Grande Bay is the perfect location. The owner just finished a remodel of the kitchen and bathroom, and everything looks wonderful!

Seaside had everything we needed for our 10 day stay. Tracy thought of everything and was always available if we had questions. The location was perfect for getting around the island. We could walk to restaurants, bars and shops. Taxis were always available for going to all the beautiful beaches. Loved the Windmill Bar and the beautiful views. Will definitely stay here again when we return.

We have stayed on St. John multiple times and we must say that you cannot beat the location of this rental. It is so convenient to all of Cruz Bay and the parking space was a treat! The condo was clean and very well appointed and Tracy provided us with everything that we needed. We definitely want to stay here again. Thanks again for everything!

We stayed at Seaside 11/5/22/-11/12/22. The unit is so convenient to town, restaurants, beaches. The unit was clean and comfortable. We rented the 1 Br suite. There are beach chairs, coolers, beach towels for your use. The kitchen is completely ready for meals in if you desire. The mattress was comfortable (both my husband and I have chronic back issues) The ice maker worked great. We ordered our grocery supplies from Landlubber since we were not renting a car. It worked out perfectly and was so great not to have to go to the store after a 12 hour trip getting there. There are lots of little extras, like coozies in the drawer, toilet paper for the week, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent. This was a perfect spot for 2 people. It would be a bit tight for any extras. The property manager answered all of my questions and emails promptly. Great place to stay.

Fabulous stay!
Rarely does a VRBO experience exceed expectations, but this beautiful, perfectly set up, terrifically located property did so. The place is bigger than it looks in pictures, and has everything (and I mean everything!) you might need for a restful stay in St. John. (And yes the washer-dryer worked great.) It was an easy, level 5-minute (at most) walk to town, restaurants, taxi-stand, park visitor center, etc. etc. but given its locale I found it surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The view from the balcony over the harbor was soothing and lovely. And the pool on top of the admin building boasted a gorgeous view, particularly of sunset. After a day of snorkeling or hiking or sight-seeing, it was a great spot to relax and reflect on the day. I ended up being there by myself and felt safe and comfortable at all times. I didn't rent a car but found the wonderful Chico (whom Tracy recommended) a reliable driver (even for a 6:45 am bird walk!) as were the many other open-air taxi drivers in town that took me all around the island for snorkeling, hiking and boating adventures. Tracy was extremely responsive to any inquiry, and I couldn't have asked for a nicer stay. Will definitely stay here again and recommend highly to others.

Perfect location
We enjoy staying at Grand Bay primarily because of its location and parking. So convenient. It’s also nice to have a kitchen and washer/dryer in the unit.

My stay at Grand Bay
Have stayed in this complex before but never in front building . Enjoyed the view of the bay from my balcony. Thought unit should have had small table or coffee table to eat as I was not able to sit at high counter. Also was not able to vacuum before I left. Was never asked to clean before.

Thanksgiving in St. John
St. John and our stay at Grande Bay was amazing. Tracy was a fantastic host! Every need or want was thought of and her place was perfect for our family. We will be back again!

Property was as advertised.
Loved the unit. Close to everything. Was met at ferry dock by greeter and escorted the short walk to property as requested. Property was clean and had everything we needed. Definitely would recommend and will stay there again without question!

Perfect
I’ve been to St. John multiple times and this was by far the best location and best set up for a relaxing stay. Not only is the location prime but there’s a great clean pool and amazing beach side view. We had an amazing time and look forward to returning again soon. I would stay here again. They have everything you need. The a/c didn’t work but we didn’t mind because the trade winds were perfect and we could hear the water and beach from our room. This is the place to stay and well worth the money.

Wonderful residence and location
Look no further. My wife and I have stayed at Seaside 4x and hope for many returns. Seaside is a nicely appointed, well equipped, and quiet residence perfect for a little rejuvenation from your sun and fun. The unit has everything that you will need to enjoy your stay, including a lovely outdoor patio overlooking Cruz Bay that is perfect for a sunset, grill-out, and maybe a bottle of wine from Island Cork. Tracy has always been so accessible in answering questions and helping us learn more about St John. Although we have never met her in person, my wife and I definitely know we are valued guests that could reach out any time prior/during/after our stay for any reason regarding our visit. The location of this residence means nothing when reading about it or Google mapping, but from someone that has been there multiple times, believe me there are none better. Five minutes (with luggage) from the ferry dock unless you make a pit stop for a “we made it” welcome drink (highly recommended). Incredibly easy access to anything and everything in Cruz Bay, or the taxi stand to get you around the island. Come back SOON everyone, the island is in remarkably good shape and needs us/you to continue on that path. #LoveCityStrong

The condo was amazing -- very clean, nicely decorated, perfectly situated. The location was ideal -- beautiful view of the water and an easy walk anywhere in Cruz Bay. I highly recommend it!!! No issues whatsoever.

