Great property and welcoming hosts! Peaceful and serene. We love it here!

We had a wonderful stay on Nokay Lake. Our hosts were extremely responsive to our questions prior to our stay and accessible for questions once we checked in. From help putting in and taking our boat out of the water to general conversation Casey was extremely accommodating and completely MN nice! The beds were comfortable and our grandkids enjoyed the bunk bed aspect. Close to cute small towns to explore but peaceful enough that you really don’t want to leave. We highly recommend a stay.

My family and I stayed at this property in mid-June and it was just perfect for the four of us. It was myself, my husband and my two kids ages 3 and 6. The cabin was clean, had everything we needed and matched the description/pictures in the listings. The hosts Casey and Christa were kind and welcoming and answered any questions that we had. The lake was clean and perfect for swimming and fishing. The cabin is not far from downtown Brainard so it’s a quick drive to any activities that the area has to offer. I would definitely recommend staying at this cabin, you will not be disappointed!

The other thing was the WiFi was nearly unusable, not a big deal, we adjusted. Other than that, we had a good experience

Nice lake the rental was perfect

While this property is a little bit away from town amenities and activities, the extra few minutes of driving is absolutely worth it. The cabin has everything you need to make you feel like you're at home. There is a large green area outside that was perfect for playing yard games or fetch with your dog. The lake is quiet and beautiful! We enjoyed a lot of great fishing, and just relaxing on the water. You can walk out off the dock for quiet a ways out, which was perfect to play fetch with our water loving dog. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax and recharge, while also being able to enjoy life on the lake, this place is for you. Our family had a blast- and we joke that we're pretty sure our dog had the best time of all of us! 😉 We hope to come back in the fall or next summer. It definitely didn't disappoint! *Side note:We loved that dogs were allowed here, since it seems to be really hard to find a place that will accommodate pets. 🐶

Beautiful area that was peaceful.

Casey and Christina were very welcoming and warm hosts. They made us feel right at home. Their guest house was very cute and offered all the amenities of home. The property provided great views of the lake and direct access to paddle board, kayak and paddle boat. We plan on returning next year.

We didn't have the greatest weather on our short vacation, so it was very nice to have a nice place to play games & hang out indoors because of the rain.

We initially started looking for a place on Mille Lacs, but quickly stumbled upon this gem a little off the beaten path. Nokay lake is halfway between Garrison and Brainerd, and is not as highly trafficked as others in the region. Still plenty of lake to explore, we found it much more idyllic and serene than some of the larger and more visited lakes....plenty of good fishing, great swimming spots and perfect for kids. The kayak and water equipment available for rent are good perks, and your kids will spend quite a good amount of time fishing off the docks. Overall a spectacularly relaxing experience, you won’t regret it!

Our family had an AMAZING week on Nokay Lake! The guest cabin was absolutely perfect. Very clean, modern and had everything we could have possibly needed. The Miller's were great to work with and very friendly. They offered us wonderful recommendations on places to visit during our week. Our children played nonstop and were constantly entertained. Between swimming on the lilipad, fishing off the dock, boat rides, biking and searching for agates, there was never a dull moment. Highly recommend this property!!

Casey and Christa were great hosts and even went the extra mile of driving me up to the public landing after I got my boat to their place. I had a very nice weekend of fishing on a quiet lake :) Brainerd was close when I needed to run to the store and Nisswa was a fun day trip too.

This Nokay getaway provided our family of 5 with a beautiful and peaceful property- great amenities and beautiful surroundings. We definitely enjoyed our time together here. We enjoyed swimming (lily pad is really fun) and boating (covered boat lift was great). The location is pet friendly and perfectly situated between the lakefront and the road. Large TV was a nice option for watching movies, and having internet allowed us to stream on our Roku. Nokay lake provided us with a wonderful time swimming and kayaking, and the smaller pond just down the road had beautiful trails (hiking/biking), scenery, and excellent fishing! The property has many neat attractions nearby- Cuyuna bike trails, restaurants and grocery stores close by. Amenities worked very well, comfortable beds, keurig and espresso machine :) and a gas range with convection oven. Overall, our stay was very relaxing and just as peaceful as the photos showed! We highly recommend this property to those looking for a stress-free family getaway, those looking for a great property for pets and humans alike, or those looking for an amazing property with wonderfully hospitable owners like the Millers!

We loved our stay, and can't recommend it highly enough. The owners were helpful, friendly, and responsive. The place was clean and well-maintained, and the lakefront was absolutely beautiful. Our young kids enjoyed the jungle gym and hammocks nearly as much as they enjoyed the lake!

Quiet neighborhood with great lake views. Beds are very comfortable, extra soft sheets and new carpet with extra thick pad. Everything tidy and maintained. Very nice family and location. We had storms come through over the evening and we didn't hear anything. Road dead-ends a few places down so little or no traffic, good for walks and pet's. Lot's of deer, wild turkeys and Loons.

We very much enjoyed the property and the lake. The property was perfect for our family of 5. The lake was quite and peaceful. We would come back for a longer stay next time.
