Arrived to attend my brother-in-law's wedding and spent 3days at the rental. Accommodations were as advertised with a short walk to the beach. Neighborhood was quiet, loved the fenced in back yard for the dog, furniture was comfortable, thought the queen size bed was a little to firm for us. Overall I would highly recommend Salty Paws for your next stay on Tybee Island.

Brief Visit
Arrived to attend my brother-in-law's wedding and spent 3days at the rental. Accommodations were as advertised with a short walk to the beach. Neighborhood was quiet, loved the fenced in back yard for the dog, furniture was comfortable, thought the queen size bed was a little to firm for us. Overall I would highly recommend Salty Paws for your next stay on Tybee Island.

This sweet little house had everything we needed. Just enough room for the 5 of us. Well stocked kitchen, very clean. Nicely updated bathroom. Easy walk to the beach, grocery store, shops and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. The backyard was a great spot sit and relax. Would definitely rent Salty Paws again!

This sweet little house had everything we needed. Just enough room for the 5 of us. Well stocked kitchen, very clean. Nicely updated bathroom. Easy walk to the beach, grocery store, shops and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. The backyard was a great spot sit and relax. Would definitely rent Salty Paws again!

Perfect island getaway. Nice property. Walking distance to beach. Not a ton of extra space … just small and quaint. Exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay at Salty Paws again.

Only complaint is that the bed was a bit uncomfortable, but I slept just fine. All in all, its a great little getaway that serves as a superior alternative to any of the local hotels.

I would have given this place a 5 star rating, except the bed in the master bedroom was simply horrible. The box springs were severely wobbly and the mattress had zero give. For the first time in my life I had back issues in the morning. I ended up using the hide a bed which was a significant improvement. I hate leaving a negative comment ...but unfortunately, the bed was horrible. On the plus side, everything else was good. Kitchen was well stocked, adequate room, super clean.

There’s a reason...
I would have given this place a 5 star rating, except the bed in the master bedroom was simply horrible. The box springs were severely wobbly and the mattress had zero give. A lovely little cottage for my toddler, my pups, and myself. Very neat and clean. Has everything you need for a home away from home. Quiet area. Thermostat doesn’t go below 70F (but there is an oscillating fan) and the front door does not lock from the inside. It locks automatically when the door shuts and is accessed with a code from the outside. The lock is secure from the outside but the latch is easily opened from the inside by a two year old. The only place we ate from was Tybee Island Pizza and I can’t recommend. It was a lovely place for a weekend getaway!

We had a great time in Tybee Island! The location was fabulous as it's a very short walk to the beach. We rented a golf cart and was able to use all the back roads to and from the house, as well as exploring the island. We had 2 adults and a 2 year old and the space was very adequate. Would stay again!

We had a great time in Tybee Island! The location was fabulous as it's a very short walk to the beach. Quiet and clean place , close to the beach, could have used more outlets in the house but we did fine!!! The food we ate was good, Tybee Island Pizza, great visit with Patty at Sting Ray Seafood,loved the beach!!!

Nice house overall / beds really really bad
The master bed was on on odd frame that shook and wobbled with the slightest move. The mattress was really bad ( super hard) to top it off. Wife slep on the bed husband slep in the pull out sofa. Pullout was , well, a pull out we were both exhausted after the week of really poor sleep😩� a bed costs so little and is so important. Good grief buy a bed frame and a mattress please.

November 2016 Stay
Great place but floor was filthy when we got there. Walking around barefoot inside left the bottoms of our feet black! When I tried to locate a mop, I found a dirty mop in the closet. That was my only complaint. Realty company went out of their way to assist us and to help us with our needs. We would stay there again.

Salty Paws is the perfect beach headquarters. Walk to the marsh, the beach, A.J.’s Dockside, Tybee Social Club and more. The screened in porch is where we spent a lot of time when “home” and the dogs loved the yard.

Salty Paws was a quaint little cottage. The communication with TVR was the best possible. The “welcome” gift tote and wine were a nice surprise. The cottage was small but comfortable.
