Bar shuts at 7-8 pm No availability for in house guest dinner yesterday, cramped parking, cars parked under by room door blocking the path… and we were in the top suite…

Great location a 5 minute walk from the Cala dell’Aquaviva beach, 5 minutes walk from Fico beach club (which the hotel is affiliated with) and about a 20 minute walk into the town of Castro. Beautiful grounds with a lovely outdoor area with a pool and hot tub overlooking trees with the sea in the distance. There is also a small outdoor gym area, a playground and plenty of parking. Also some of the rooms (not standard) have their own roof decks with sun loungers with views out to the sea. Highly skilled, friendly and accommodating staff. All of the staff were very helpful and made our stay really lovely, especially Diana, Salvatore and the hotel manager. The hotel room was simple, yet stylish with everything you could need during your stay (air con, heated towel rail, minibar, hairdryer, toiletries, TV, large shower, small terrace outside, etc.) The hotel restaurant has a great view across to the sea and offered a delicious breakfast with some cold buffet items and warm items cooked to order. We also had dinner there a couple of nights during our stay and the food was nice and very fresh. Overall we had a really enjoyable stay at the hotel, it was good value for money and I would recommend it.

The pool bar food menu was a bit limited.

We spent 12 fantastic days at the Marenea Suite Hotel. The rooms are stylish, spacious and impeccable; the pool area is top notch, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Location wise, it couldn’t be any better — an hour from Brindisi Airport, and just 45 mins drive from Pescoluse (best beach in Salento) in the south and ‘northernly’ hotspots such as Lecce and Otranto.

The breakfast spread is limited at times, but even that is a reach. We will definitely come back to this hotel!
