Beautiful condo walking distance to everything. Perfect location!! All the amenities you desire are available at this property. Highly recommend.

The property was the perfect place for a long weekend stay with family and friends. The space was great and really easy walk to the Palisades village and lifts. We would love to rent this property again.

Condo was beautiful, very well kept, and much bigger than it looks in the pictures. The unit is a short walk to the Palisades base. Unit was very clean and spacious; felt just like home! The complex's two hot tubs was a highlight of the trip. One hot tub easily fit 15 people!
The check-in process on the other hand was the lowlight. Check-in instructions did not detail where the key box was located. Once we found the key box, the key inside of it did not work due to some recent policy changes of the complex. The big issue was the complex front desk wouldn't issue us another key without sign off from the host and it took many layers of Vacasa middlemen to get in touch with the local manager. I will say, once we got in touch with the local manager, he was very helpful and we were able to get a key. This process did take 1.5h though.
All-in-all, I would stay here again, but hope check-in can be improved to only take 15m or less.

Overall the property was incredible and great location. Our only complaint was the check in process and communication. The addresses provided are apparently outdated as they have updated addresses in the area but the address sent when clicked on in Apple Maps, takes you to a different property nearly 2 miles away. When you google the address it comes up with a completely different addrsss for the location which made it slightly confusing to try and find the place to check in. With it being managed by a vacation rental company it was nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone to figure out where to go. Other than that slight issue, everything was great.

The place is really nice and clean and well kept. There’s a fantastic sauna and hot tub and weight room with a great selection of equipment. I took off a star because it’s really not ski in and out although it’s super close. Also, we asked for a late checkout on Sunday Mother’s Day. No one was coming next and I doubt the cleaners were as well. It would’ve been really easy and nice for them to allow us to check out past 10. They have zero flexibility. Also, keep in mind that the place has absolutely no kitchen food stuff. No spices, no condiments, nothing. Fully equipped kitchen but requires that you bring absolutely everything with you.

This place was very nice and very clean. It was very well stocked with kitchen tool necessities for cooking. Easy access to the village and all the outdoor amenities. Our family had a great time on our vacation.

The condo was very clean and quiet. Has a full kitchen, laundry room, and two bedrooms separated by a large open living room with fireplace. It has a small deck and there is private parking under the unit.

Trip with adult children
Very nice and comfortable condo. Close to Squaw Village. We enjoyed our stay. Note: no air conditioning and the owner on floor above were noisy with kids and dogs.

Great place for a weekend away
Location location location. We were here for the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Race and the location couldn't have been better. In addition, the layout of the condo and amenities were exactly what we had hoped. Highly recommend!

We will never book with any property that uses Vacasa Property Management again. The property itself (one we finally were able to get in), was lovely - but our experience was horrible.
Check-in was at 4pm. I arrived with our family (including a three year old) at 4pm. The property was filthy. Urine in the toilet, brown "stuff" on the floor in the kitchen, linens and dirty towels piled up, and sticky dining table. I called Vacasa and was told someone would call in 15 minutes. No call received. I called back - was put on hold for nearly 20 minutes. The representative came back on the phone and thought I was the manager. She then realized the error and put me back on hold. I hung up after a time, and called again.
Meanwhile - its after 5pm, we're in the parking lot - cold, hungry, and have not used a restroom since 1pm. I'm worried about my three year old - and have no idea where we'll stay for the night.
I found another studio to book (not through Vacasa - but as a “walk in”) - as I'm beginning to panic. The Vacasa rep I finally speak with, hearing my tears and worry - encourages me to go ahead and book the other room, since they have no idea when the initial property would be ready.
We move in after 6pm. My 3 year old is a mess, as am I.
It is my understanding that with COVID - properties are supposed to be cleaned and them left empty for a time... this was NOT the case with Vacasa at all.
We move in to the original property the next day at 11am. My husband loses three hours of skiing since we have to move all of our stuff again into another room.
Once inside - we discover that none of the key cards work (other than the "back up" from the garage). Additionally the fire alarm is beeping.
I call Vacasa again. The rep asks me what kind of battery the alarm takes, and if there's a ladder around. I was VERY frustrated. I go for a walk with my kid to go play in the snow - and get a call to meet the maintenance man in an hour. We walk back and he's not there. He calls 20 mins after our scheduled meeting time to see if we are in the room yet.
When he arrives - he brings batteries that my husband ultimately installs.
The key cards were never dealt with. We just used the "backup".
I was told I would receive some sort of reimbursement/refund - but NEVER did. I've contacted Vacasa multiple times - and no one replies. I wrote a review - it was not posted. I am reporting to BBB.

We had to cut our stay very short due to the NorCal fires happening. We arrived and immediately had to go back home as our town was given evacuation orders. The property was as described and we believe we would have enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Very expensive few hours stay however.

Comfortable stay
The condo is in a great location. It is nice to be able to walk down the street to the village area for restaurants/coffee and also it’s close to the Shirley Canyon Trail entrance. The unit had all the basic essentials. I especially appreciated the different types of pillows (down, regular, memory foam) that were available. The swimming pool was open! You just have to make reservations for a time slot. It was a nice way to wind down after hiking, biking, and exploring. We will definitely return!

Great ski vacation
We stayed here the last week of December. The condo was the perfect place for our family. The condo is as advertised with the exception that it really isn’t ski-in / ski-out. A two block walk to lifts is still pretty close. Their is a nice shared hot tub, workout room and steam room across the driveway. Easy walk to village shops, ski rentals and restaurants. Coming home in the evening we were treated to a laser light show in the mountain. They have equipped the condo with the basic needs to make for a great vacation. Highly recommend.

A two block walk to lifts is still pretty close. Their is a nice shared hot tub, workout room and steam room across the driveway. Easy walk to village shops, ski rentals and restaurants. Coming home in the evening we were treated to a laser light show in the mountain. They have equipped the condo with the basic needs to make for a great vacation. Highly recommend.

Charming in Summertime too
The title of this rental "Ski-in/Ski-out home in Squaw" is misleading - this is a 2 bedroom apartment on an upper floor in a large multi-unit building. However the listing description is otherwise accurate regarding the location, layout and amenities. The unit was clean and well-maintained, the owner-manager was promptly responsive with great customer service and we'd recommend this property to our friends and relatives who want to stay at the Squaw resort in the summer over a holiday weekend!
