La "Hill House Manteen" è una nuova aggiunta alla lista VRBO di House on the Hill n. 196194. 150 piedi e 53 gradini sotto la casa principale si trova questa struttura a blocchi di cemento ............. Privata da un arco di pini che questa zona ha all'aperto posti a sedere coperti, un banchetto in stucco e una zona divertente con affumicatore e grill. La mensa presenta soffitti da 13 'e grandi porte scorrevoli in metallo e vetro che aiutano a monitorare il flusso di luce e aria ... che inoltre, una volta aperto, crea un'atmosfera all'aperto di "campeggio fuori".
La mensa dorme 2 su un divano pieghevole molto comodo. La biancheria da letto di alta qualità viene conservata per un facile accesso quando si decide di "consegnare" per la notte. Un camino Isokern aumenta il comfort nelle fredde notti e mattine di Marfa. La cucina completa è dotata di piano cottura a gas, cucina elettrica, stoviglie Fiestaware, utensili da cucina e macchina per il caffè. C'è una piccola stanza di polvere e appena fuori da questa stanza una favolosa doccia esterna sexy con acqua corrente calda e fredda. Nota: questa doccia esterna è l'unica doccia.

This property has been a game changer for me; since we started staying here I truly enjoy our week + long trips a few times a year to visit our kids.
I’m a retired Interior Designer so I greatly appreciate the function, artistic vibe of the space, the architecture & the landscaping & outdoor spaces are over the top. LAL- Austin

We really enjoyed our stay in Marfa. We experienced snow during our trip and the host was kind enough to offer to move our stay to a later date. The place was warm and even had a fireplace that we were able to use during the cold weather. Although the shower is outside, it felt private and the water was hot. The futon converts to a bed and has a mattress topper that made for comfortable sleeping. Would definitely stay here again.

Eclectic Marfa casita
You definitely get the Marfa feel staying at this Casita. It clearly states that the bed is a futon made out to your only bed. It is small but cozy with the fireplace nearby. Casita is located right next to a busy road and the train tracks close by. Because we don't live in the city,, we are not use to hearing traffic/trains while sleeping. Bring a white noise machine or app if you are a light sleeper. Also we were there when it was windy so it made it challenging to take an outdoor shower with the shower curtain flying around. It would be great to have a more permanent door for the shower.

Perfection
The Canteen was Marfa inspired perfection. So nicely appointed. Every aspect was thoughtfully orchestrated: architecture, landscape design, artwork, furnishings. I could go on and on. The flowers were gorgeous during our stay, and we had so much fun watching the butterflies, lizards, and hummingbirds! We hope to come again sometime.

Beautiful, thoughtfully built, detailed, and decorated! Loved everything about it! The rooster crowing in the morning! The neighbors cats playing tag. The outdoor shower was wonderful!

Magic in Marfa
Our stay at the House on the Hill Cantina in Marfa was "ab-soul-utely" magical. Such a delightfully, whimsical space filled with wonderful art, all the comforts of home and incredible outdoor setting. Perfect for two! It was exactly what we needed … a peaceful space blanketed with billions of stars. Mr. Bellamy and his team made sure are expectations were met and then some. We could not have asked for a better host nor a better maintained space. You can feel the specialness of the space as soon as you pull up in the drive. Stress just peels away and you find yourself experiencing a true Marfa experience. Oh, did I mention location? Fantastic! Within walking distance to everything in downtown Marfa and a take off point to Fort Davis, Terlingua, Lajitas and Presidio. We loved it! Thank you Mr. Bellamy!!

A cool property but very uncomfortable
We arrived at night and there were no street signs and mapquest couldn't locate the property
and we were lost for an hour and our calls were not answered during that time.
The bed should really be for one person and horribly uncomfortable, don't think I slept!!
You must go outside to use the restroom and the shower is completely outdoors.
This is probably my fault for not carefully reading the descriptions. I would not recommend this to my friends !

Don’t pass this up.
If you’re thinking of staying somewhere else, don’t. Book this place now and don’t look back. The pictures just don’t it justice.
Robert’s sense of style and eye for design are unmatched and he’s made the Canteen unbelievably comfortable. When you pull in and walk around front, you’re greeted by birds, bunnies, butterflies, bees and even those little lizards that do the push-ups.
When you walk in you’ll immediately notice how clean, cool and cozy it is. You will want for nothing, except maybe an extra day when you check out.
If you’re lucky, it’ll rain while you’re there. “Who says that”, you ask? First off, whoever excavated and graded the property is a landscaping savant. Water from the higher elevations is channeled to a 15ft area of rocks and stone that, for about the next 20-30 mins. after the rain, becomes your private zen waterfall/babbling brook with two tiny streams that break off to the left and right of the Canteen.
You can easily walk to every thing Marfa has to offer. (Every restaurant, coffee shop, boutique or bar).
Enjoy your stay.

Charming retreat
This property is picture perfect. From the amazing art collection, charming kitchen to the outdoor space it provides the perfect setting to get away and take in all Marfa has to offer. I would highly recommend booking this property!

First time in Marfa (won't be the last)
My wife and I drove out to Marfa for our anniversary, and the trip was absolutely amazing. The Canteen was a huge part of that. The outdoor area is perfect for hanging out in the evenings, and for star-gazing at night. The design (inside and out) was really nice. It also happens to be within walking distance to most things in town (no more than about a mile), including Pizza Foundation, which is a great place across the street.

Charming and unique
The home was a very artsy, comfortable space, well-appointed and with wonderful outdoor areas (seating, pergola, lawn, fire pit) and very hot water in the charming outdoor shower. It is a convenient walking distance to the main town. The only thing I wish I had known is that it is close to the highway (Rt. 67/90), though there was no disturbing traffic during the night. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm in West Texas!

We had a great stay here in Marfa. The property was very comfortable and the creative design and art was a perfect introduction to the uniqueness of Marfa. Great fireplace and full kitchen. We loved it! Highly recommended.

Awesome place!
This was a beautiful getaway for my husband and I, we spent our anniversary here, it was truly a magical experience. We loved the artwork, and the love that was put into the design of the home even to the smallest details. Robert is an excellent host! Thanks so much Robert. We leave tomorrow from this beautiful place and I'm sure we will come again in the near future. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.
