Our family all lives in Colorado but we wanted to find a place that could hold around 20 of us for the weekend. This place was fully furnished and perfect for our family with the teenagers staying in the basement in the bunk bends, the older couples staying on the main floor and the younger couples on the upper level. Everyone worked as advertised (tvs, internet, etc.). It sits high over Manitou but we could easily walk and/or drive to downtown. We're considering booking at again for us next year.

We loved the location and the house. It did have some spiders and cobwebs. A couple of the beds were very uncomfortable and probably need replacing. One of the rooms the heat did not work. It was perfect for what we needed. The hot tub was clean and the appliances all worked.

absolutely amazing house! not only was it large enough for everyone to have their own space but it had all the accommodations for us, towels, toilet paper, we didn’t need to bring anything extra. the home was extremely clean, check out was super easy and they allowed us to check in three hours early! would 10/10 recommend.

The price is lovely once you find it. It is tough to see after dark. I recommend arriving early. Check-in and check-out was super easy.

I have never stayed at a property so well-equipped as Waltons Mountain Lodge. It had really anything and everything that one could imagine, as far as the kitchen goes, including crockpots, 2 different types of coffee makers, plenty of dishes, mixer, utensils, etc. They even had 2 card tables in the basement, which came in handy for our family euchre tournament. Even though there were only 3 full baths and 1 half bath for 19 of us adults, we never had any problems with sharing the baths.
This is a great home for such an event as ours, which I would highly recommend to anyone looking for such a venue.

Sprinkles came on while we were playing a family game in the front yard and the ceiling fan in the master bedroom makes a noise. Otherwise our visit was great. Thank you,

Everything about our stay was wonderful. There was plenty of space. The main floor master bedroom and bathroom was perfect for the grandparents, the young adults enjoyed the hot tub, we all love the breeze and the views. The Hot Air Balloon festival was going on so several morning we were treated to about 20 balloons in the sky down the valley. The kitchen had more than enough supplies for our bbq meal. Location is convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, USAFA (30 min away). We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The owner was superfast with responses to my emails.

Everyone loved it! We reconnected from Arizona, Nebraska, California and Colorado, and had a wonderful weekend. Beautiful view off the deck. Plenty of space for games, meals and watching football. The hot tub and the sunsets were the highlight.

We were there celebrating my oldest son's 40th birthday and with a total of 22 people, (including children ages 10 months - 15 years old) the house was perfect. The weather wasn't real hot so the portable air conditions worked pretty good. We had a question about a refill tank for the grill and John promptly helped us. My communication with John made the stay very comfortable. Thank you, John!!

Property was perfect! You can watch the zip lines from the back porch through the trees! Was the perfect space for a family gathering, close to town but so quiet and peaceful.
The small cottage in front of the house had a couple staying there but we rarely saw them.

This place was amazing! The house was HUGE and well kept. Beds were comfortable, linens nice and towels soft! Kitchen, bathrooms and laundry were well stocked. Portable air conditioners were appreciated. We were allowed to check in a little early and met the owner and his wife. Very accommodating. The trip up the mountain was well worth it.

This was a delightful mountain hideaway property that fit the needs of our large family perfectly. Delightful location; well stocked; great views. We were a large group and all were very well pleased with the property.

This house and cottage was amazing for our family reunion! Some had trouble finding it due to fear of heights in the dirt road up to the property. But after finding it the first time (look for cottage and park there), we were able to come and go easily. There were games and activities at the house, and in less than 5min we were in Manatu enjoying shipping, arcades, and spring water! An amazing trip all around and the lodge offered all the space and options we needed to accommodate our large family!

This house was very comfortable for us. We had plenty of room. The kitchen has all you need. We enjoyed dinners outside on the deck which is surrounded by beautiful mountain terrain. We enjoyed the hot tub. Lots of room to make family memories! Thank you!

Spacious home. Secluded. Views! Ample parking. All the amenities. Close to everything. Friendly, attentive and responsive managers. We enjoyed our time there and recommend it to anyone, especially large families/groups.

Great location…minutes from Garden of gods…North Pole amusement park…Cog-rail to Pikes Peak….a very quaint and roomy lodge nestled in the hills west of Colorado Springs. Superb for our family reunion.

My Brothers and I had our reunion at this location. Couldn't have picked a better spot. Everything was clean and ready for us. Looking forward to coming back and staying again

My brothers and I met along with some of our kids/grandkids for a reunion. We had family traveling from Montana, Texas, Arizona and Missouri. The house was well equipped including a high chair for the little ones. Walton's Mountain Lodge is perfectly located. We had quick access to downtown, hiking, tourist opportunities and the airport. The kitchen was well equipped! We had 14 adults and 2 babies staying there, but there was definitely room for more. We would stay there again, in fact, my niece is looking into staying this fall with her family.

We had a really nice time playing games and loved the ping ping. There was plenty of space for the 16 of us to spread out. Several people enjoyed the near by zip line( the zip line company gave us a nice discount). There were a few maintenance issues that we had to deal with but it didn't ruin a good time.

Hot tub was hot, location was gorgeous, lodge beds were comfy and clean. Easy to get into town for dinner and plenty of room for our entire team of 18. Thank you for allowing us to start the farming season off right!

Our church board had a weekend of dreaming and long-range planning, and this place was perfect to help us get away and think. For our group of 7, the space was great, and everything was as we'd hoped. We'll certainly plan to come here again.

My family of 15 of all ages couldn’t wait to get to the cabin to pick out our rooms! That’s a tradition no matter where we go. From the views to the abundant space, the hot tub and the ping pong table. This cabin is perfect! Fully furnished just bring your luggage and your good to go! We enjoyed everything about the cabin. Also the quaint little town of manitou is so precious and just cool to walk around and shop and eat! Thank you for to the owner for making sure we had Christmas decorations up. It really made our movie nights in the living room even more special. We WILL be back!

The house had most everything we needed. We could have used another roll of paper towels. One roll for 5 adults and 4 children was not enough for three days.
The house would feel much better and livable if it was updated, it is worn out in some ways. It is dated in decor and in finishes. I was a bit disappointed.

The property was everything we had hoped for! It was located close to several attractions we visited. The hot tub was a hit! We played a lot of ping pong and Foosball. We even used the grill for cooking steaks for dinner. There were plenty of rooms for everyone to have their own space and the large open area let us spend time together.

This was the third time our whole family spent at Walton’s mountain lodge for thanksgiving. We come from Iowa and Colorado. We all look forward to coming every other year, even the youngest children. The lodge is idea for our large group and this year we rented the. Outage as well. Having an extra two bedrooms and kitchen was very welcome. The host, David Walton is extremely helpful and very accommodating. The fooseball and ping pong tables inspired some very competitive games. The hot tubs were a big hit, too.
We highly recommend staying here.

We had a great time staying at the lodge. There was plenty of room for our large group. The only thing that wasn't available that would be nice to have ( I brought mine along because I knew I would want it!) is a large size electric skillet. (Mine is 12" x 16") They have large stove top skillets, but none of them big enough for the amount of, for example, taco meat or hashbrowns that I was cooking for our group. Our whole group enjoyed the hot tub bunches! If we ever do a trip with the whole family to Manitou again, we will be contacting them again!!!"

We had such a nice adult birthday party at this property. The house is cozy, clean, and well stocked. The hot tub was a must. It feels very remote on the side of the mountain but, it’s just a short several minute drive to the main strip of Manitou Springs, including awesome hiking trails.