Great Visit!
About everything is perfect, the location, cleanliness, having a big kitchen, and washer/dryer. The view is great and being able to walk to Cruz Bay is very nice.
We found ourselves not using the Jeep we rented due to the great location. Tracy is great to work with as well and was super helpful and understanding of pre arrival issues.
Very Happy and plan to rent again when we return.

1st visit, but will not be the last!
A fantastic condo on a great island. Not sure what we can say about this place, that hasn't already been said.The location is perfect, just steps from the ferry dock and from bars and restaurants. We rented a jeep for only a few days, it was great to have an assigned parking spot. Tracy was great to work with. She also gave us tips and advice since we had not been to St John before. There was also a book of menus inside the unit, which helped us decide on where to have dinner. The condo was beautiful, loved sitting on the balcony eating breakfast each morning watching the boats in the harbor get ready for the day. It was so nice to have beach towels, a cooler and beach chairs provided. Would not hesitate to recommend . Really looking forward to when we can visit again!

WHAT A GREAT LOCATION! Few steps away from great restaurants and bars. Condo had all the amenities we were expecting even beach chairs and cooler. Great to have parking space for our rented car. Kitchen was well equipped and furnishings are just right. Very comfortable. Tracey, the owner, was more than helpful in helping us make our reservation. Will definitely rent this condo in the future. We were met at the condo by property manager who was pleasant and helpful. Great experience all around!!!

Fabulous condo on an amazing island!
We are thrilled with this condo and in awe that a place like St. John still exists. A year ago, I was looking for a fun and romantic spot to spend our 25th wedding anniversary. My thrill seeking husband wanted something with adventure and I wanted to be relaxed, comfortable (with a little adventure too). We found the perfect spot. Tracy was so fun and helpful with all of my questions and planning (about the condo and the island) and Rachelle the property manager was as nice as can be. The Villa managers called me ahead of time and helped me reserve the dinghy and my snorkel gear. Our favorite things were 1) renting a dinghy and snorkeling at Waterlemon Cay and Trunk Bay 2) Driving to Lamshure and snorkeling, then to Salt Pond to hike the Ram Head trail, then snorkeling Salt Pond and eating burgers at Skinny Legs. 3) Dinner at Zozo's was unbelievably good and the view and the donkeys walking around…incredible! It is great that the National Park keeps up the roads and beaches so well. It is a VERY special island. This condo is in the perfect location and will not disappoint. Thank you Tracy!

Girls trip 2015
Beautiful property! This is my second stay with these owners, and they do not disappoint. The room is clean, beds comfortable. It's great to have laundry available in the room. The parking is convenient to get to the room. A short walk to shopping, dining, local beach bars hosting local bands. So many beaches to see and so little time! Close walk to go on excursions of sailing, scuba, snorkelling, or just day trips. Highly recommend this place. I hope to get back very soon!

A slice of paradise
This place is awesome!! The view is absolutely gorgeous overlooking the bay. The condo had everything that we could need. It is within walking distance from shopping and restaurants. Perfect location. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent!
My daughter and I took a week to get away and celebrate her birthday. We both enjoyed our time at your rental immensely. We very much appreciate the rental afforded us. Our day would start watching the sun rise and listening to the sounds of the waves in Cruz Bay less than 100 feet from our balcony. When the rising sun had illuminated the hills on the opposite side of the bay and the masts of the anchored ships in the bay it was breakfast time. We would have fresh fruit on the balcony. The area around Cruz Bay was perfect for an hour or two hike for exercise and pleasant conversation. Later in the morning we would hail a cab and go to one of the cays and swim and snorkel for a few more hours or hail a cab and tour the island and then return to the room. After a shower and a rest we could go shopping through the town to the many small shops and browse about to our curiosity's content. Later in the afternoon we had a number of restaurants to choose from and enjoy. The day would usually end with a stroll through town and a conversation or two with those we would meet. Everything was as promise or better. It was a most relaxing and quiet vacation. We thank you for sharing your facilities with us and recommend them for anyone who wishes a quiet relaxing escape. There are many other activities for the adventurous if you so desire but our vacation was intended to relax. The island is beautiful and the people there are most kind and helpful. My daughter and I have always tried to do something special together every few years to create memories and this was one of those places we will always have good memories of. Thank you again for your rental.

