All of the 5 star reviews are true, this house is a gem!
We were fortunate enough to stay almost 5 weeks in this rental, so it really was a home away from home. The owners’ intentional approach to “ home sharing “was obvious at every level.
Special things that way have not been mentioned; the living room is fabulous, large windows on two sides with a view of some of the beautiful plantings and a fountain/ bird bath. It has two couches, a very comfortable chair and a smart TV. Such a feeling of “island life.”!
The kitchen is so well organized, and all the appliances work! That room leads to the beautiful pergola addition. We spent countless hours in that space enjoying meals with the birds.
Our weather was good. The house can get warm in the late afternoon, but the wonderful breezes, supplemented by the many fans, made it comfortable. I think we used the primary bedroom’s AC twice.
This house is a private retreat! We have rented in Princeville before. I think we have found a “ home”.

We enjoyed our time there. It was a bit out-of-the-way in an established neighborhood so it was peaceful. Perhaps the Vrbo ad needs updating. The house is not air conditioned; there are lots of fans. There is a refrigeration unit in the main bedroom, along with a sign asking that it not be used if possible because of the cost of electricity. We did like having a quiet spot to come back to each day.

Good location in Princeville, with easy access to North Shore Activities and close to a grocery store. Nice outdoor space for eating, lots of empty drawers for unpacking and large working washer/dryer. Made use of one of the many coolers provided. We were there during a hot week, with very little rain and no trade winds (according to locals), so house was hot but I think that is unusual.

This house was beautiful both in and out - the layout and privacy was first class. The neighborhood was beyond my expectations. Views of the mountains were breathtaking, as well as, the nearby beaches. I would recommend this property to anyone interested in visiting the beautiful Island of Kauai.

It’s a great house in a very nice neighborhood. The outdoor patio area is especially nice and the landscaping is beautiful.
There are plenty of chairs, games, beach toys, coolers, etc…in the garage. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need.

The home is clean and well organized. I enjoy cooking even on vacation and I found the home to have all the essential cooking utensils plus more!. The owners have thought of supplying their guests with everything for the beach, which we appreciated very much.
The colorful garden and patio are just gorgeous; we enjoyed our breakfast admiring the geckos, hens and chicks. Thank you!

Super happy with our stay at the Cherry’s home. Better equipped than my home! Almost every kitchen appliance available (e.g., blender, mixer, bread machine, coffee grinder/maker) you would ever need. Almost every beach accessory that you would ever need (e.g., umbrellas, water shoes, beach toys, puddle jumper, reusable water bottles, beach towels). The home was very clean and well-maintained. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Lots of space for my family of 6 (3 adults, 3 kids). It was a little warm during the day but there are plenty of fans and the house cooled decently with the windows and doors open in the evening. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved the quiet neighborhood and the beautiful backyard! The house was equipped with everything we needed including an electric tea kettle! The home is beautiful and tastefully decorated! We would love to stay there again!!

We loved it so much. So cozy , love the outside dining area, with the rooster, hen & baby chicks. All the beautiful birds. Sounds of the jungle were amazing.
It was such a great home base, as our sister lives in Haena and we spent most of our 3 days on her property.

It was perfect for our family trip to celebrate our daughter’s 21st birthday, our son’s 18th birthday and a family wedding. It was so close to our favorite beaches and an easy walk to Princeville shops. The neighborhood was very nice, the house was so clean and well-equipped. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the backyard both when the sun was out and when it rained—so beautiful! We highly recommend and hope to stay there again. Thank you for sharing your home!

Fantastic location. Easy check in and owner accommodated a late check out. Backyard was pretty, well-maintained and a great spot to start and end the day. Owners have the house so well equipped it would be difficult not to find what you need.

Extremely well maintained, clean, fully stocked home in a safe, quiet neighborhood located in easy driving distance to everything we wanted to see and do. My favorite part of our 20th wedding anniversary getaway was relaxing in the back yard, surrounded by the most beautiful lush landscaping, listening to and watching the birds...ahhhhh.

Great house in Princeville stocked with everything you could need (bikes, boogie boards, double kayak, misc beach gear, etc). Backyard was great - loved all the birds and covered patio. Cooled down quickly with the screened doors and windows. Scott is great to work with.

This property provides a private paradise. The pictures of the backyard don’t do it justice. Everyday we enjoyed in the morning and then again in the evening after playing on the beaches. Added bonus of the ability to use the beach gear the Cherry’s make available to there guests. Will definitely stay here again.

We couldn't be more pleased with our stay here, nice place in a nice quiet neighborhood. Every facet was good. On future trips I would definitely stay here again now that we are familiar with the beautiful north shore area and all the light switches in the house 🙂

This was a beautiful house with the most provisions I have ever seen in a VRBO. They had everything you could possibly need, including for kids. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet, and there was a great playground walking distance as well as some shops and restaurants. One of my favorite VRBOs to date!

We stayed for a little under a week and cooked dinner in the house every night. It was very easy to use all the amenities & we enjoyed the kitchen. Big family - kitchens are important! The backyard is so sweet and the covered area was so useful when it rained. Thankyou so much!

This property was everything we expected … and more! It was very clean & well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed & the garage had toys galore: bikes, kayak, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, beach chairs & umbrellas. The house is in a great location in Princeville-walking distance to some great beaches & a short drive to many other amenities & activities, such as hiking, kayaking, plantation tours & botanical gardens.
The host was very easy to communicate with and was very responsive to questions & inquiries. We would not hesitate to book this property again in the future.

Beautiful location in lovely quiet neighborhood. House is spacious , well-stocked kitchen, and back yard full of colorful birds was great to come back to at end of day for a cocktail on the patio. Appreciated the umbrellas, snorkel stuff, beach towels provided for our outings.

All the previous 5-star reviews are spot-on, as is the owner's description of this home...plus so much more! It's obvious the owners take pride in keeping this home well maintained and we feel fortunate they choose to share (what appears to be their cherished family vacation home) with us. We were impressed beyond belief throughout our Anniversary stay here. One thing not really highlighted in many previous reviews, and a very pleasant surprise, is the yard. It's exceptionally well landscaped and maintained and set up with very comfortable lounging furniture; the backyard lushness and natural privacy made our end-of-day relaxation watching the birds and listening to the fountain a perfect evening to wind down and recover from the day's excursions. We will definitely return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to anyone wanting a comfortable, fully stocked, well maintained home in an excellent location! Mahalo

Comforts of home in Paradise!
This is a great rental with loads of amenities. The owners have thought of everything to make ones stay easy and enjoyable. The location provides easy access to walking paths, shopping, beaches, hikes, etc. Even with so many things to do, it was tempting to just stay "at home" enjoying the outdoor space and the ongoing bird show! We will not hesitate to rent this home again when staying on the north side of the island.

It was the perfect location. It was so quiet and peaceful with a wonderful view. The house had every amenity we would ever need. The beaches were within walking distance which was great since parking is limited in Princeville. The bikes were a nice addition to getting around. Overall it was the best experience you could ask for when visiting Kauai.

Fabulous!
We chose this house because it had bikes and a kayak, and we used both! We used the snorkels, the beach towels, and so many other things. This house has everything! The kitchen is very well equipped, something that is important to me since we make most of our own meals. The house is in a very nice neighborhood, close to a grocery store complex that has restaurants, a post office, and much more. Everything in the house worked and was clean. You can’t go wrong renting it.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this home. The place was very clean and had all the kitchen supplies you could need. The rooms and baths accommodated us well considering we had three teenagers with us. Scott, the owner, was very responsive through email. The check in process was easy. This is a great place to stay while exploring Kauai.
