Blakeney House

Wonderful service

Staff, cleanliness, location, peaceful setting

Location was perfect. Able to park up and wander down to the Quay and shops.

Lovely location and building. The conservatory where you have breakfast is bright and warm. It was nice and quiet and the other guests were very friendly.

We were offered a complimentary upgrade before arriving, however on arrival were given one of the smallest rooms which had a strong smell of dog - something we weren’t pre-warned about and became really unpleasant. When I queried this they said they would check what happened however no-one came back to me. The shower still had some hair on the walls which isn’t very nice while you’re in there. The vegetarian full English was slightly disappointing as it was basically the normal full English minus sausages and bacon but no alternative, they didn’t ask how you’d like the eggs - just small details which can make a big difference and probably bothered us slightly more than it would have if the above issues didn’t happen.
