Nice house, but could use some work in certain areas. The shower drain was backed up and would fill up with water up to my ankles every time i took a shower. The fireplace in the living room only works half the time after constantly flicking the power switch off and on. Eventually, I just didn’t bother with it. The neighborhood is much more funky than as advertised.it’s not by the ocean, you have to drive a bit for that.Nothing wrong with that just not ideal for a vacation. If I had been there on business would be a great place to stay.

Charming home with lovely decor and thoughtful amenities. Good location with easy drives to golf courses, Carmel and Monterey. Has cute outdoor space with table for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Super efficient hosts. We will be back!

Had a wonderful time! Easy to access beaches, Big Sur, and Carmel as well as grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. Especially appreciated the parking spots, patio, and washer/dryer.

We stayed for 3 nights total. The house was adorable and probably one of the best stocked rentals I’ve stayed in. From the instructions to the mirror in the driveway, they thought of everything.

We enjoyed our stay so much! The house is so welcoming and quaint. We had 6 people with us. Me, my husband, our two daughters, and my parents. It slept all of us perfectly. Everything was clean and exactly what we needed. The location of the house was close to all of the activities we wanted to do in Monterey. Would absolutely visit again and recommend for others to stay as well!

Nice overall. Easy check in, good communication, clean property. There were quite a few minor bits of damage to the property and the neighborhood was somewhat transitional.

Spent 4 days here for my nieces graduation. Convenient to Carmel, and Monterey. Very clean, kitchen very well put together with great appliances and pots, pans, bowls, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

This property worked out well for our family of 4 (2 kids under 8). We greatly appreciated the washer/dryer and the stocked coffee. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of clean linens. Grateful for the driveway as street parking appeared very full. The oven is broken and seems like it has been for a while from some of the comments in the guest book, so that was really frustrating. The owners should repair it or post that it is broken. There also is no ice maker but luckily there is a great corner market just a few blocks away. We greatly appreciated access to the aquarium as guests of the owner. Overall a enjoyable stay.

Cute bungalow, close to Monterey. Located in a quiet neighborhood, but a car is required as pretty residential around the house. Short drive to a beach or Monterey. There were a few minor issues with the housekeeping, which my wife notified to owners of so hopefully they've been addressed (nothing major, just could be cleaned better and supplied better in spots, not faulting the owner or the property itself). The bungalow served as a nice dog-friendly hotel alternative while we attended a wedding in the area. For the dog-friendliness I am very thankful.

We loved our stay at the charming cottage. It is comfotable and very well equipped. We had our grandchild with us so we especially enjoyed the Disney channel to enjoy and relax after dinner and another lovely day in the Monterey area. Thank you.

This is a cozy, yet comfortable house. House is fully stocked with all the dishes and utensils to enjoy home cooked meals. The grill is an awesome addition for those summer cookouts. Could not be happier with our stay. Mary and Chuck were very communicative and responsive to any questions we had. Nice location with many things to do around the property.

Comfortable, clean home for our group of two adult couples and one infant. Conveniently located near Monterey and Carmel. We enjoyed dining on the front patio with takeout from nearby Monterey Halal Market. Great communication!

We enjoyed the stay. Dog parks close by. We’re walkers so we walked to some of the eateries near by. Liked the crepe place and the suggested breakfast place. We were there over the 4th of July and the neighbors was very active with home fireworks. Very festive. Loved the front and back outdoor areas. The back area was fenced and just enough for the dog to roam a bit unsupervised for a bit. Front patio was great when our family showed up. I’d go again. Thank you.

Accommodations as advertised, and an abundance of amenities. We appreciated owners quick response to TV issue and love the fact that bungalow is pet friendly. Highly recommend. We played six golf courses and we were within 15 min on four and 25 min on the other two. So easy.

Our crew of 3 enjoyed our stay at this nice home. It was close to everything we wanted to do and see while we stayed there. The home was clean and well apportioned. Plenty of room for the 3 of us. Check in and out was easy. The Aquarium passes were a bonus.

The house is welcoming and in a great location as a quick drive to Cannery Row, Monterey Aquarium, and other must see sites. The only negative was not getting the check in instructions and address until the day before check in and needing to call Vrbo to obtain this information.

We stayed here for the Big Sur marathon and it was both convenient and very pleasant. The house was bigger than we expected based on the photos and we enjoyed the al fresco dining table. The master bedroom has a large walk in closet that worked well as a nursery for the baby. Conveniently located to get to Monterey. The beach, grocery and a large playground were very close by.

Had a wonderful stay at this delightfully located and beautifully appointed house. This house is centrally located in Seaside, only a few minute drive from the ocean and downtown Seaside. Beautifully appointed in modern decor, the two bedroom, two bath house is well kept and very functional. The beds where clean and comfortable, with a pack and play provided for our infant which was a great touch. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with this property and we will definitely be staying here again.

Mary and chuck are excellent hosts and are diligent in their communication to ensure you have a great stay. The house looks just as great as the pictures and is very comfortable and nice. The neighborhood is beautiful and so close to the beach, Big Sur, Carmel and all the other incredible landmarks in the area. Would love to stay here again!

We had a great time at this home. Area seemed cleaned and safe. We really appreciate Mary and Chuck for being quick to respond to all our questions. The home is in proximity to all restaurants, grocery stores, local entertainments; I definitely recommend checking out Mary and Chuck's place.

We had a restful and fun stay at this property in Seaside, which is a stone's throw from Monterey and Carmel. Seaside itself is a quiet town, with peaceful streets and a great dog park (check out Pacchetti Park, it's fantastic, should you bring a furry friend). The house itself was clean and well appointed, with a great kitchen and common area (w/ pullout sleeper), 2 bedrooms (1K + 1Q) and 2 baths, a peaceful front patio and a back porch. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Have fun!
