Beautiful and Cosy Countryhouse Overlooking Orvieto
Questa è la pensione di una bella casa di campagna situata nel mezzo di una vasta tenuta di vigneti e oliveti, che domina l'antica città di Orvieto. Da qui puoi raggiungere facilmente, in treno o in auto, molte città importanti come Roma, Firenze, Siena, Perugia, Viterbo e molte altre. Il lago di Bolsena, a 9 km di distanza, offre belle spiagge e sport acquatici.
La casa si sviluppa su due livelli: al piano terra troviamo un bel soggiorno con stufa a pellet, una camera matrimoniale, un bagno con doccia e uno studio o seconda camera da letto con uno o due letti.
Al secondo piano ci sono una cucina completamente attrezzata, un bagno con doccia e una terrazza con pergola per mangiare all'aperto con vista su Orvieto. Un grande giardino circonda la casa.
Piscina di 18x8 metri da condividere con un'altra casa a 500 metri.

The home worked out well for our party of 4. This was a very quiet and relaxing stay with proximity to Orvieto and Civita.The view across the valley of Orvieto was amazing at all hours of the day and we did a wine tasting and bought wine at the winery. The hostess was helpful and very nice.The only small negative was the location is roughly 40 mins from Orvieto, but the quiet setting and views made this worth it.

This home is truly a magical place! Both rustic and modern at the same time. An extremely peaceful, private and charming setting that I know we’ll talk about for years to come. Spotlessly clean and just like the pictures! The host family is so nice and welcoming and always there for you should you need them. Make sure you do the cooking lesson and wine tasting too, you’ll also learn the fascinating history of this amazing property.

We had a very relaxing stay at Simonetta ‘s country cottage. We had some trouble finding it due to roadworks re-routing us. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The view over Orvietto was outstanding and we made full use of the beautiful garden area. We would love to stay again if we returned.

Simonetta was delightful and explained everything very well. When we needed her she responded quickly. The little house is adorable and had everything we needed. The view- Fantastic!! A lovely patio and chairs to sit on as we sipped the wonderful wine from her vineyard and enjoyed the view. We also enjoyed meeting her son who runs the wine shop and helped us decide with our tastings. Orvieto is an ancient city not to be missed.
