The location of the house is perfect. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out in the house and the outside decks by the water were awesome. We will be back for sure

I stayed in this wonderful lake home the week before my son’s wedding at New Water Farm, and for several days after as the family celebrations continued. The home was convenient to the venue and everything we needed for last minute supplies. Beautiful lake views and the sunsets are spectacular. The owners are so friendly and responsive. In short, nothing could have been better. Thank you!

We had awful weather- literally torrential rain and we still had the BEST TIME! Owner was always polite and available for the few issues we had ( related to weather). There were only four of us that stayed because my sister’s family of 13 had rented a house next door. I would love to come back again and fill up those beds with more family. There is so much common space that would be perfect for extra large families. Also, due to weather, we didn’t get to use all the great amenities that came with the house for going out on the water, but still managed lots of laughs and relaxing time.

Our family from TN, SC, and PA M met to have fun and attend the PDU - Auburn football Game. Perfect spot for our kids to enjoy all the fun equipment. Great get together.

This property was beyond our expectations! It was very well equipped from the kitchen to the outdoors. The location was amazing because it is almost completely surrounded by water. Lots of SPACE inside and out!

This was our first time to Lake Martin and it didn't disappoint. The house and location was perfect for our family get together of 6 adults and 4 kids. We brought our pontoon and was easily kept at the private dock. Lots of extra fun stuff..lilypads, paddle boards etc. It was awesome. Beds were nice and comfy. The only negative was that every dinner plate we got out to use, had stuck on food. Dishwasher must need replacing. So we washed Everything before using. Other than that, a perfect vacay!

We have enjoyed this lake house several times and you can’t beat the property for lake access. It is ideal for having fun in or beside the lake. Family Getaway
Our family of 6 had the pleasure of spending the Thanksgiving holidays at this beautiful home recently. Everything is as pictured and more! The water view (even with the decreased water level for the season) was fantastic and truly surrounds you on three sides. We enjoyed just sitting out on the decks and taking in the views.
The house was very clean, the beds all comfortable and the amenities plentiful.
The kitchen was well-stocked and sufficient for us to be able to prepare and cook our Thanksgiving feast.
Highly recommend for families looking to enjoy the beautiful Lake Martin area.

The property was beautiful; especially, with the surrounding water. The main room was perfect for our family with the large screen television and seating. The view was amazing and we enjoyed our weekend very much.

Rainy Day Oasis
Despite constant rain from a tropical storm, the layout of this house easily accommodated our group and a everyone had a great time. I can't think of a better property for gathering with friends and family. We will be back!

Wonderful Labor Day Weekend
The closeness to the water is really convenient and really makes it easy to get all the "water toys" out of the house for our preteen children. Very large family room and eating area was very spacious for 6 adults and 4 children. Pictures on VRBO do not properly show how nice and convenient the property is.

Great inside & outside experience
Exactly what our family needed for a great, long weekend getaway on the lake. The house did have a great open kitchen, dining room area and family room perfect for gathering, gaming, sports watching or just relaxing. For us, it was all about the outdoor area and lake access. Great deck with plenty of seating and water toys. We brought our boat and loved being able tie up at the dock with very easy access to the lake.
Great job by owners Matthew and Annslee with excellent communications and the great 'homey' touches in the house.
I highly recommend to anyone looking for family venue on the lake.

Take the stress away and be blessed every day on the lake!
Selfishly I would like to keep the place from being too popular so we wouldn’t have any trouble coming back as much as possible. However the place is just a piece of paradise and has to be given deserved credit. It was more enjoyable than we even imagined. Having the deck lead to the water kept the kids (and the adults) busy but relaxed for hours!! The home is great for a large family gathering, space is perfectly designed with everything you would possibly need for your stay. Bring your swimsuit and come on! The house is on a beautiful point on one of the fingers of the lake so boat traffic was light. The lake itself is grand with many places to pull up on the boat and let the kids
swim and play. We definitely plan on return trips.

Multi-generation Vacation Spot
Our family gathered at Sunset Peninsula for a vacation on our favorite lake. The property works great for everyone ranging from 15 to 89 years old. We have vacationed at this property a couple of times previously and will definitely try to return again. The owners are great to work with and seem to have thought of everything!

Outstanding Stay
My group had a fantastic time in this house for a long weekend. It’s layout was perfect for a bigger group, and the location is beautiful. Everyone in my group was impressed and really enjoyed the layout. We created some great memories that weekend and big thanks to Matt and his family for lending it out to us!

Great house in nice small town
Our entire party thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is stocked with most everything you could possibly need and there is plenty of space for everyone. The outside spaces are very nice also and communication with the owner was quick and helpful. There was not one negative to our stay other than we wish we could stay longer. We ate at Niffers which was good but Table 34 was excellent and had the best shrimp and grits I’ve ever eaten and had awesome adult beverages! Lake Martin pizza was good too as was Nirvana coffee. The man at Dyed Pirates Society was super nice and gave my daughter several free gifts with her purchase. Highly recommend this house and the entire Dadeville community!