Beautiful St John at Seaside
My husband and I stayed in Seaside in early December for a belated 40th anniversary trip. This was his first trip to St John, I had been here 6 years earlier for a girls vacation. He loved it and we both enjoyed the Seaside one bedroom condo. What a wonderful place to stay, so clean, comfortable with high end amenities. We loved using the Grande Bay,hot tub and pool area in the mornings and stopping for a cup of coffee on the second floor lobby area. Everyone at Grande Bay were so gracious and helpful. But for us the absolute best part was the location!! Everything was so close and so enjoyable to walk to to whether it was morning breakfast (We loved the Landing near the ferry park for breakfast) or the Happy Hour ($3 drinks) at Joe's Rum Hut along with great food. Shops were wonderful and we always enjoyed the walks whether it was morning or late night. If we needed a few food/drink items we walked the hill to the Dolphin Market. The view of Cruz Bay is so nice to have from the front balcony. We had some evenings in the condo as well as out in the town area. We rented a jeep for one day (great to have a garage spot for our jeep rental that was included with the condo) to tour the island at Annaberg Sugar Mill, lunch at Skinny Legs and view the Coral Bay areas along with Maho and Hawksnest Beaches. Otherwise we took the taxis to other beaches. St John is truly a different island experience, so quaint, so many beautiful beaches, wonderful town and best of all the location we called home for six nights, Seaside, at Grande Bay. Thank you Tracy for all your help in renting the condo, etc. It was a "grand" couple vacation.

Love St John
This was my first time to St. John and my first time renting a vacation property. I loved St. John and this condo was amazing! Great location, walk out the door and you are in town. We rented a jeep to get to the different beaches otherwise we walked everywhere. The condo is in an ideal location to shops and amazing restaurants. It was clean and comfortabl. The friends I was with actually said they would prefer to rent this condo vs the one they had because it felt relaxed and homey. Tracy was fabulous and responsive to any questions. I am already planning for next year!!

20th wedding anniversary stay at St. John
We normally come to St. John with a small group, but this time it was just my wife and I as we were celebrating our 20 anniversary. We decided to give Grande Bay a try and we were so glad we did. Tracy was so easy to work with and checking in cannot get any easier when staying at Grande Bay as it’s only a two minute walk from the ferry. Since we were right in Cruz Bay we waited until the following morning to pick up our jeep rental which saves a day rental. Can’t tell you how great it is have a covered parking space right in Cruz Bay reserved just for you. We only rented the jeep for 4 days since you can always catch a taxi right in Cruz Bay. This was our 5th time to St. John and this was the best stocked kitchen out of all the villas we stayed at. I’m not talking cheap stuff, I’m talking high quality. Also, we did not see one bug in the Seaside, unless you count a mosquito or two we let in going in and out to the balcony. We ate every breakfast on the balcony and watched the pelicans dive in the water for their breakfast. We must have had about 15 beach chairs to pick from which all seemed practically brand new. The central A/C in Seaside was also the best we’ve ever had on the island. We also liked being right in Cruz Bay because we could quickly wash up after a day at the beach and hit a happy hour and not worry about the drive back to the villa. We liked Joe’s Rum Hut happy hour the best which is $3.00 and you name the drink. Heck, you could get Patron Margaritas if you wanted.
Bottom line is if you want to stay in Cruz Bay and want luxury accommodations at a reasonable price give Seaside at Grande Bay a try.

Our New Favorite Vacation Rental
We booked Seaside as our first Grande Bay experience. After 30+ visits to St. John over 20 years we have enjoyed staying in every corner of our favorite island in every accommodation imaginable, from camping to celebrity villas. Being able to stay right on Cruz Bay Beach with a reserved parking spot is great. Even better is staying in this beautifully decorated condo. The owner has created a very comfortable environment that was perfect for two couples.
The reservation process could not have been easier. Checking in was incredibly easy. We just popped in to the Grande Bay office and grabbed our key cards. The villa was stocked with extra bath and beach towels. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linens were very nice. I love the large size of the queen bedroom and the convenience of having a desk and sofa in that room. We found leftover condiments and other kitchen supplies. We used the full kitchen every morning for breakfast and enjoyed our coffee on the veranda watching Cruz Bay wake for the day. The kitchen has a great workflow and a very large refrigerator and freeze with ice maker. As a restaurant owner and active home cook, I was impressed with the quality of the cookware, dishes, silver and even the Tervis insulated tumblers. My number one pet peeve, dull kitchen knives, was not a problem at all. This is a great kitchen for entertaining.
I love a villa for big groups. But, the convenience of a reserved parking spot in Cruz Bay and being able to take the elevator to Motu and the Beach Bar is great for us. We spent time in East End and Coral Bay, but only used a 1/2 tank of gas in a week. We actually stayed out later than we have on past trips because of the ease of heading home when we were ready, one at a time or as a group. We'll be back to this condo.

Thank you for sharing your condo "Seaside" with us. We love visiting St. John and for us Grande Bay Resort is the best place to stay. It's great being able to walk to town within 100 yards and have all the resturants, bars, shops & ferry boats right there. "Seaside" has an awesome view of the harbor with the balcony overlooking all the boats coming in and out and listening to the waves lapping on the shoreline. Your condo has all the amenities anyone would need during a stay from beach chairs & cooler to a comfortable bed & towels or pot/pans & coffee maker you have it all. Thanks again and you will be hearing from us again soon!!!
