We stayed at this property with our 2 daughters for our recent Maine visit. The weather was really warm and having AC was very nice. LOVED being able to go in the water at the rocky beach and sit and overlook the harbor. The bugs were out in full force in the evening so having a screened in porch was nice. The house was spacious. My daughter’s loved the library room. Very easy to drive to Rockland and Camden for restaurants and shopping. Owls Head lighthouse was great to visit.

We loved this house and will be back again! The location to Rockland and Camden was super easy. Plenty of beaches, restaurants, shopping and summer fun. The house has 4 bedrooms that are nice and spread out, plenty of room for a family or larger group. Communication with owner was very easy and straight forward. The location was spectacular! You can't beat the waterfront access for shelling and watching the sunset over the water with a fire pit every night was so relaxing. Love this location!

This home is located on 7 beautifully mowed and maintained grounds, wild roses, hydrangeas about to burst into bloom… The lawn reaching down to the water overlooking Rockland Harbor… there are multiple choices of dining areas! And the kitchen is cooking friendly. The bedrooms, bathrooms…modern and comfortable… a/c ‘s are new and aplenty. We were delighted with our stay.

We had a beautiful vacation in the most peaceful setting. Love the view of harbor, walking along the shoreline and watching the sunset from patio. Home is lovely and comfortable. Hated to leave and will definitely come back for more R&R.

The house is very large and had plenty of space for 5 adults. The outdoor firepit was sensational.

This spacious house has it all. We had bonfires and fireplace fires. There was everything we needed to cook seafood from Jess’s market. Owlshead lighthouse, the ferry to Vinalhaven, the lobster shack in Vinalhaven and the restaurants in Rockland were just a few of the memorable places we visited.

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing property. The location is ideal, the house easily accommodates 4 people, and is fabulous, and our favorite thing to do was to sit out in the adirondack chairs and watch the sailboats in the harbor. The property features rolling lawns that go all the way down to the water. Quite spectacular! Don't miss this one.

We stayed here five years ago and our boys wanted to return. The property is amazing and the house is fantastic…everything one could possibly need. Steve and Rosie are great to work with if you have any questions or concerns. So much to do within 10 minutes to two hours north or south…and the lobster and seafood…outstanding!

The description of this property won't and can't possibly effectively describe this property. There is too much to say, too many benefits to list, too much beauty to describe. To put it simply, this property is the quintessential idyllic Maine experience. Further, the grounds are amazing, bedroom configurations are perfect (featuring two master bedrooms), as well as a modern kitchen, formal dining & living area along with a low key family and dining room. For my family we couldn't ask for a more perfect property. We especially enjoyed the carefully curated library, beautiful short walk to the beach & updated bathrooms. The property was spotless and clearly well cared for. Hosts were kind and genuinely wanted our experience to exceed our expectations, and they did. There is so much more to say about this very special property, my best advice is stop looking for another VRBO, I am absolutely positive that this property is the best VRBO available on the coast of Maine.

We had a great stay in Owls Head. Amazing views of the ocean from nearly every room in the house and a short stroll right down to the water. House had everything we needed. Lots of spots to lounge and relax, and the beds were very comfortable. Had fun shopping for antiques, vintage clothing, and art in Rockland and hiking in Camden State Park. Owls Head Transportation Museum is fantastic and perfect for a rainy day. Highly recommend In Good Company and Primo if you get tired of cooking dinner. Hope to be back soon!

Two couples stayed in the house in November 2020. The location is fabulous. The house is beautifully decorated and spotless. The rooms were big and we used the fireplace each night. Recommend for couples or families.

We loved our month long stay at this property! It was spacious, clean, comfortable and relaxing. It has great outdoor spaces: access to the water for kayaking. We loved sitting out by the fire pit looking at the harbor and at the stars at night. The fireplace in the living room and the one in the TV room by the kitchen made each room so cozy. We enjoyed grilling out many nights. The location is great. It was very convenient to be close to down but still have lots of space. I loved biking to Birch Beach and going for a swim. We loved that the house is next door to a paddock with horses, goats, and chickens! The host was very gracious and friendly. I highly recommend staying here and looking forward to staying there again.

Wonderful house with maritime, mountain or meadow views from every window. Well stocked with necessities. Comfortable seating areas. Everything to ask for in short rental.
