We had a wonderful time on our multi-generational family vacation! The house was as described and the hosts were easy to communicate with and very responsive. The lake view is amazing. Great sunsets, fun on the canoe, and firepit nights were lovely! The house is well equipped with everything you need. The only downside was not being able to check-in until 5 pm. That's a bit later than most and we really didn't want to pay extra to check in earlier. Other than that, our stay was very nice. We had 12 in total with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms.

This property was fine with a couple of exceptions: 1) the rules were onerous - no check-in until 5 pm (which is after dark in western Michigan) unless you pay $50 per hour for earlier time, and penalty fees would apply with any late check-outs ($25 per 15-minute increments). I have never encountered anything like this before and we have rented plenty of places!
The house was very large and clean, but the common areas had no soft surfaces or drapes of any kind, and as a result, the noise level was very problematic. It was difficult to carry on a conversation when many were present in this large room.
Host was very responsive with all of my communications.
