Owner was very thoughtful in providing all things most guests would need. Trader Joe’s brand products (hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash). Plenty of books accommodating kids and adults. Lots of DVDs to meet interests of all ages. A variety of board games were available as well. Five bedrooms allowed our five guests to each have their own room, two of which are en-suites… one on the main floor and one on the second floor. The third floor with the ping pong table was a huge hit! Location for us worked well. Loved the Castro District and walking to Muni stops was reasonable in distance for our group. San Francisco is a VERY hilly city. The home is located in an inclined area. If you are someone choosing to walk locally for breakfast (do recommend), etc., please know you will be walking uphill to the home. It was not an issue for our group, but those with restricted mobility need to be aware.Our group slept better here than any hotel. Due to the cooler San Francisco climate, this home is not air conditioned, but ceiling fans, box fans, and opening windows can cool the home effectively and efficiently.Loved staying here and would recommend it. Host is very responsive and helpful. Would stay here again without hesitation!

Beautiful home and great location. Perfect for large groups and plenty of space to spread out. Sharon was a great host and helped us with any questions we had a long the way. I would gladly stay in her home again on future trips to San Francisco.

Such a lovely home that is not only clean and comfortable but beautifully decorated. It is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood with plenty of street parking. Great location for getting to many popular San Francisco sites, and an easy walk to grocery store and restaurants.The communication with the host, Sharon, is beyond exceptional! Sharon responds quickly to any inquiries and concerns. It is obvious that Sharon really cares and wants to please her guests so you have a wonderful stay.This was the perfect home for my family who were in town for my daughter’s wedding. Sharon allowed us to drop off our luggage before the check-in time, so we could go enjoy lunch without having to worry about visible luggage in our car. My family thoroughly enjoyed or stay, and would definitely love to stay here again.

The house is beautiful and sleeps 10 - 15 depending on if people are sharing rooms or not. The top floor has a pull out and a futon which worked out well for our group. It was a great house with a great location. My only critique is that I felt anxious during my stay. The owner reached out before confirming my stay to let me know "there were no parties allowed", which was confusing because I have 13 folks staying here so is that a party or what do you mean? And then the week of my arrival she tells me that if I move any furniture, even within the room, it's like a $300 charge. I really didn't feel like I could fully enjoy myself because I was constantly worried about whether I was making too much noise at night or if someone had unintentionally moved any furniture around resulting in extra charges. The owner was highly communicative, which is better than surprise charges but I could have paid a fraction of the price at a hotel and not been worried about extra charges for noise or out of place chairs. Just had me thinking "what am I really paying for"? I would still recommend the house because it is beautiful and well placed. Just know that it comes with an anxious owner.
