Stay and home was very nice.

Me and my husband rented this property for the weekend for our 16th year anniversary just to relax and do nothing and watch the sunset and sunrise over the lake was a bonus beautiful location

Walking through the door gave us the first impression of clean and nicely decorated property. The rooms were in a great location to the kitchen and bathrooms. Thanks for the high quality toilet paper! The hot tub was nice even though the weather was cold and easy to use. We would for sure book again when in Celina.

Very nice place right on the lake and in my communications with the owner, she seemed very nice.
The were a few minor issues with plumbing, etc. But the main issue for us was the poor housekeeping, There was what appeared to be dog hair clearly visible on the 1st floor bedding along with human hair. The was also some hair in the freezer. Dead flies in light/fan fixtures. Dust all over window sills, ceiling fans, artificial plants, etc.
This place could easily get a 5 star rating but I can only give it 3 stars due to the lack of proper cleaning practices. Would like to stay again in the future, but only if I know the cleanliness will be greatly improved.

Clean, cozy and comfortable!!
Great views of the lake, especially from upstairs balcony. Perfect for a weekend get away or a longer stay. Kitchen provides everything you may need and cottage is close to shopping and restaurants. We would stay again and would recommend to family and friends.

Great place to get away and watch the scenery from the back patio. Property layout was amazing. Parking is a little difficult for large vehicles, would advise the listing to reflect info to avoid issues. Hot tub was a great feature. Would recommend some maintenance to the property but otherwise a great place to relax and enjoy the lake.

My husband and I enjoyed the relaxation and the gorgeous view. Its not far from town, but enough out of the way that you don't get much noise. It was peaceful, the hottub was perfect, and the kitchen was stocked well.

My husband and I visited the cottage for our 14 year wedding anniversary. The cottage was clean and cozy. The views were stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. It was so peaceful sitting on the dock with my morning cup of coffee. We also enjoyed the small downtown of Celina just 5 min away. We definitely recommend the Edgewater cottage!

I brought Matthew to the cottage for his birthday. The views are amazing, and it was very tranquil and serene. The perfect place to just rest and relax. It gave perfect opportunities to reconnect with self and each other. We will absolutely return as long as the cottage is available.

It was a good property. Good location about 6-8 mins from restaurants & shops. Not secluded, neighbors close by on both sides. But they were quiet, it rained the whole time so we werent out much.

We had a great stay at this lake front rental. We loved the views and relaxing on the deck and especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub.
Clean and cozy, with very comfortable beds in a nice quiet setting.
Communication was great, and we really appreciated them accommodating us with an early check in after our 9 hour drive from Maryland.
Conveniently located to many great shops & restaurants in Celina, and just a half hour drive to Eldora.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will be top of list for our next visit.

Very clean, well-appointed, lots of amenities in the cottage. Beautifully decorated, nice neighborhood, and the lake view is beautiful!! Very accomodating host and great communication. Lots of good places to eat and get a cold drink close by. Can't wait to return!!

We debated between two places to stay at and we couldn’t have made a better decision than Edge Water! The cottage is nice, clean, with wonderful lake views. It is also still convenient to shops and restaurants in Celina. We’d highly recommend!

We enjoyed our weekend. The hot tub is warm and inviting. Watching the sun come up in the mornings over the water from bed was a highlight. It's clear many people enjoy this place and it is well established from the guest book.
The cottage is right next to a nicer neighborhood that we went for a walks in.
We ate at:
Bella's Italian Grille - okay food, the service was nice, make sure to ask for a table by the window - the lake view is the best part, the women's bathroom is weird and the kids loved making their own pizza and the Spidy-Spritzer (grenadine and sprite).
The Fountain Restaurant - is the best reviewed restaurant in town according to Google Maps and it is clearly a local hangout. The food is mediocre and the people watching is suburb.
We loved getting some groceries and making food at the cottage the most. There is a Goodwill a couple minutes away and we picked up some games and puzzles to keep everyone entertained.
The only negatives were the overwhelming fragrance when we arrived, open windows cleared it out in an hour or two. Also, the windows hadn't been opened recently and were quite dusty.
It's a perfect size for a family of four.

We went for a girls trip and had an amazing time. The cottage is so cute! The hot tub was very nice. The bed were comfy as well. The downtown was super cute as well with some yummy places to go. It was very easy to check in as well. We would 100% go there again!

