My spouse and I had a wonderful time at this cabin! The location was great, and we liked being able to get to many places in Egg Harbor and the surrounding areas with ease. The hot tub was also a nice treat, and we saw deer in the area by it while we were getting everything set up. The home is comfortable and clean, and the kitchen is generally well-stocked, as others have said. A couple of tips: there is a Keurig and small Mr Coffee, so you can bring either format of your own coffee (there were filters but no grounds). Also bring along your own tissues (as we had to stop by the store to pick some up). Finally, if you want a gorgeous nature walk, check out The Ridges Nature Preserve. It was a highlight of our trip, and we will definitely be back!

Our group was 2 couples, staying for a long weekend. The Cabin was beautiful, clean and had a great location. We used it as a base to explore Egg Harbor, Fish Creek and Ephraim. The spacious living room was a great gathering place in the mornings and evenings where we could plan the days events or recap the days adventure.

Family, including grandchildren found the time at Larsen Lodge very relaxing. We were within walking distance of park, restaurants and shopping. Some enjoyed the hot tub. We enjoyed a small campfire. The kitchen was adequately supplied for cooking & eating in.

The owner of this property was responsive to all communication. When we discovered the matress for a pac-n-play brought for my 15 month granddaughter was missing, I asked if one was available. The answer came quickly and kept us from purchasing a new one!
The location is walking distance to Egg Harbor grocery, shops and restaurants. The property has plenty of kitchen equipment, loads of linens, laundry is located in a “creepy” basement, but good washer and dryer (btw laundry soap & dryer sheets ARE available), suitable bathrooms with tubs and showers.
Only complaint was the brown carpet in den was not clean- found fingernail clippings there where babies were crawling.
I recommend if you are happy with an acceptable cabin

Clean and very new feeling. Easy walk to many places in egg harbor, and a nice beach close by. Master has an additional queen bed in it which works fantastic when you have littles that don’t like sleeping alone in a new place.

I can’t say enough about this home.
There was not one thing we needed. Beds were comfy, spacious rooms, clean, plenty of linens.
An outdoor griddle and a smoker for cooking meals.
The back deck was a wonderful place to sit and hang out. Will definitely come back next time we plan a trip to Door County.

My friend group usually stay in 2 hotel rooms when we go on our girl trips. This was the perfect place for us to spread out and enjoy each other's company, a short walk to great shops and restaurants, and for each to enjoy the privacy of a bedroom. We all agreed the beds were super comfortable. It was cozy to gather in the spacious living area, switch on the fireplace, and grab the several throws provided. You'll want to bring your own bath/shower amenities. But there are plenty of plush towels! The furnishings are modest, but very comfortable and the place was spotless.

My husband and I enjoyed the weekend by ourselves in this beautiful and clean home. It was so peaceful. We played chess, read, watched movies, enjoyed the hot tub, and deep conversation by the fire place. When we were ready for some fun we took a short walk to the distillery and Mojo's. The location of this place was perfect. Paul was great at communicating, too.

We had wonderful relaxing fall weekend. We loved exploring Egg Harbor and Door County. It was close to everything. The beds were comfortable. And the cabin was spacious enough that we didn’t feel cramped.

Planned our visit for the "Pumpkin Patch" festivities in Egg Harbor. We literally walked to everything., including the grocery store. The cabin is just as described and plenty spacious for the 6 of us. A great time was had by all! Definitely recommended for your next Door County stay.

My husband and I enjoyed staying in this cabin, although quite large cabin for just the two of us. We loved that it was hidden away in the trees, but right in town! We were close to everything in driving distance and walking distance. Enjoyed the hot tub and jacuzzi on our vacation. I love coming to Door County during the Autumn!

My friends and I stayed here to celebrate our 40th birthdays. The location of the house was perfect, and it was a great space for the six of us. As others mentioned, it was a little weird that the house isn’t locked when you check in and the music system is playing throughout the house, but everything else made for an excellent stay. The bathrooms were stocked with oodles of nice towels, and the kitchen had everything needed to cook actual meals. Some rentals claim to have a “fully stocked” kitchen but then you can’t even find a mixing bowl, but that was not the case here. I made elaborate breakfasts every day, and the big dining table was great for our group. You are expected to do more cleaning here than in other rentals I’ve stayed in, but you’re provided with all the right tools to do so. The house was very clean, so I really can’t complain about pitching in! Would definitely stay here again.

The cabin is rustic looking yet fully modern, and very roomy, with a bed for each of the five women in our group. Location is fabulous, tucked in the woods yet within blocks of numerous cafes and shops in town.

The especially large cabin, is just off the main road and up a hill surrounded by trees. It’s quiet, well shaded and we saw a couple of deer feeding one evening. It’s a simple walk into town. The public beach however is a bit of a hike as the area is hilly.
We were provided with everything promised by the owners. We were comfortable, plenty of hot water, enjoyable deck. We may have been fortunate as there did not seem be an insect problem while we enjoyed the rear deck.
On our accommodations, we wish we could give more than 5 stars. The owners have now set a higher level of expectations that we doubt will be match in our future travels.

Our group of 8 enjoyed this property very much! The location is fantastic! We enjoyed walking to the nearby shops, food establishments and Harbor View Park, which is a great place to watch the sunset. We had plenty of space in the cabin to relax. The grill on the deck was very convenient for us to make meals and the kitchen was great to prepare meals as well. The family room was more spacious than it appears in the photos. The bathrooms were very clean and spacious as well. We were very comfortable during our stay at this property. We highly recommend this cabin!

The Larsen's 1861 cabin is wonderful! We loved that it was within walking distance to so many things in Egg Harbor, yet you felt like you were in the woods. Nice property
Enjoyed the cabin. Everything was as advertised and clean. Recommend window coverings for upstairs bathroom and living room. The checkout instructions in the booklet were worded a bit sternly … “you know what clean looks like”…. condescending. Many pluses to the cabin, and we love Door… we will be back! Thank you.
