Clean with beautiful view

Cabin was very nice and comfortable. We felt at home. We enjoyed the pontoon.

Beautiful views! Perfect place for a relaxing week.

Based on our search parameters, we searched high and low for the perfect cabin and thought this was it. Lake access/view? Check! Pet friendly? Also check. We were prepared for *cabin-y* yes - but not for the neglected state we encountered. Examples: facility lacked adequate sheets/bedding for the number of people it’s supposed to sleep. A cutting board is a kitchen basic, yet there was none to be found. Had to purchase a hairdryer, though listing stated it had one (the owner kindly offered to bring one out, but had already bought). Out of the 8 deck/screen porch chairs, one was completely broken, three others leaned back to the extent they were unusable, while remaining furniture was barely adequate, certainly not comfortable. And due to no hose on the property - before using, we needed to clean by hand the four chairs/side table located in fire pit area, as well as overgrown and cobwebby surroundings there. The screens on the porch were illustrative of the general vibe at this cabin (see photos) and definitely detracted from what should have been the pleasant and calming lake view. In short, it’s our view that the listing is misleading and the property overpriced.