We were lucky to get to stay several days at this little gem. The location was perfect and the views did not disappoint. The hot tub was fantastic and the stars at night were beautiful. Close to shopping and plenty of choices if you want to dine out. We will definitely make plans to return!

The perfect girl’s weekend! This property provided everything that we needed for a quiet weekend away. The proximity of the cottage to the water is a lot closer than what it appears in the photos which was great because we were able to hear the sound of the waves crashing - it was quite windy during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the living room with the gas fireplace. We will definitely return.

Property itself was amazing and its location on the lake was perfection. The hot tub was the highlight of the stay especially since it was chilly. We struggled with food options and delivery but otherwise it was great.

It was awesome best view of the water!! Loved the jacuzzi it’s design for the lid was cool. Easy to get off and on.

The home was exactly as portrayed. Well equipped, comfortable bed, amazing views from the walkout deck in the bedroom and the back yard. Hot tub was wonderful and we loved the extra touches with the robes. The fireplace was so cozy. Thank you for the wonderful getaway. :-)

Great location, enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and watching the lake shimmer. Many restaurants in the area, some of them lake front too! Eileen was very responsive to our questions. We asked her to solve the thunder like sounds; turns out we were there for the beginning of duck season ;-). The smoke detector was very sensitive and went off every time we cooked. It was very nice having a bedroom and bathroom on each floor.

The pictures of the lake didn’t do it justice! Walking out the back door to the lake was incredible, it’s FEET from the porch. We loved waking up every morning and watching the sun rise over the lake. The hot tub, fire pit, and views were incredible. We will definitely be back next year!

This cottage was everything we needed for our stay. Quiet, comfortable and close to any amenity. We were in town for racing at Eldora and this was close enough so that we didn’t have a long drive to and from the track and when we got in late we weren’t bothering anyone and could fall right into a comfortable bed. Kitchen had anything you might need. Wifi was excellent. Will stay again next time we come.

This is very nice property. The fishing was good from the dock. However disappointed that there was no grill. Also the cookware was terrible. The house is great but if you plan on cooking, take some cook ware. I would recommend checking with owner if you have any special needs. We would stay here again. The place was really clean and the beds were excellent. If not for the lack of grill and cook ware would have given 5 stars.

The cottage was just as pictured. It was very clean and had all the items necessary for a great stay. The view was remarkable, the hot tub was very nice and the area was very quiet. We enjoyed a few of the local restaurants. Overall it was a wonderful get-a way and we would definitely rent the cottage again.

We have rented this adorable cottage every summer for about the past 10 years and hope to return again next year! The house is clean, comfortable, and fully stocked. The hot tub and private dock are perfect as well!

Hidden Gem
Absolutely Perfect!! It was everything we were told it was and all the reviews and comments left in the guest book we totally agreed with. The outside patio area - sitting on the banks of the lake was stunning, peaceful and we were sad to leave after only booking 3 nights! See you again soon!!

Lake Charm
The house is very cute and cozy. Only one thing I would recommend is the rug inside front door very sticky feeling - either a good wash or replacement. There was also quite a bit of sand on the floor. Other than those small things, the place was great!! The back patio area is beautiful 😍 Any time we have someone visiting us at the lake, if they are not staying in our camper, I would recommend this house!

Wonderful little get away!
I took a group of friends back to my hometown for a visit. Wonderful little cottage on the lake! The hot tub was a perfect way to relax by the lake! The houses were close together but the fence made it feel very private from the neighbors. We will definitely be coming back to this spot again!

We enjoyed our first trip to Grand Lake St. Mary's. This part of Ohio is so peaceful and clean and lovely. The people are so friendly! Our time spent at Maria Stein Shrine was the highlight. We definitely want to return there, as well as Do Good Restaurant and Ministry in Osgood. I asked the lovely hostess who seated us, "Is this Heaven?" Go there and you will understand! We sampled delicious brews at both Moeller Brew Barn and Lake Rat Brewing. Both had great and friendly service, so tip generously! A definite downer was the Boardwalk Grill. It is extremely crowded and loud and the service was so poor, we ended up leaving after waiting so long for our order to be taken. The martini special was poor as well. Though we are not biking enthusiasts per se, we enjoyed our visit to The Bicycle Museum of America.
The house had all we needed. It is clean and comfortable inside, and nicely furnished. It is private and quiet.
