Great location! Loved the house. We were told we would have a bag of essentials, dish soap, paper towels, laundry detergent etc but we didn’t. Contacted management company and they just delivered paper towels.
Steep pet fee, for each dog, which is not explained well in the description.

We absolutely loved the house. We love the way the home was decorated! We enjoyed every room in the house! Walked to dinner and shopping! So much fun!!

This vacation property has everything you need and more! Watch the sunrise from the huge back deck, shower outdoors, play croquet in the back yard, read in the all season screened in porch (my fav) or walk to town. The only thing this house needs… is a name ;)

Very nice home for adults. Less recommended for children or older folks due to very steep, narrow stairway and no bathroom on the second floor where bedrooms are located. We loved the sun porch and were very appreciative of this pet-friendly rental.

Our family has stayed at A ‘Teague of Our Own several years now. We love the house and always feel at home during our stay. The location is great and we easily bike everywhere. We are already looking forward to next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location, bedrooms were perfect for our family, really nice outdoor space. We would definitely stay at this rental again!

This house is great for families looking for a dog friendly home base. Everything you need and a great outdoor shower. You can bike/walk into town and the grocery store easily and the bike path is close by as well. Easy access to everything.

Relaxing and quiet

Love the fresh paint on the interior of the house. Gentlemen who mows lawn did a wonderful job, we were able to play cornhole several days while we were there. The goodie bag left by the homeowners was a nice touch and much appreciated. My husband and I are relieved the house was still a rental after its sale last year. Been coming to Chincoteague for a long time and we love this rental.

My vacation was postponed due to CV 19 however I was still able to enjoy a week of solitude and I am very grateful for a wonderful home with a warm, comfy environment that was provided. I especially love the app for the resort and how user-friendly it is I will definitely stay again I also enjoyed the location.

July 2021 Stay
Our family has stayed at A ‘Teague of Our Own several years now. We love the house and always feel at home during our stay. The location is great and we easily bike everywhere. We are already looking forward to next year.

The house was great, really cute and comfortable. Got a lot of use out of the screened in porch. Was actually nicer in person than the pics online. Will be back!

This was our third year coming to the island - all different homes. Love the house. Very nicely decorated. Love the sunroom except with the heat we had, it was a sauna by the evening. A few recommendations to improve further: light for back yard, remove windows from the shower, keep charcoal in the house for the grill, provide a key that works for the side door, more food storage containers, tiki torches around the deck. Thanks!

We absolutely loved the house, location, lot, etc! After seeing feedback about the screen porch we brought a window fan to help exhaust the heat so that we were able to enjoy it in the evenings. I also packed extra food storage based on another feedback comment. Loved the outdoor shower after a day at the beach.
The welcome bags from the resort realty and owners was a very nice touch.
Bathrooms downstairs only can be a little inconvenient - especially since we had someone on the sleeper sofa with the rest of us upstairs. Utensils for the outdoor grill would be helpful - I didn’t pack any since I expected they’d have some. An umbrella for the back deck would be nice too.
We will definitely stay there again given the opportunity!

Really cute, cozy home within walking distance of most dining and activities. Very clean, and the rental agents were very accessible and helpful with our questions. Would definitely stay here again. Wish we could have ordered better weather.

Everything about the rental was phenomenal. Very welcoming, impeccable decor and great location. We walked and biked everywhere. Can’t wait to return.

Backyard oasis
The highlight of our visit to Chincoteague was sitting on the back deck of this rental home, sipping coffee in the morning. We brought our dog, and enjoyed everything this home had to offer. Note: while this home is pet friendly, sadly dogs are barred from most community parks as well as the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. Our mistake! But this can complicate a local visit with your pets.

Wonderful House in Chincoteague
My family had an amazing time staying at this property. It was very clean, a great location and exactly as described. The sun room was beautiful and we enjoyed having the car port to pull under to load/unload the car for beach days.
