Situato nel cuore di un piccolo villaggio di pescatori di aragosta-, Bridge View è un elegante, casa 3 camere da letto con vista panoramica della baia occidentale, Jonesport e Beals Island Bridge. Costruito nel 1890, Bridge View è stato recentemente rinnovato e decorato in modo da riflettere la nostalgia ed estetica della metà del secolo Maine.
Mentre Bridge View è il luogo perfetto per rilassarsi semplicemente e guardare le barche aragosta passano, è anche ideale per vivere la cultura Downeast. Ogni mattina, andare a fare una breve passeggiata intorno al villaggio di pescatori. Respiro l'aria di mare salato e fotografare i capitani di mare che trasportavano nella loro cattura. Acquista aragosta fresca o crostacei direttamente dal molo. Se siete alla ricerca di occupazioni più energici, innumerevoli insenature o del kayak Western Bay escursione Grande Wass Island, una riserva naturale di fama collegato alla Beals da un ponte. Si può anche prendere l'aragosta e incubatoi molluschi visita presso l'Istituto Downeast o il campione del New England # 1 nominale aragosta rotolo a Bayview take-out solo per la strada. Le città di Machias (ospita ristorante famoso di Helen) e Cutler (sede del popolare Puffin Tour del capitano Andy Peterson) sono entrambi a soli 30+ minuti di distanza. Ma ovunque si vada, non sarai mai lontano dalla drammatica, costa rocciosa del Maine o lande mirtillo masso cosparso.

In a quintessential Maine lobstering village, this spotless home is creatively decorated in vintage items from various eras. Everywhere you look there is something else to admire. The cool boat hangout was an additional perk. Quiet area with beautiful views. And within a 1/2 hour there are many stunning beaches, preserves and trails, a Hannaford's Supermarket and a great tavern/restaurant called The Public House. Couple of small grocery/convenient stores, a pizza take out place in Jonesport, right over the bridge. Also can buy fresh seafood right on the docks. This is the place for you if you want to chill and explore nature and not see rows of T shirt shops! For us the whole vibe was magical. But if you are looking for lots of nightlife, shopping and restaurants, then you may want to consider Bar Harbor instead. Btw, Rich is a funny, engaging and considerate host who provided tons of helpful info. I'd give 10 stars if I could!

Bridge View was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed and welcomed by the charm of this beautiful coastal cottage. The home is thoughtfully decorated with cozy midcentury Maine vibes, and the renovated scallop boat lounge is such a unique and memorable touch.Waking up to the sight and sound of boats just a stone’s throw away, along with the salty ocean air, was magical. We loved walking through the quiet fishing village where everyone was super friendly, and exploring the stunning Downeast coastline was simply amazing. The location feels peaceful and authentic — far away from crowded tourist spots, yet close enough for incredible day trips.The cottage itself was spotless, comfortable, and incredibly charming. You can really feel the care and attention put into every detail. We played games, laughed and loved listening to the vinyl collection. We truly took a step back in time and truly cherished family time. It was the perfect place to unwind, reconnect, and experience the true beauty of Maine.Hosts were so responsive and had so many great recommendations for us for local areas. We’re already dreaming about coming back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable coastal getaway!Tsaknopoulos Family 2026

The host was amazing and very accomodating. Everything we needed was on site, house was very clean and orderly. Quiet neighborhood, very freindly community, and awesome views. The neighborhood deer and the boat lounge were added bonus to our stay.

Overall a decent stay. The property is not on the water and the views of the water are pretty limited unless you climb the steep stairs to the outside lookout deck. The property is located in a neighborhood with a lot of houses right next to it and was advertised as having air conditioning which it did not have, just a couple fans. The trash in the outside bin had not been collected / removed for quite some time when we arrived, it smelled horrible, and was never removed during our three night stay (a bummer but something we were not surprised to see from non-local owner / operators). The recommendations for purchasing lobster directly from the wharf down the street was good (except on Sundays). The house had a lot of amenities but felt a bit cluttered to us. The one small bathroom and no dishwasher didn't seem adequate for the size / price point / marketing of the property, but the owner did provide plenty of towels and cleaning supplies. The cleaning person arrived before checkout time and seemed like were frustrated we weren't out yet. We would probably chose to stay somewhere else in the future but commend the owners on their marketing efforts which were top notch!
