What a wonderful, peaceful and tranquil place to stay. Perfect for a large family. Well equipped kitchen with the exception of a few basics that you might want to bring yourself if you enjoy cooking good quality salt, a Peppermill and olive oil and vinegar.. The screened in back porch with fire pit, was our favourite place to hang out. we had a wonderful day and we will be back.

Wonderful cabin! Absolutely beautiful place and right on the river made for a magical time. We could hear the river while sleeping with the window open which was relaxing. And the area we spent most the time in was the screened in patio with a propane fireplace. Thanks!

This was our second year staying at JR Riverfront Retreat. The location is beautiful — right on the river with plenty of space, a hot tub, and a great games/media room that gives everyone room to spread out. That said, a few of the games are showing wear (the air hockey table no longer works properly, and the mini curling table isn’t balanced), though the ping pong table is still in good shape. The home overall feels like it’s starting to get a little tired, especially now that it’s listed for sale, but it’s still a comfortable and enjoyable place for a group stay.
