Storico, bellissimo 4000 s. f. casa con oltre un acro di lussureggianti giardini tropicali. Pavimenti e soffitti in legno in tutto. Situato a El Batey, Fajardo, PR., Formalmente una piantagione di zucchero, The Hacienda era un luogo di ritrovo dove si poteva trovare un grande avvolgimento intorno alle terrazze davanti e dietro dove la gente andava a godersi la fresca brezza tropicale e visitare i vicini di passaggio. Il quartiere ha stretti legami storici con la piantagione di canna da zucchero di Fajardo. La casa dispone di 3 ampie camere con 12 piedi soffitti. Ogni stanza è di 250 s. f. Ogni camera ha un lussuoso letto queen size. Una camera dispone di un letto aggiuntivo a rampa singola e le altre due possono avere una culla per il sistema di cavi bungy di fascia alta disponibile. La casa ha 3 e 1/2 bagni. La piscina ha un bagno e una doccia esterna. L'area del bar ha un lavandino pieno e bicchieri per le bevande.

We had a wonderful family vacation with three generations at the Hacienda. Sally communicated very well with us before we arrived and during our stay. Her home is conveniently located near El Yunque, beaches and restaurants. The house is charming, filled with gorgeous artwork and has all the modern amenities we needed; the kitchen is fully stocked and the bedrooms are comfortable. The outdoor grill and kitchen are perfect for our family meals. We spent a lot of time in the pool and on the patio in the evenings. We enjoyed walking in the gated community and I went for walks to the marina. Sally responded to any issues that came up immediately. She supplied us with diapers for the toddler and a brand new Pack n Play with sheets! Everyone was happy with our decision to rent this place.

The pool, pool house/outdoor kitchen, and back patio were amazing! We spent almost all of our time outside. My 8 and 6 year old daughters loved the pool and having a restroom in the pool house was very convenient. The grill was brand new which was great. The yard is very private & beautiful and we enjoyed daily visits from hen & chicks, rooster, lizards and a sleepy cat who would nap along the back wall. Very convenient to Luquillo, El Yunque, and excursions. Would love to visit this VRBO again! One note - it was very hard for us to find using the address and linked map from VRBO, I’d suggest getting detailed directions w/landmarks (like Burger King or the college for example) from Sally a day or so in advance so you know you’re heading to the correct neighborhood! Once we found it everything else was perfect!

Sally was MORE THAN accommodating, great host. Our only issue, the floors were unsafe and there was deferred maintenance around the home. We were traveling with an older crowd, and we were very worried about walking on the floors. We ended up paying for two nights but only stayed for one. The outdoor area was beautiful.
