Picturesque Cottage in Pretty Marsh.
Questo incantevole cottage si trova in una zona pittoresca dell'isola del deserto del Monte. Più vicino al "lato tranquillo" di Mount Desert Island è vicino al villaggio di Somesville, l'isola di Bartlett's atterraggio e parte del parco nazionale di Acadia. Il cottage ha un piano aperto con una cucina, sala da pranzo e soggiorno che si affacciano sul ponte. Ci sono 2 camere da letto al piano di sotto, uno con un letto matrimoniale e l'altro con due letti singoli. Un soppalco aperto dispone di 2 letti singoli.

Great stay and beautiful place! It was my fault for not checking well enough to see that the cabin is heated by a wood stove. But other than that it was a beautiful stay

Loved this cute cabin and all of the thoughtful things our host/hostess had left! Beds were comfortable and all was as described. Could’ve stayed here for a much longer time!

The cabin was located a reasonable distance from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. We enjoyed our visit to the area.

The cabin was clean and spacious. The kitchen was very well stocked. The owner was kind and responsive. The only caveat is while we were there, there were 3-4 nights the temps got down to 40 outside and we could not keep the cabin to a comfortable temp. We used the wood stove ( and had plenty of firewood) ,but couldn’t seem to get the place warm. There were space heaters , but we didn’t feel safe sleeping with them on , especially with toddlers. We ended up taking turns staying awake so that we could have the space heaters on, which did help. There are also electric blankets , but we did not have the toddlers use those either. Would definitely recommend staying here during warmer months because it is a nice cabin, we just weren’t able to keep it warm.
