Stayed here recently and had a wonderful time. The villa sits in a quiet village setting just off the Colombo main road, so you get the peaceful side of Hikkaduwa without losing convenience — a supermarket, liquor store and ATM are all within easy reach, and catching a bus or tuk-tuk from the main road is no trouble at all.
The place is clean, comfortable and well looked after, and the hosts were welcoming and helpful throughout. If you want somewhere calm to relax but still close to everything Hikkaduwa has to offer, this is a great choice. Highly recommended — I'd happily stay again.
