Upon arrival the door code we received that morning didn’t work. We had travelled a long distance and arrived at 8 pm. it took an eventual call in the dark to be told, “ Didn’t you get the new code?” Of course we hadn’t since it was never sent. Tough way to start for two seniors. For our departure we had requested an extra half hour, 11:30 rather than 11AM. The owner agreed. However at 10:58 a very aggressive cleaning lady pounded on the door and said, “You need to leave by 11”. I explained we had been given until 11:30. She didn’t accept this and started to tell me about another guest needed to get into the unit. I called the managerand the owner. They agreed we had until 11:30 But neither really took ownership! This was extremely distressing to us for the second time.It is a shame that we had these issues since the unit matches the VRBO listing. Communication needs serious improvement.
