This is an amazing place to stay!
It was very easy to communicate with Richard and Sharon. About a day or two before arrival they sent the 'key' to the condo and after check in I was in the condo and changing into shorts to hit the beach!
The property is across the street from Kamaole III and if you enjoy walking the beach you can walk right over to Kamaole II!
If you're wondering about what items you need to buy to have fun on the beach, the answer is none! That's not entirely accurate, you have to have your own food and beverage. :-) They do have chairs, umbrella's, coolers, goggles, fins, and boogie boards.
When you're back at the condo you'll enjoy a very roomy two bed two bath place. I enjoy cooking breakfast before heading out for the day and the kitchen had everything I needed!
If available I will definitely stay here again!

The grounds were beautiful! The location was excellent! The sunsets and snorkelling at the beach across the street were incredible. The views from lanai and building were as described in add. The condo was suitable for our needs. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Very nice condo for family staying. Can walk to Kamaole Park 3 beach. Close to good restaurants. Nice kitchen with good supply of pots and pans, dishes.
When we discovered the min AC didn't work, we contacted the host and he sent a AC service person the same day to fix it.
Would recommend this property to friends and family.
Unit has washer/dryer inside which is really great.

Nice resort. Big spacious condo. All the kitchen utensils you need. We BBQ’d a lot, and the grates were always clean. 2 minute walk to Kam 3 beach with a sandy entrance for great snorkeling or just relaxing on the beach. Always an awesome sunset.

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo! The layout was perfect for our family of 4 and there was lots of space for everyone. The kitchen was really well stocked with everything I needed to cook all our meals. The AC was very nice and the fans provided allowed for open patio doors and nice breezes. The beds were very comfortable in both rooms. We were also excited to find all we needed for the beach in the outdoor closet (chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, snorkel gear, sand toys, coolers). It was a great savings to not have to rent gear. Having a washer and dryer was also a great bonus so we could pack light. Starter toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, soap, dish soap and spices were also nice touches. Kamaole Sands is a great complex with a nice pool, beautiful grounds, and most importantly right across the beach from Kam 3 beach park where we spent lots of our time! It is also centrally located for most popular Maui excursions. We would definitely stay here again if lucky enough to come back to Maui!

Very convenient and safe, easy beach access, well-appointed with beach stuff, responsive owners, note there is a fee at check-in that we didn’t expect ($41.67), great to have separate beds for the kids, in walking distance of Kihei stores and restaurants. Had an awesome time here!

The grounds of Kamaole Sands is absolutely gorgeous, very well maintained. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly! The condo itself was well equipped and suited our family of 5 perfect! The owners were very easy to work with and responded to us in a timely manner when we reached out with questions before our arrival. Thanks again, we will be back!!

This place is amazing. Updated! The kitchen is awesome for when you want to save some money and eat in. In the heart of Kihei when you want to eat out. Everything is easy to get to, some of the best beaches are minutes away. The place was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This place was in a perfect location. Kamaole beach is amazing! 5 minutes from Wailea and the most beautiful beach walk. Checking in was so easy didn’t need to communicate with the owner he provides all the information ahead of time and is very precise. He supplies the all the beach necessities which is awesome. Will definitely book again.

Great condo to stay in! The location was great, the resort is across the street from the beach. There was plenty of beach equipment for us to use such as boogie boards, snorkels, umbrella, coolers, towels. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of extra bedding, pillows, and blankets for the pull out couch. My friends and I would definitely stay here again.
We did have a few issues with some of the drains. I contacted the host and the issues were fixed the next day and we were not required to be present while the repairman was there.

The condo was beautiful! Perfect central location for touring, plenty of beaches nearby. Partial view of the ocean in one direction and Haleakala in the other. The grounds are amazing and the concierge service poolside have great recommendations. Plenty of grills and tables set up throughout the grounds for use. Highly recommend!!

Our stay here was great! We were pleasantly surprised to find the lanai well stocked with beach toys, chairs and snorkel gear to enjoy just a short walk across the road to a sandy beach. The kitchen has everything you can need to prepare meals. We also appreciated the well stocked linens and having a washer/dryer in this unit.
The pool and hot tubs are located near the center of the resort making it relatively easy to enjoy.
The location of this unit and resort are easy to find and for our family was perfect!

This place was perfect for a family vacation. Plenty of space for all of us (5), with the older girls each having their own beds sharing the second bedroom and bathroom. The sleeper sofa was suitable for my 10 yr old son who enjoyed waking up to the tropical breeze. Overall, this place is well-equipped, clean, comfortable, and a good location.

We could not ask for more for a Maui vacation home. The condo looks better than the pictures. It is 3 minutes walk to the Kam III beach, very clean, and well stocked. Kam III beach has big waves in the afternoon during our early August stay, and my kids enjoyed boogie boarding very much there. Communication was great. We need a couple of small things, and the manager sent them over quickly. It is convenient to get to multiple destinations from Kihei (the airport, Haleakela, Road to Hana, etc). The pull out sofa bed was comfortable enough for my daughter and me, both pretty slim. I suppose a heavy person will not be as well supported.

The condo was great & perfect for our family! We love the lanais (was out there every day) and the owners provided for everything we needed - from kitchen/laundry stuff to boogie boards/beach chairs. We did have an issue with the Wifi but Rich promptly resolved it by having someone local to handle it. The condo was across the street from the beach and was walking distance to shops & restaurants. The only thing not perfect was the noise-level of the maintenance (trash trucks, cleaning crews) that the resort had, so be aware of that. But overall, it was a great experience for our first time in Maui!

Location was amazing!! Accommodations were good but could use some updating in mattresses for master bed and sofa bed. Purchased and donated bath towels as there were not enough. Air condition was awesome!!! Two balconies was a plus for morning and evening coffee w/I disturbing sofa sleepers!! Very safe location and grounds staff were all friendly and helpful!! Looking forward to returning again soon!!!!

The perfect place for a family get away
I would give this property six stars if I could. Upgraded and comfortable it was the perfect place for our family holiday. We have stayed in many units of the Kamaole Sands over the years and this unit was by FAR the nicest one we have ever stayed in. Tastefully decorated and well outfitted it was perfect.

The beds were comfortable, water pressure was wonderful, and the air condition worked wonderfully when we needed it. It was great to have 3 separate units so that we could cool a room as needed. The complex and check-in staff were friendly too. Seriously, we would rent this unit again in a heartbeat! Thank you Sharon & Rich for a wondrful stay!!!

AMAZING!
This is an AMAZING property to stay out. Pictures and write-up's don't do it justice. This is a RESORT - they have the most amazing grounds (they have a team of groundskeepers that maintain the property), the pool area is spectacular (there is a kiddie pool, regular pool, family hot tub, adult only hot tub). There is a concierge desk at the pool (get ALL your attractions passes here - he has better deals than elsewhere (we found this out as he had better prices than the people in Lahaina). They resort also partners with the Ocean Center and they have a Turtle Talk (this is not a kiddies talk, but run by an ocean scientist) every week at the pool area (Hint: go to this as there are nice give-aways), they also do FREE tennis lessons every Friday with real tennis Pro's. Our 15 year old LOVED this and now wants to play tennis!
The condo is by far, the BEST place we've ever stayed out. It is so well stocked! Boogie boards for body surfing, masks and snorkel sets, etc.
I had one issue when I was there as I couldn't figure something out and the hosts responded RIGHT AWAY.
I would DEFINATELY stay at this property again and this unit as everything from our check-in to check-out was so smooth. We treated this property like our own home as we would love to return here.
