Quiet secluded log cabin; the cabin is part of a 37 acre waterfront complex.
17 cabine individuali e separate condividono la superficie e 1500 piedi di lungomare (la nostra è @ alla fine di una strada, piuttosto privata e senza macchine che guidano!). Bellissimi sentieri per escursioni a piedi o in mountain bike e racchette da neve invernali. Il complesso è su Goose Pond (che collega a 900 acri di Mousam Lake) - il nostro molo è ideale per nuotare, pescare, andare in kayak, praticare il paddle boarding, ecc. Due kayak sono forniti per il vostro divertimento su Goose Pond e Mousam Lake!La cabina ha una camera da letto con letto matrimoniale, 2 camere da letto soppalco, ognuna con 2 letti singoli, soggiorno con TV satellitare, ampia cucina, sala da pranzo di dimensioni complete, bagno completo (doccia), e ampio sole vetro / schermo in veranda con salotto e zona pranzo - con bella vista di Kettle Pond e boschi circostanti. Shapleigh è una piccola città tranquilla, ma a soli 15 minuti. a tutte le tue esigenze di acquisto.

This is a charming little cabin in the woods on a lake, beautifully furnished and with every convenience! Our family had a fantastic vacation here, we couldn’t have asked for more. The hosts were available and wonderful!!!

This was a lovely cabin. We had a wonderful time and really got to relax. Facts: 1. Secluded, as it was listed and which is what we were looking for, it was not. There's a cabin about 10 steps away and another on the other side of it. The kitchen and side windows both look directly at their bedroom. No one was there for the week we were, and we're so thankful for that! 2. Internet is slow, which made streaming difficult. 3. In the listing, the hosts talk about the lake, community, and "our dock." We definitely read it as theirs (as if speaking in the first person). It is not; it's the community's. You have to drive or walk around on the road or through the woods on a little trail. They have no direct access to the lake. 4. There's no community trash dumpster. You have to take your trash to the transfer station, on Tuesday and/or Thursday, if you need to throw it out. Observations and Preferences1. No microwave. Sucks when you eat out and have leftovers. We made do, just something to be aware of. 2. Light switch in the bedroom had to be figured out. We didn't realize until the first wakeup that my phone was plugged into the outlet for the switch. It's on the other side of the room at the head of the bed. 3. That sunset is directly into the house through the sunroom deck. Beautiful, but blinding. No curtains or shades made it impossible to enjoy sitting there.

The cabin is adorable; tastefully decorated and includes all the comforts of home. It is situated in a peaceful area, overlooking a quiet pond and typical Maine woods. Perfect for a relaxing vacation.
