This is a really hard review to write but I rely heavily on ratings and believe an honest review helps the properties get better and provides alternate viewpoints for potential lodgers to consider when booking. I am still giving 4 stars because it can be a great home if you know what to expect ahead of time. Pros:Nice older home with a lot of character. Well stocked and clean. Nice laundry room and kitchen. Comfortable beds. Plenty of hot water. Cons:Hard to find…took several tries to locate the home as GPS wouldn’t take us to the address listed. Local delivery driver never did find it. Later, we noticed a couple of very small, obscure signs directing traffic there. It may be helpful to provide better signage or directions instead of just the address. The listing highlights the “rare find of an on-site arcade and game room”. When we couldn’t find a game room, we were told that there was a sunroom that people could use as a game room which once had a game table and chairs until it was broken. We were unable to watch some sports finals while we were there on tv because the cable had been turned off because “it wasn’t being used.” Amazon and Netflix were offered if we wanted to use our accounts. Again, we would have made plans to go out and watch the games if we had been made aware. The 4 bedrooms have plug-in air conditioners but we were instructed to only use two at a time or it would throw the breaker. The listing needs updated for accuracy and clarification.

A perfect place for friends to gather. Thank you, Kathryn!

Fabulous stay.

Old farm house so has all the odd things you in counter in older homes. If you are looking modern and/or out of town this is not the place. A fire pit would have been extra nice.
