge. They were so loud they kept us awake until they were done, which was 11:00. The Bradenton Sarasota airport is also nearby, and the hotel is on the flight path. The host has a manager available on the property to handle any issues. We had no issues, but it's nice to know there's someone there to address anything that comes up.

The property was as expected. The music from the bar on Saturday night was a bit loud but ended around midnight. I had a little trouble with the water temperature in the shower. Over all a good value.

My friends booked the hotel portion of the Ramada, when we entered their room, it was modernized, ours was not. The base of the toilet was looking dirty, with pee drips, to which I took pictures. When I sat on toilet… there was a pin hole in the ceiling above, to which I got some drips on me. Hopefully it wasn’t a toilet leak from the room above.
What my friends and I observed on the premises with the rooms to either sides of us with people actually living there, apparently year round was very sketchy. Different individuals going in and out, you can only imagine made us uncomfortable. Overall we made it work, as we were there to look around Sarasota up-to to Clearwater and surrounding towns and beaches. Oh and the Laundry unit was out of order! Restaurant portion was nice, which was located on the Marina side.

Great Hospitality, real nice spot!
We had a very pleasant stay, accommodations were great! Food great, pool super clean and people were very friendly! Sunsets were amazing too.!!!Property manager Todd was a pleasure to deal with! We had I highly recommend anyone trying to get a great taste of Sarasota saltwater life, to stay at this special location!

Wonderful property. Coffee every morning with the tarpon and mullets, cocktails every night at the tiki bar. Kind of it's own little community...never have to leave the property if you don't want to. I work remotely and this property was ideal! Hope to return soon.
