Pool, stunning ocean view, quiet, stairway to beach, ECO house
Dal dicembre 2014 lavoriamo con un sistema a griglia solare per l'elettricità. L'acqua calda viene da un pannello solare. Venite a godere!
Questa graziosa struttura si trova sulla scogliera sopra Playa Cedros. La grande 22000 m2 sacco garantisce ai nostri ospiti una completa privacy pur non essendo isolata dalle altre case della zona. Ci sono due case sulla proprietà, ideale per amici e famiglie con figli grandi. La casa principale è un ampio monolocale con 1 letto matrimoniale, bagno e cucina. Soggiorno e zona pranzo sono al di fuori. Offre una cucina completamente attrezzata e barbecue all'aperto.
La seconda casa è di circa 30 piedi dalla casa principale. Ha una camera da letto al piano superiore con un letto matrimoniale. Il lavandino, wc e doccia rustico all'aperto si trovano al primo piano. Entrambe le case indietro un corridoio della fauna selvatica. Scimmie, iguane e aguti abbondano ... Ci sono molti alberi da frutto autoctoni per i nostri ospiti di godere. Brezze oceaniche mantenere le case confortevoli. 4X4 consigliato.
Parco Nazionale di Cabo Blanco e la piccola città di Cabuya si trovano a soli 4 km a sud - Cabuya è un ottimo punto di partenza per escursioni a piedi, nuoto, snorkeling, kayak, beach pettinatura, amanti della fauna selvatica a guardare e tutto natura stanno cercando. Montezuma dista 3 km del Nord e ospita numerosi ristoranti e negozi. Sei minuti da una delle spiagge più belle della nostra zona. Playa Cedros è noto per la sua 'lunga pausa di surf. Rio Cedros è a breve distanza con una laguna di acqua dolce e cascate sul fiume.

We stayed here in March of 2023. We thoroughly enjoyed the property, wildlife and especially the pool. The one drawback was that it was pretty warm at night so there were a few nights when we did have some difficulty sleeping. A dip in the pool in the evening was the answer! The owner was very good about communicating with us, and rectifying any issues.
It was a very relaxing vacation.

ORIGINALLY HAD ISSUES FINDING THE HOUSE. HOMEOWNER WAS OUT OF THE COUNTRY AND CARETAKER WAS UNAVAILABLE DURING THE ENTIRE STAY. GARDNER/POOL MAINTENANCE GUY SHOWED UP UINANNOUNCED ONE DAY. OTHER THAN THAT, HOUSE AND AMENITIES WERE EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED ON WEBSITE. VERY RELAXING STAY AFTER GETTING THERE. THE POOL AND VIEWS MAKE THE PROPERTY! WE WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.
BE ADVISED - GETTING THERE IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART! :)

Not going to bore with a repeat of previous reviews. Stine and Joachim picked us up from our flight to Tambor. We headed to Cabano to stock up on supplies. After arriving at the property they took us on a tour and explained the nuances. Situated on a cliff the eastern view allows beautiful sunrises and a view of the Gulf of Nicoya. Sitting in the patio you overlook a vast valley of jungle inhabited with Capuchin and Howler monkeys, Agoti, Cotimumdi, Iguanas, Agoti, as well as many different species of birds. The pool is freaking outstanding. Stine and Joachim visited us to sweep the yard and clean the pool during our stay. They always contacted us before arrival, reassuring a private setting. If your looking for an experience and are self sufficient this will be an incredible vacation for you. If you're a spoiled Prima Dona looking to be waited on hand and foot go to a resort. Thank you Stine and Joachim. This was the best vacation of our lives. Can't wait to return.

A simple open space to enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. We shared the hilltop with many white-faced and howler monkeys, iguana, a family of pizotes - Mom and 6 or 7 little pizote-kits, and the occasional sighting of an agouti. The pool was a beautiful space from which to view the ocean and the sunrise. In the evening, the large outdoor space was perfect for watching the sun settle over the neighboring hills. Joachim was an attentive but discreet host, making sure we had all we needed, and leaving us a wonderful home-baked loaf of bread one day. We utilized the small but well-stocked kitchen every day. The walk to the beach either down the steps or down the hill then back again was a good workout for the day. Cabuya was just a short drive away and had all the essentials - two grocery stores, a bakery and coffee shop and several restaurant-bars. Our one-week stay was far too short and we will be pestering Jaochim for dates for 2021, as soon as we get home!
