A pochi passi da Carmel State Beach e riserva naturale (1blocco +). Una breve passeggiata verso est è il Mission Ranch, di proprietà dell'ex sindaco / attore Clint Eastwood. Guarda le pecore nel prato, la laguna o goditi un buon pasto al tramonto. Point Lobos è un'esperienza da non perdere!

Located in a beautiful neighborhood that is fun walking. About two easy walking blocks to the beach with great tidal pools for our two year old granddaughter and dog. And the sunsets! It was fun to be part of the community during sunsets and at the beach. We enjoyed also walking into town- a longer walk — and parking looked like it would be difficult in town but was not. We enjoyed alot of seafood. The house was wonderfully appointed with plenty of extra bed pillows and linens , blankets, beach towells and chairs. This is the way I set up my bay house in the Chesapeake- we didn’t end up using the fire table, the indoor fireplace or the grill but appreciated they were there. We are big fans of outdoor showers and patios. So we really enjoyed those. The big gathering room was beautifully appointed for a family of five to six to hang out in comfortably as well. Everything very well taken care of and clean. Thank you for the use of your very lovely house!

My husband and I stayed at this property during our trip to attend Rennsport 7 with multiple events around the Monterey peninsula. The house and outdoor space space was lovely and just as described in the listing. Check in was simple and we were very comfortable there. We know our way around the area and knew everything we wanted to do was very convenient to the home. Also it is an easy walk to the beach. We very much enjoyed our stay there and would definitely stay again in the future!

The cottage was wonderful in every way. We especially enjoyed the patio: meditation and reading in the warm morning sunlight and sitting out and talking in the late afternoon upon our return from one of the 3 nearby beaches or Point Lobos. Karen is great to communicate with and planning with her is simple and easy.

We really enjoyed our stay—a cozy fireplace with firewood ready to be burned in the fireplace. A fully stocked kitchen, BBQ, comfortable bed, walk to the beach, and/or Ocean Ave. for food, shopping, etc.
We look forward to going back soon. Note: If your cell service is sensitive, I highly recommend getting the code to open the front door before arriving.

The cottage is cozy and so convenient to the beaches. It’s a lovely stroll to downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The home was perfect for a family of four and our dog. Everyone enjoyed the stay as the size and amenities worked out very well to allow each of us just enough space. The location allowed us to walk to both beaches daily with and without the dog. We also had multiple family strolls to town for dinner or just to look around.
Whenever we walked the dog, we were met with many friendly neighbors doing the same.
Karen kindly accommodated the charge of our Phev vehicle which we used to visit the surrounding cities for coffee or sightseeing.
We would highly recommend this rental to anyone who wants to enjoy a wonderful vacation in Carmel.

The home is even nicer than the pics indicate. It’s spacious with all the amenities one would want in a rental. Lots of light and a great patio for cocktails and dining, including a barbecue and fire pit. The neighborhood is spectacular and just a short walk to the beach. Love this place!

This is an attractive house (nicer than you can tell from the photos) in an excellent location, very clean, and well equipped as others have mentioned. My wife and I had a relaxing stay here and look forward to renting this place again.

My husband and I (and our little pup) really enjoyed our stay for 10 nights at this lovely cottage by the sea. The cottage is clean, comfy, and cozy (yet very spacious). We loved how close the cottage is to two beaches - it is a very short walk either direction (2 min going to the left or 5 min to the right) to the beach. Of course, our pup especially loved the off-leash dog beach!! The cottage is also very close to downtown Carmel, and it is a short distance to get to restaurants and shopping (we walked to and from and also drove there a few times). The host was very responsive, and we would definitely come back here again. Thank you, Karen, for sharing your cottage with us!

My husband, myself, our 2 year old and our dog had the best long weekend here. The location is perfect, we walked just about everywhere. Although we never cooked the kitchen was well appointed. The pictures do not do this place justice, it was much nicer than what I had expected. Thank you for a great stay!

The house is charming, cozy, and in a great location! The only thing I would suggest improving upon is bigger beds. The rooms are large enough for King sized beds. That’s all! Other than that, a perfect get away!
A small bonus that won’t always be there: the the house across the street is under construction (we never heard a sound), and one of the crew has a dog name Chester. Chester is the best welcoming committee we’ve ever encountered. He even tried going for a car ride with us a time or two. I hope as many people as possible to get the chance to meet Chester before construction is completed.

Cute cottage and just steps from Carmel beach. Left right from the cottage on a great bike ride along the coast highway. Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway or to use as a home base for activities.

Our stay was everything we imagined and more. Special call out to how well stocked Karen's cottage is for a longer stay.
We really appreciated the communication from Karen and the flashlights and firewood waiting for us given we arrived between rain bomb cyclones.
The cottage location is ideal, so close to the water, tucked up on the point where you are close to everything but have quiet and privacy.
The wifi was excellent in all areas of the cottage for being able to work remotely.
And... the cottage is much larger than you think.
We felt we were truly staying in a home and were very reluctant to leave. We will be back.

My husband and I usually visit Carmel every year. This was our first time using VRBO. It couldn’t have been better. The location of this lovely little sea cottage was perfect. Walks to the beach. Dinner in town. Loved it!

Perfect Cozy Cottage for two couples who wanted to relax, walk the neighborhood, check out the beach, eat and shop in Carmel-by-Sea. Beach is easy walking distance. We drove to eating and shopping (1+ mile away), but could have walked it if we wanted to. Cottage has a small footprint, updated kitchen and bathrooms, cozy couch for lounging in the front room and patio furniture for hanging out on the back patio. We did not cook, but kitchen seemed well stocked. Did not use any dog supplies or beach items, but again, plenty of things to choose from. We had one midsize SUV (Acadia) that we parked in the driveway, just be careful as it can be a tight squeeze. The TV froze for awhile, but luckily it was just used as background noise one evening. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Carmel Sea Cottage and would reserve it again!
