Well outfitted and very lovely and comfortable home, just a short walk from the beach, restaurants, and more. It has a great outdoor set-up with sitting and eating areas, bocce ball, and more. We loved our time there!

Clean, spacious guest house thoughtfully equipped for a beach vacation. The owners are helpful and responsive. Great location for beachgoing as well as serving as a home base for exploring Santa Cruz County.

This little cottage is extremely well done. Lots of outdoor space, inside space is well laid out, furnishings are new and modern, etc. We were extremely impressed and are hoping to go back next year!

The house was spotless. Beds are super comfortable. Very quiet neighborhood. Everything you could imagine needing was there. The owner is very responsive and was wonderful to my mom and me on our girls trip vacation. We will definitely be back. Thanks Colm for everything!!

We had a great family getaway at Colm's lovely property. It's a very relaxed, low-key beach house; wonderfully appointed with everything you might need to enjoy the local beaches or just chill in the back yard. We had three generations on site, so it was really helpful to have a quiet reading spot (the hammock got a lot of use), as well as more social areas like the outdoor dining area.
The state parks pass was a particular benefit of staying at this house--one or all of us could run down to the beach for a dusk walk, or the whole day.
Colm was a gracious host -- accessible, easygoing, welcoming, just like his house. We had a great time!

The house was clean, spacious for a family of four, and comfortable. But the best part is the outdoor space. There are two tables for outdoor dining, a wonderful hammock, two comfortable Adirondack chairs, and an area for Bocce ball and corn hole. Plus, the property has everything you need for the beach—a beach umbrella, beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, a standup paddle board, and sand toys. We highly recommend this house for families with active kids.

The Kennedy Beach House is in a great location--very quite neighborhood. We spend a lot of time on Capitola beach and it's only about 10 minutes away. The house appears to have been recently remodeled. The open floor plan of the house is light and livable. The furniture and beds are very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved everything about the property, and area, and all that Aptos had to offer. Our host was fantastic. He was very kind and responsive. The little things provided by the owner (state park day pass, items for the kids to enjoy, games [inside and out] were really nice amenities. We would absolutely stay here again as it was a great hub for our daily adventures.

We had a great stay at Kennedy beach house. It was perfectly set up for family time with our young boys, and there was more beach equipment than we could possibly use. The kitchen was nice and spacious too!

We loved our stay here! The cottage is cozy and inviting, perfect for spending time with family and friends. We really enjoyed the outdoor space, especially the hammock, and loved riding the bikes to the beach every evening to catch the sunset. In a perfect location and well stocked with everything you need for a family getaway including comfortable beds, an awesome kitchen, outdoor games and sports equipment, and a fireplace for chilly, rainy days. We hope to come back!

Lovely, peaceful, spacious, comfortable. I especially loved hearing the Great Horned Owl nearby every night. Kitchen was impeccably stocked. Beds comfy, bathroom nice! Bummer about the buckets of rain which kept us from the beach, but huddled by the fireplace as also lovely. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is really nice and clean and has everything you need. Lots of outdoor activity equipment such as bocce balls, soccer ball, football, basket ball...
We were able to play bocce ball when there was a break in the rain. Perfect location for a trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium - only 45 minutes away, Santa Cruz, Tide Pools and lots more.

The house and location are great. Perfect for the three of us for cooking and enjoying the evening together. The weather was rainy during our stay so, we were not able to enjoy the outdoor tables and patios. However, they were very inviting looking. Instead we enjoyed the indoor fireplace which was very warming. Thank you.

The house is located in a quiet residential area close to the beach, about 15-20 minute walk. We enjoyed the outdoor patio but due to the rain we stayed inside. It was nice to go to the beach January 1 to enjoy the new year! Overall, it is a great house with many appliances. Thank you for having us stay!

We spent five days enjoying the beach, hiking in Nicene Marks and visiting family. The house is a perfect location, walkable to the beach, the mountains, the shops nearby. The property itself has wonderful outside areas, where we spent most of our time when at the house. Definitely intend to come back.

This house has so much to offer. It is equipped with everything you need and so much more...sports equipment, hammock, fireplace. My sister was blown away by the wolf stove.
The owners are so thoughtful with extensive area suggestions, clear instructions and great communication. Enjoyed the beach and Nisene Mark's Park. Would have loved to stay longer 👍👍👍

We loved our stay! The house was clean and the beds are SUPER comfy. Our daughter loved the hammock and we actually wished we had more time to relax and enjoy the house. Great communication with our host, including a heads up about road closures and offering to send back a lost necklace. Would definitely stay here again!

As usual, the Kennedy family made this vacation rental feel more like a home. It had all the amenities you could ever need plus more. We appreciated all of the beach supplies and the kids enjoyed playing bocce ball and corn hole. The location was great! We were able to walk to the beach, restaurants, and the ice cream shop (which as a great hit). Would definitely recommend this house to other vacationers and we plan to return again in the future. This home is so wonderful, we wished we could live here! Everything is high quality and thoughtfully laid out. We had a group of 5 adults that all stayed here comfortably. The backyard and beach accessories were a wonderful addition.

Oasis
This home had so much room for our family to spread out. Lots of thoughtful touches, like a smart TV, DVDs, books, very well-stocked kitchen, extra cozy blankets and extra pillows. Two doors that open to the outside so you can let in the wonderful breezes and a beautiful yard for playing and relaxing. The neighborhood is so peaceful and quiet. We loved staring up at the trees from the hammock. Easy communication with owner. Easy access to Santa Cruz sights and beaches. We walked to the nearest beach a few times but ended up exploring the area more than going to the beach. Going to Capitola for a surf lesson on our last day was a real highlight and the beach there is great for kids and watching the day unfold. This house is very short drive from there. Would stay again if we find ourselves there for sure.
