The cottage was well-equipped, very clean and had high-end bed/appliances. The two outdoor porches were great for relaxing on and just watching the birds and people. The cottage is small, including the shower, but smartly designed. With hooks on walls to hang clothes, we had plenty of storage space for a week. It's about a 3-5 minute walk to the main square. We loved the location, a couple houses over from the Truman house. Parking was easy peasy. My biggest gripe is a Seaside issue, rather than this cottage, but check-out of 10a is cruel. And it's not the standard time in other places (11-12). But it seems to be some weirdo standard imposed in Seaside that seems not to consider the guest but instead staffing. We arrived well after dark and had a hard time finding our cottage, as in a 15-minute scout around. We had the after hours person, John, on the phone who was trying to lead us. He was extremely helpful. The management company's texting system is slow to non existent. They answered about 1/3 of the time. It's best to call.

The only complaint is that we could have used more help with our luggage when checking in & out. We were moving & on a road trip so we had more than usual. I might also suggest a little wagon to pull luggage down the dirt trails. We had a great time!!

Reviewer Comments:
Walked in and has slapped in the face with Pine Sol smell, which we found was used to try to cover the mildew smell. This house has moisture issues that needs to be addressed. Shower curtain had some pink algae and the shower ceiling and some grout was moldy. The couch downstairs had a faint smell of urine. Other than that, the location was great. I wouldn't recommend if you have trouble climbing steps, as this is a tight spiral upstairs. Balcony upstairs was nice but no place to sit. Downstairs benches outside were dirty to sit on.
