Apartment was upstairs and spacious. Well equipped. Rooftop outside space was up another flight of stairs.
Rooftop space was shared and it wasn't clear which you could use.
Biggest issue was noise from deliveries early in the morning every day. The apartment is directly above a Spar shop which was the reason for most of the delivery wagons. But it was very handy for groceries too.

The host was super helpful and gave great recommendations on restaurants in the area. The apartment has all facilities that you might need during a short term stay. Location is great! A big Spar and restaurants, nice little shops plus a breathtaking beach view is right at your doorstep. Living room is very comfy, there is enough space for 4 people. Kitchen is well-equipped even for cooking.
Mattresses and bathroom a bit worn out, no bathroom ventillation.
Not the host's fault but there are some bad, random noises coming from the wall and each morning truck is delivering stocks for the supermarket downstairs, right under the bedrooms' windows. In low season (mid-March) we did not hear any noise from the street but due to the nearby restaurants might get loud in high season.

A lovely, centrally located base to explore all that El Cotillo has to offer. The apartment was well appointed and clean with great views from the roof terrace. Very friendly and attentive host.
The only downside to the central location was that it was a little noisy, particularly first thing when restaurants/bars were having deliveries. Not a big deal though.

The apartment and location are very nice, lots of space, nice kitchen, simple and clean, comfortable beds. This is the part of El Cotillo we love but all of El Cotillo is great. The host was very friendly. Very convenient SPAR shop downstairs and the best restaurant in El Cotillo the Olivo Corso just at your door.
Small, very small minus for morning noise from the SPAR deliveries. There is all over construction work going on in El Cotillo right now so it could be much worse.

day. There was some noise in the mornings due to the bins outside."
